Only invest what you can afford to loose, i see my invested money as loss as long as it is not back in my bank account.

They have to invest more, but again is the excess money not with the money that can be borne. The investment capacity will depend on the affordability of the community. If they want to invest more money

I agree with everyone. You have to start with the minimum. As for the good amount for investment. For everyone it is different. For someone it is 300$ , and for someone 3000$. I wish you good luck!

As you rightly said, do not invest more than you are willing to sacrifice. But you don't think you're gonna lose, do you? Everybody thinks so.

Well,

At first when you are just experimenting or practice just try for the amount of
50-100$ and when you already know what should you do and what should you
buy go ahead and invest whatever you wanna loose.

It all depends on how much money you have. They always say that you can not invest the last money. Invest only what you're not afraid to lose. After all, the cryptocurrency market is not stable and everything can happen.

Both novice and experienced people don't put all dollars in the encrypted world, so if you look at a coin, such as ETH, wait for it to go up.

Better start at small amount if you dont have any experience at all. So then you will be able to learn and aknowledge new things. Then if you are confident enough. you can start increasing ur funds.

If you are new to crypto market then I strongly suggest you never put your own money rather work for the task that is giving the free coin. But, if you are very curious then spend no more than $200and buy that crypto which prices are in point below and below $0.10 cents. Like; CAPP, HVN, Storiqa etc. some of the good cryptocurrency. Work for the bounty to get the free crypto coin and within 6 months of time, you will earn a decent amount of crypto.

I think it depends on how much money you can also invest. If you have $ 10 you will find strategies to increase your capital quickly. If you have more than $ 1000 you can find long trade strategies.

This is the standard of living and is very variable to countries, but to me, 5-6k dollars is a good investment.

What is a good amount to start with when investing into crypto?

I see lots of posts about “I have $100 / $200, what should I buy” and most of the time the answers are with that amount just invest in an ICO etc etc.

I would be interested to know what people here consider a good starting amount to invest...and I know the basics of not investing more than you can afford to loose but for arguements sake, what’s a good number to start with?

I’m not so much interested from a whale perspective of investing like $500k or $1mill, more so the normal everyday average joe male/female investor who wants to dabble in the crypto market. Would it be $1k, $2k, $5k, $10k, $20k etc? People new to the game or interested to start investing in this space may find this useful so they know a rough number which would be a good starting point before turning  that into riches (the obvious dream).

For reference I initially started with about $3k (it’s not loads but it was a start) and over time I’ve added more and more (it gets addicting) into the pot as and when I have the money to spend and when the time seems good to buy.

It's not the sum, but the ability to properly dispose of it. At the stage of the appearance of cryptocurrencies, I invested in any of the cryptocurrencies could earn a fortune, since some projects gave more than 20,000% of the profit. Of course, the larger the amount of investment - the sooner it can be multiplied by distributing to different coins. I would have a capital of $ 1 million, I would have invested it all in cryptocurrencies.

A good amount is when you get 10% of the profit for a month of life. Just more than the Deposit, the smaller the percentage of the jump you need correspondingly less risk. And most importantly do not be greedy.

That good starting amount depends on your income and savings. However, I do not think anything less than $100 can give decent returns.

I think it might be a very good investment right now to get 10 ethereum. I still believe it's very cheap.
