if u thinking your future then must be need bitcoin, only bitcoin can be success their own target for future. just guess last 5years ago bitcoin position? and after 5year bitcoin position? who people buy bitcoin last 5years ago, they are now getting great position..
Bitcoin is already starting to establish itself as a mainstream currency. Quite a few companies accept bitcoin as a form of payment and as a currency that is all that matters that someone will accept something for payment of something. Crypto currencies are still relatively quite young and will be a while before bitcoin starts to wane the main thing stopping it just now is the transaction issues.
I doubt that the popularity of Bitcoin will wane in the future. Bitcoin is powerful. Nothing can beat it. Bitcoin is in the road of becoming the future mainstream currency. Its price is climbing up again. I strongly believe that this year will be a great year for Bitcoin. It will set a new record.

Well, I do hope bitcoins become mainstream and a mainstay to the society as another form of currency. But I guess it won't happen without the Segwit2x update and other issues to be addressed by some update. But the hope is still here. One day, bitcoins will take the world by storm.
I see bitcoin will play a big role in revolutionizing our current monetary system from using paper money to cryptocurrency. I think bitcoin will continue to be the leader of crypro in the next five years, BTC’s price I think will become more and more stable in the future as it will be used as a real currency which is to buy and sell goods. I am envisioning bitcoin 20 years from now a leading currency. Especially if u can use it offline.. this time It may not be that popular to many due to some reasons..first it needs internet some places dont have internet acces and secondly. Lack of knowledge regarding bitcoin.
