Invest any amount which u are afford to lose then only u will make good money in any market condition as a investor u should be balanced stage
With a different vision, everything will depend on the time and project you choose, any good amount to get started, but you should keep adding it when you have spare money to maximize your profit later.
Perfect amount to invest in crypto is as much as you are prepared to lose. Never invest more. Since if you do you might get deeply disappointed. Oh any never invest someones else money. Ever. Not even hold coins for friends. I read a lot of bad stories when people were buying coins for their boss and coworkers and friends and then was hacked and ended up not only without their money but also without job and friends.
Starting with $3K is a good way to start. Dividing it to bitcoin and 2 altcoins is a good way to start investing. Diversifying the portfolio to several altcoins is a wise move because it lessens risk of losing all. Hope that this won't happen. But anyway, reward is far more higher than risk if investment is handled carefully.
Investing is very risky but if are ready loss or any profits you should have to understand about the market. It's all depends upon what you are investing and if you invest then you have to be patience to handle any loss or disappointment.

Back to our self if we have a lot of money so we should invest more but if you want less risk to invest which you think it's a good amount for you if you lose it.
When I started trading crypto all I have in my bag is 500$. Having 500$ in cryptocurrency trading is not that much but it is already a good amount to be able to see a good profit from it. You can invest in in either matured coins or any ICO that has a high potential.
First, the amount that is not sorry to lose. If more specifically, starting from $ 1000 you can hope for a serious profit. if you do not have such money, it is better to earn somewhere else and do not waste time on cryptocurrencies.

In my opinion it's best to invest what you can afford to loose as from $100 upward is a good amount to start with in Crypto world, but it will be more cool if you can go bigger from $1000 upward
A good amount to invest in as much money as you can. But lest you invest all your money, maybe you can invest some of your money. Because if you invest all the money you have, if you lose your loss later.
Everyone here has their own amount . I started with $ 1000 and it was enough to get acquainted with the market. Now I use other amounts, based on experience

maybe, I think investing in crypto is not just as much as you invest your money into any coin, it's a mistake and will be a burden to the fore and you better better study first and apply HOLD system and must be long term, then the money you have invested in coins potentially better in the future then the benefits you will get. I would be interested to know what people here consider a good starting amount to invest...and I know the basics of not investing more than you can afford to loose but for arguements sake, what’s a good number to start with?
I’m not so much interested from a whale perspective of investing like $500k or $1mill, more so the normal everyday average joe male/female investor who wants to dabble in the crypto market. Would it be $1k, $2k, $5k, $10k, $20k etc? People new to the game or interested to start investing in this space may find this useful so they know a rough number which would be a good starting point before turning that into riches (the obvious dream).
For reference I initially started with about $3k (it’s not loads but it was a start) and over time I’ve added more and more (it gets addicting) into the pot as and when I have the money to spend and when the time seems good to buy.

I will say it depend on your pocket. If your pocket is full of $, it will be easy to take high risk but always have a particular amount you will be using for investment on every project you are going into.
