Yes, SIA is good project with hard working team. Sia coin fluctuations had been similar lately, dont lose hope and keep holding.
You never lose money unless you sell your crypto at low!

That's true. I believe people are scared and have been pannicking, therefore they put huge sell walls at low prices.

Sia is a good coin, so is her team and product. For the last time it has subsided. Well, I think we are waiting for something cool, I think soon there will be serious news on this coin.

I really liked the idea behind SIA and I am supporting it.
But there is competition in this scene with other coins so devs should work harder.

Devs are still alive and active.  Problem is 2 fold.  All coins are dropping, and alot of people are dumping their coins to help pay for their $2500 Asics they ordered.  1 thing I can promise is when ASIC's went live for both BTC and LTC this exact same problem occurred where the coin price was trashed until people had paid off their ASIC's and then held onto their coins for a while to sell gradually to make a bit more money from them.  Guessing if it can take the big guys out, it will do the same for Sia.  That being said, I don't see the price growing for a while yet.

Yeah I guess the decrease in value is not found only in SIA coin but also on other great coin in the market. I hope sooner evrything will be the same again in SIA. I chose the coin because it has a really great idea and platform. I will just keep on holding in this coin. I think there is nothing wrong in hoping on this coin until the end of this year. Smiley

What is happening with SIA coin.  Cry Huh Angry
It has been going down and down. Is there a bottom. Are the devs still alive or are they packing now that they got the BTC for the asci machines?
This trend scares me. Am I wrong, should I sell out or will it start moving up again?

Don't be scared. And do not sell your Siacoin when you are at a loss. I think you did your reading about the Siacoin project before jumping to invest some to it. Trust the project and trust the team. Both are very solid. SC is a force that is accumulating power.

I agree so much with this. I wish more people would stop focusing so much on the price and more on the developments. SC has a lot going for itself compared to it's competitors. It's definitely not a coin for the short term. Everything may not be perfect yet, but things will get better in time with SC.

If you understand how market works you will know that there is nothing wrong with sia.  Cryto-curreny Market is cyclical in nature. There will always be boom and bust. Your duty is to know your exit price even before you buy

What is happening with SIA coin? Cry Cry
Sia coin price falling down very much.I don't know what I am doing now.Because i have many Sia coin.I buy it per sia coin at 0.00000283.But at present sia coin price is 0.00000129.I am not sure when sia coin go back its past price.Because i need loss recover.

Yeah man, Siacoin was one of my favourite coins in the list of cryptos. SC was at 500 staoshis when I started trading but I feel really bad when I look at its price now. I had bought SC st those prices and was fortunate enough to sell it back at those prices. I never knew SC would go this down and stay in the same position for months. It has been a very long time now since SC has crossed 300 sat . Feel bad for you that you are holding so many Siacoins from a long time.

that's right, well what you suggest, do not sell Coin when you are confused, because if you sell the moment with confusion later you will regret, hopefully the price will back up.

what you are complaining about with the SIA coin, I suggest continue to be patient, maybe dev is not active, let's look for the information and always hope that SIA coin will rise again, it is same as PBT because it goes down, the price when ICO is different from now.

Thanks everyone. Great info.
I only have about 100k and would love to get about $0.01 or 0.000002 Btc. Hopefully it gets there in the next 6-9 months.
The price can go higher if viewed at a long term perspective. I would also wait for a dump to happen so I can get some SIA coins.

Siacoin price is falling down sine weeks now.
I think one of the reasons is Siacoin is one of the coin mineable in dual mode with Claymore'd dual miner. And with nVidia GPU, this dual mining has no effect on the principal mining (Ethereum).
Then, nVidia miners earn a lot of Siacoin without spending more money.

I didn't know about this dual mining possibility. Have to take note. However, now that it has lost so much value I'm personally holding. It may take years to recover, but it will. It would have been wise to sell earlier, now it makes little sense to me, I'm just forgetting about that money until it will eventually reappear again.

Hey there, i am going to buy some Siacoin (SC) today but i am worried right now seen this topic. i select this coin because its dump now.
now i am confused. what should i do..?

Just buy it as long you are not spending money that maintains your daily live expenses, as SC is really low now , I don't it can go any lower
Even it is able to go even lower , the potential return vs loss is very good in shape right now , you can expect a possibility of 10 fold in profit but there's almost impossible a 90% loss as for now
