that's right what you say. because the number of frauds in ICO that cause ICO good name can be destroyed. but not completely ICO is deceiving, because my experience playing in ICO not all do fraud

Lots of people are getting scammed because they thought they will gain profit by investing in some ICO or new projects. Problem is they dont do lots of research first before investing. If i will be investing in some project i will make sure that the team is legit and they already had lots of successful project. That being said the chance of getting scammed is decrease. Too lessen the feeling when getting scammed make sure that you invest what you can afford to lose, we will never know what will happen to our money once we invested it.

They allegedly too very worried about their citizens and that they are not deceived when investing their money in these risky crypto-currencies, the authorities prefer to prohibit its use altogether. Grant the right and opportunity for everyone to decide what to invest in, and what not to invest. ICO projects need not be banned, but regulated. I think you are totally right about that. First before joining an ICO campaign we need to research the team project if they had a record of having a good handling projects. Second, who's on the team, we also need to research the who are generating the team from the team manager down to the programmer or other positions. Third, their backgrounds and credentials, We also need to know their background in the industry, if they had a good record in many projects they make, If their are records that they are scam a project. And lastly public track record. As I said earlier we need to know of they have a good record in handling ICO projects.
Hopefully you apply this kind of thing before you joined in any ICO project to avoid for you to scam.
According to me Project building construction is certainly not an easy thing. Moreover, coupled with the trust that has been given from the client. I am not of the motion that ICO should be eradicated but there should be a way of thoroughly screening all ICO's, Starting from the point of entering into smart contract with any of the smart contract platform to ICO listing platforms.
In some fields there are some limitations we are the decision makers and we are the responsibility to make some profits or energy so making trusts is important so no way is available now.
We need to take some steps to change the way it is operating now. There are way too many scam projects on a stage now

since 2017 ICO is too popular because plenty of ICO project has been announce for everyday but most of them eventually being an scam projects but to remove ICO project this is quite difficult because ICO based on people demand and if people still liked to invest on ICO project then ICO will never disappears but probably if people are getting tired with ICO or stay away from them then gradually ICO will be lack of interest and disappear
Your number 4 statement is kinda true, people just want to profit but not trying to be more creative about it. I really appreciate the project that really2 mean it to change the world to be better. But, kinda hate the project that just want to earn profit. Vision is really important.
The problem that i am seeing here in the projects that made them not trustworthy enough is the cases of the scam projects and made the other people think that investing to the startup projects are not good. I think, in order to lessen the scam projects they should submit their majority of their personal information to the authorities so if they do something bad then they will get caught.
Yes it's a good idea to submit personal informations in the public so that the investors can have a trust in their project on which can possibly removed those scammers that makes them encourage to invest in the project. Trust is very important because it can make every project successful and easily to adopt all over the world due to the team that are working hard in order to spread the awareness of the project to the investors.It doesn't really matter mate because they will never ever release the real public profiles even if they want to. I mean they could always fake the profiles and in this digital world do you think thats the problematic one at all? I dont believe in that one and it will never be true as long as they are scammers.
Yes I do understand that if they are real one and not scammers then they will surely show up the public profiles but to be honest it could be very very risky for them if the projects failed and someone accused to them. They could be under juri immediately. But this is decentralised crypto and projects do fail here even if they are genuine one. So why would they risk it.

ICO is on of the few areas in cryptoworld where I believe that regulation is the key. We need rigorous analysis here made by experienced economists or veterans of crypto. ICO is a great idea if done right.
Pretty good idea to close the ICO's as they are actually becoming the viruses of crypto world.

that's true, many tokens in the market just make investors confused and unfocused. but in my opinion there is no need to remove ICO, but it is better to restrict it by providing an ICO standard so that inappropriate tokens are not available.
Closing down all up and coming ICOs is no the best solution. There are very good projects emerging despite the tonnes of scam projects in the crypto world. I believe strict regulations of ICOs and strict KYC processes( applied to project managers) can help nip the scam projects in the bud.

Do they also provide KYC data to you? I mean personal data from the ICO team. I think it's not fair they asked for KYC, but we did not get KYC from the team.
Everyone can not guarantee whether by applying KYC on some ICOs is really legit or just make the scene more dramatic as if their ICO were honestly a real scam.
