Gambling is never seen as a investment.
You are not investing into it but your paying for a service. It is considered as a entertainment and it's value is determined by the enjoyment you get from winning using this service. But losing there you are paying that premium for taking the risk involved in using their service as well. Sad

Gambling is a game that deals with money and greed and it's not any investment. There is only risk involved in this game and it's illegal in many countries as you earn money without any hard work but just with predictions or with cards.

My opinion about gambling is a way to earn and to lose money in a fast way like 1 second and it's really risky and you need to ready to lose your money or doubling your money.

I think you have confused with gambling and investment because many gambling houses are giving an opportunity for investors to invest and make a profit when they make a profit. But it doesn't mean that investors are gambling, they are high-risk takers to grow their money. It's just a game. As long as you are thinking that way you are fine, but when you start thinking it's a way to make money you are in big trouble.

Since gambling designed to make us lose, just a few of people get advantages of it, like the house. Gambling for fun will be okay, as long as we don't want more and more, to become greedy. well by definition, investment is when you put a certain amount into something that someday would make you earn from that amount. technically gambling can do that for you when you get lucky enough to win. however, gambling is a game of chances. it puts your money in great risk and more likely than not, instead of seeing your money grow, you'd see it vanish. one can argue that it's in a way the same with investing as you're not sure of your investment will have a profitable return, but the odds of you losing money in gambling is too big in comparison

for me gambling is all the activities that I don't have edge in , for example most people here think that it's easy to make profit in sportsbetting but for me betting on sports has always been a pure gambling cause I'm not good with that and I'm still down on it
but when it comes to poker I don't count it gambling personally , cause it's the only game I'm making money by playing it
it's like investment for me , cause you can calculate your ROI on it and also you can know your avg rate

For me gambling is a game and somehow a way to entertain yourself. if you are lucky you can also earn from it but i dont expect too much, i only use the free btc given by the site to start gambling or sometimes i have extra money to play on. definition of gambling depends on players on how they look at it.

according in dictionary.com, definition about gambling is to stake or risk money, or anything of value, on the outcome of something involving chance.

but in my mind, gambling is activity when money and games are involve and no matter what the games it is, as long as there is money, then its called gambling.

gambling must have a couple of factors that are all necessary to be considered as gambling in first place:

1) high risk
2) unknown result, and with no way of predicting it either.
3) money is involved

if what you have in mind doesn't have one of these 3 then it is not gambling. for example trading is not gambling as long as you can predict the results (speculation) to some extent.

Gambling for me is a game and not an investment...Just like online games that you need to use or buy accessories for your character to make it stronger, same as in betting, you need to ask many bettors to see which one is a good strategy and at the same time using your money to make you last longer... What comes to my mind is that, gambling is a game of chance, there is money involved that you risk without assurance of gaining profit. Most of the times people just play for entertainment, but sometimes to earn (they are using different techniques to have a higher chance of winning). However, I really think that it's just a matter of luck, maybe techniques are just helping to have some advantage just like in sports betting. For me it can't be considered as an investment unless you invest on the bankroll of the site.

I consider gambling as game, a game with high tension and full of excitement, winning or losing in the gambling feels like a mystery, we wont know it until the banker reveal the game, and i like to think gambling as an entertainment, where you can choose bunch of games in casino, how the people invented new games of gambling, everytime a new game is introduce i feel very curious to know the game further
