There is no good amount to invest. It is depends on your needs.
if you need to invest on coin to hold it only, $100 is enough to become $1000 few years later.
but if you want to invest on other, it may require minimum investment above $100.

What is a good amount to start with when investing into crypto?

I see lots of posts about “I have $100 / $200, what should I buy” and most of the time the answers are with that amount just invest in an ICO etc etc.

I would be interested to know what people here consider a good starting amount to invest...and I know the basics of not investing more than you can afford to loose but for arguements sake, what’s a good number to start with?

I’m not so much interested from a whale perspective of investing like $500k or $1mill, more so the normal everyday average joe male/female investor who wants to dabble in the crypto market. Would it be $1k, $2k, $5k, $10k, $20k etc? People new to the game or interested to start investing in this space may find this useful so they know a rough number which would be a good starting point before turning  that into riches (the obvious dream).

For reference I initially started with about $3k (it’s not loads but it was a start) and over time I’ve added more and more (it gets addicting) into the pot as and when I have the money to spend and when the time seems good to buy.
The best amount - the amount that is not a pity

its all depend on you ? how much profit you want to make and how much lose you can handle ? my advice is just dont invest to something that you cant afford to lose mate.

It depends on your work on that ICO. If the ICO has good project and vision then invest as much as you can so that return would be good. As new ICO has good chance to give nice return. As at present ENLTE ICO is running and you can trust and invest a good amont as rate has been doubled after preICO

It depends on your salary/capital. Considering criptocurrency as high risk investment I prefer to invest 10-15% of my money. The more risk of investment - the less money you need to invest.

It depends upon the financial condition of someone. Being volatile nature of the market, it is advised that amount which you can spare easily to invest/lose, will be good amount.

from my think, the best budget to invest on something is not more than 10 percent from our total wealth. then you can separate it to portfolio (lets call it only 1 percent to invest on cryptocurrency trading)

It is best not to be too eager for investment. If all your money amounts to $ 1,000 then just invest $ 100 - $ 500. If you fail at least still have money.

I do it all the time. I already have a huge portfolio of crypto-currencies. I think in 2019 I would get a profit of 300-500%.

As a beginning investor, I would suggest you invest as much as you can without actualky endangering your financial security with theamount you have invested. A few hundred dollars is fine. But you could invest as much as you want ib tge world of cryptpcutrency. The only rhing you have to keep in mibd is not endangering your financial security while you are investing.

It is not an easy question.Depends on your savings and your wages,if you want more profit-you have to invest more.I think 1000-5000$  is the regular average amount.

I think actually you can spend a little more that you can afford to lose because that won't be a huge damage to you and if it's sucess and you will earn a good income or else it'll become a lesson for you for the next time investing ICO.

For me, there is no right or optimal ampunt to invest on cryotocurrencies. Just as long as you are not financially hurt by investing your wealth on the cryptocurrency you aimed to invest on and you are not in danger of getting homeless or poor in case your investment fails for a few months. There is no suggested amount. Just the amount you are willing and are able to invest to.

all people are different. for someone $ 100 to invest will be a large amount, and for someone the loss of $ 1,000,000 will not affect the finances. personally, I invested $500

Depending on the amount you own and the profit you want to achieve. But I advise you not to invest in all the money you are having, since investment always comes with risk, you can lose everything!

Actually, the sky is the limit. Just make sure all of it is money you can afford to lose. Don’t get a loan or sell anything valuable like your house, just to invest in crytocurrency.

Firstly, you must invest only personal funds, not borrowed! And from personal funds, take a maximum of 30%, this amount and invest! Set aside every month some funds for investment!
