ETH definetly. PoS is the future.
For now it's better and safer to sway out from the alts because it's bitcoin time. WHen bitcoin will calm down a little then you can start searching the bottoms on alts and make a move but untill then you will only loose money if you ask for my opinion.
I guess eBTC is on the run
I think NEO, XRP and some major alts will grow much after a hardfork. For myself, in longterm Im seeing NEO as a top option.
I read one article and author said that smart contract for person and small business is a very needed projects. And i find one, that should start in November, Confideal. CDL coins on ETH platform

But all I understand is, Ethereum is indeed the best cryptocurrency. You can compare the ETH rating with the other cryptocurrency. ETH price always grow so nice unlike other cryptocurrency. Even when compared with the existing cryptocurrency long ago, ETH can surpass it. For example like Litecoin, I guess Litecoin is quite famous and old. But ETH remains the best cryptocurrency.

I also think neo and and monero are good buys right now. I can especially add zcash after snowden's tweet about it. These 2 anon coins plus chinese ethereum are still the best ones with bright future ahead.
Heads up, those are good alt coins. If you are not into ICOs you are choosing the right alt coins. Adding zCash on the choice well you are definitely choosing one of the reliable alt coins that are not just pump and dump alt coins. Just keep an eye also with some other alt coins that can possibly pump while they are low valued like siacoin but still I would rely to the first alt coins that was mentioned.
To obtain a profit before the end of 2017, the best altcoins are ripple, litecoin, etherium, omiseGo, Qtum. Until the end of the year, I think they will update their highs.

Still the best altcoin for me is Ethereum, because simply of its smart contacts capability. Bitcoin now is more of a investment platform while ETH can be utilizes to build, deploy and implement smart contracts. I think mostly the top 5 coins should be a good buy. NEO I think is a good coin to invest, this is the Chinese counterpart of Ethereum, so they almost share the same capability. And then we have XRP and XEM which for me has a good chance to really captured the heart of many investors. However, there are dark horses coins as well, but you have to investigate it for yourself. Why dont you go and do your own research, I don't understand this, some idiots want people to spoon feed them and even if some kind hearted person does, and if the former gets a loss, he blames the latter for giving him the wrong advice, better go and do your own work and research, it would be the best for you.
