Like the title says, i would like some feedback from the experts in this industry, so far i have gathered these 5 most important that seem to be used by everyone, can you add more ways?

1. Twitter
2. Reddit
3. This forum
4. Telegram
5. Slack (which i heard is full of scammers)
Twitter most likely...Maybe just a hairline more of a better option than Facebook. I have noticed that it is more common for ICO airdrops to look for Twitter accounts in their camoaigns. So I would assume there is more exposure in Twitter.

In terms of importance: YOUTUBE, BitcoinTalk, Reddit, Telegram (for communicating with responses to all those interested in investing) and then possibly Twitter, Facebook and Instagram just to maintain a presence but those aren't fully needed

Bitcointalk has the most useful information but relevant and helpful posts are mixed in with spam posts which can slow down the learning process. I check twitter if I do not have alot of time. Reddit can be really useful.  You only need to read OP and the first few posts to gain the most relevant information.  Rating system really helps. Telegram is great because you can get an answer very quickly from someone from the project. I think the only one you can leave off the list is slack. If your using telegram its redundant and yes I have received around two dozen scam emails this year.

Hail Eris!
Different Social Media platforms will be good for targeting different audiences.  Facebook advertising, for example, might be good for targetting the masses who have a passing interest.  Bitcointalk should be better for targetting the fanatics. Wink  Reddit is always nice.

Lately though I have been getting my ICO suggestions from the community on Quora.  Quora is awesome in that they have a high frequency of very intelligent people (it is a site for knowledge discovery) and discussions about Crypto tech has been increasing quite a lot there lately.

Twitter and telegram are most popular social media for ICO promotion. you have to add medium, facebook, steemit, bitcointalk, too.
And why do you think Twitter and telegram are the most popular? I think people who are interested in ICO projects, first of all learn about it on bitcointalk, and then will already subscribe to these projects in social networks, etc. It's my opinion.

Bitcointalk is the most important as it is usually the ground zero for crypto projects. People involved with cryptos get their infos here, then they spread them on mainstream social media (twitter is still the most popular, followed by FB. People promoting huge telegram channels are doing themselves a disservice as channels with 5k+ members where everyone can talk are a MESS).

Without this core support of bitcointalk scenebois and gals the word of mouth spreads much slower and with less credibility.

I agree with the author! It is in this order, but I would remove the slack from the list, not a reliable platform. Constantly hack and a lot of scum

In my opinion, Twitter still the best social media platform for promoting ICO's projects. Most crypto dealers and users use this platform and its also popular and easy to use. Then Facebook is also a good tool but advertising there is harder because you need to post in the related groups and so on.

Great job on finding these great social media sites. But there are still quite a lot you haven't mentioned that are also great sites to be advertising on just about anything. One is discord. Another is facebook(which is undeniably a very great site to advertise in because of its popularity), steemit(which is also great and starting to be more and more popular). These three can really be of great help for advertisers in my honest opinion amd should really be used.

Well, Bitcointalk is very important for promoting an ICO. As far as social media is concern Facebook and Twitter are the backbone of internet marketing. You can also promote in Medium, Reddit, Youtube, Linkedin, and Telegram.

I would add facebook and medium. Facebook for posting everything that is going on with your project and sharing it through many groups that exist around crypto and Medium for creating content.
which is I also agree mate, facebook do have a lots of readers and members and if your team can penetrate facebook much larger businesses can be
acquired, ico's nowadays really been a good way to earned especially those good quality project who really have a good target audience, its about
marketing your project and always extend  hand to your prospect investors.
