What comes to my mind is , gambling(verb) is an act or maybe a behaviour which you are placing your money as a stake to the games with a risk involved . There are possible reason why you are staking your money , maybe you are looking or expecting for your money to multiply or maybe you are just looking for entertainment .
Since there are only 2 choices, it's either win or lose. As long as you are able to take the risk then that would be fine.
Similarly I'm having the definition of gambling as do or die. Even I do gamble for entertainment, I will continue my gambling if I win otherwise I will shut on my gambling for the day if I face losses.
A definition of gambling is not fixed for me as I'm not considering anything with a gambling seriously. I just gamble for the fun and I will continue it as long as I am afford to spending for it.
People think that gambling is only when you're in the casino betting and all. When you play card games, dice games, roulette, etc. but my definition of gambling in my mind is not always when you bet your money into something or someone. You can always risk other things in life when you take an opportunity.
For example, you have a job opportunity in California and a lot of people are going to apply as well. You gamble your way there and see what would happen. You risk your time and money to find out if you're going to be lucky enough to be accepted for the job.
Probably all we do in life particularly if you are aiming to achieve something without assurance is a gamble, therefore you need to play your cards very well so you will have a good future. In real life gamble, we need to be intelligent and wise to manage our life on earth that we may live peaceful and healthy at the same time. That's gamble but not gambling by definition. Back to the topic, gambling is something you put thing with value to increase it's value, that's for me.

gambling is anything that you take risk. May it be money or situation. It is present when risk is present. Other may think that gambling is some activity that requires betting of money and taking risk to gain or win money. But for me gambling is everything. Everything you decide to do you are gambling on the consequences that it might have a negative or positive result.
Yes because even in investments risk are always there. So your definition about is right and it is something that you really don't know what would be the result.

For me, Gambling is only a fun activity to do when i feel boring and exhausted. It is extremely hard to make money from gambling, so i never think to gamble as a legit investment neither a profitable job. You can lose all your penny because of gambling 
Gambling is too risky for me Out of that fun activity you have the chance of winning some amount if you will get serious or not with not.
That is what comes to my mind and definition of gambling, a game that has a chance to get some profit out of your money while enjoying.

well the definition of gambling for me was It's for entertainment only and not supposed to be our source of income. because it's too risky to invest in gambling first of all gambling will never go for you to get rich. gambling for long term will lead to losing. and that's base on my experience. much better if you use your money in other things as source of income. never invest in gambling but other people investing it on gambling sometimes they're getting luck that's why they're having a huge amount of income but remember gambling is not stable.

Well for me gambling is anything that you do that there's no sure result whether positive or negative. It doesn't necessarily mean that money has to be involved. People from the old times wager anything from goods, labor, time and even slaves. We gamble everyday unknowingly with the decisions that we make.

According to me Gambling is a Shit Activity Based On Pure Luck and No Experience Matter in Gambling and Also I think that Gambling is Not a Way Of Making Money Or Profit Making...And Gambling is Addicted Due to the Greediness Of Making a Big Bounty But it is Not Possible....

Gambling is not good to us as long as you can control your self to not gamble do it for your own good. Because gambling once you can addicted on it you can lose all your money and you can not be able to do right thing because you want to do is gamble for you to get back all your lose.Well for people that are not open minded they are going to think that gambling is really not good to all of us. And why you are going to gamble if you don't know what you are entering. But for me, gambling is business and if you don't want those gambling site owners to get profit then just simply don't gamble and just save your money alone.

Gambling is not good to us as long as you can control your self to not gamble do it for your own good. Because gambling once you can addicted on it you can lose all your money and you can not be able to do right thing because you want to do is gamble for you to get back all your lose. 
for me, gambling is a games with money involve and need luck to be a winner and win the prize, sometimes we need skill too but its in other option we should have. gambling can ruin our life and we can loss everything we have, so better to stay away from gambling as we can and do another thing that will give a good life to us.
Gambling is for fun and entertainment, if you are playing for profit or for earning a living then i suggest you to stop gambling because for sure you won't be able to win against the house and you will be losing all of your money
That is right that gambling is a place of entertainment and people have to gamble only to get entertainned but yesterday a question came to my mind that games are already giving us entertainment then why betting of money involved in that is that because betting money is also entertaning? if that is right then I will mean that earning money actually is the cause of entertainment in gambling.
Gambling is for fun and entertainment, if you are playing for profit or for earning a living then i suggest you to stop gambling because for sure you won't be able to win against the house and you will be losing all of your money

Agree, if you are not careful you can lose your money in just one blink, gambling for me is a very risky way to earn money you can earn fast and lose fast as well. Jump to:
