I don't think so. Just a single programmer is not at all an element in bitcoin ecosystem, it is a vast decentralized network. Bitcoin will hit mainstream of adoption very soon probably within this year.

There are discrepancies right now and under a decade then why do you think there wont be any later ? The division is going to kill it and is definitely going to decrease the price and also the popularity.Would you invest in such wars and flames ?

Satoshi never intended on keeping a high block size anyway. Something needs to be done before the whole network falls over. Its already in a bad shape with transactions taking ages to confirm for people.

not in agreement with this, xt propose soem stupid features, that trace your ip, which will destroy the only remaining part of the anonymity of bitcoin

like it was said many times they should increase the block limit to two mega, instead of adding features that shit, or are not needed for the time being

Yeah we need to take initial step to introduce bitcoins to our friends and family as you said very few people know what bitcoin is so unless it is not introduced in proper way, people would hesitate in knowing and using bitcoins, and if they accept or reject that is their individual decision, but promoting bitcoin in a positive way can make a difference.

Mike Hearn's leaving really grabbed a lot of attention. Which will make ppl to rethink what BIP proposals they should support and make bitcoin move forward with big blocksize. I tend to support it as well.

Today's not so bright, 2 bad news came out from Bitcoin world and it's shaking the price of bitcoin pretty good Sad

The price is going down hill and we can only hope there's a stop to it Sad
