Yes, correct putting our money at risk to catching others money is gambling. But in gambling making profit is not that much easy. So I think depositing our money to casino's sites is the actual definition of Gambling.

To me, gambling is not about the investment. It is an uneducated way of risking your money. A lot of people think they are investing in a lot of things but they are more towards gambling. Like the US crisis that leads to many people over-invest in housing just because they think they can make quick bucks where they dont even research anything about it.

Gambling for me is just for entertainment and only made for fun. Not to make money from it. But to others gambling is defined as a ticket of becoming rich. Not knowing they will just lose from it when they get addicted and can't control themselves when playing.

If you are investing, you are not a fool, you are a calculated investor, but if you think you can make a living off gambling (on a game with a house edge) in the long run, you are definitely a fool. And there's always the mentality of "I can win my money back" which can be detrimental.

Even investing on a gambling site would not guarantee you for long term and it depends on how long would the site would run. Investment could be defined in that way but if you are a player itself then it's not a investment anymore but entertainment with a very high risk of losing money.

Yes, very good point as nothing is guaranteed, but investing is definitely safer than gambling, especially in the long run. Generally, sites run for quite long if you make the right pick, look at primedice, it's been around for so many years. I think investing, is still safer than gambling. Just make sure you do your research, and don't keep all your eggs in one basket.
