I knew DT members would be hovering around this topic. I agree there is nothing harm on playing pranks. I only disagree when someone like a BM shows how much we are dependent on them through a signature campaign and how he made me feel that I was one of the beggars trying to get a position on my BMs signature campaign.

The forum and signature campaigns were not meant to be a full time job. Signature campaigns are a privilege regardless and prank or not you lost nothing. I don't want to tell you how to feel, but come on don't be a Karen. Noone is making fun of you for applying and it's no different than applying for any other campaign, noone got accepted basically.

As some of you know, I'm not so active on the forum lately, and I just found out about the prank. Lol. I have to confess that I found it funny, although I think that making a joke about this is not the most suitable thing to do because there are people who may feel hurt as we are seeing. Not everything goes to make a prank. To give an exaggerated example, I wouldn't think of putting a knife to someone's neck to make a prank.

But to be sincere, if I am a campaign manager, I can never do something like that.
I agree, but then again, I never understood the (many) companies that pull silly jokes on their customers (or employees).

Although I empathize your experience towards the recent event but sadly you voluntary agree on this kind of prank by joining his signature campaign because of his written rules quoted below.

I did voluntarily agree on the signature campaign but not the prank.

▶️ I reserve the full right to add/remove any participants, push/cancel/reopen the campaign, or edit any rules of this campaign

Does it says anywhere that you will be pranked by me whenever I want to. What you have quoted is a generic terminology of every BM.

Where is the harm exactly? Does your ego not allow you to accept you got pranked?

Have you spent a lot of time for the campaign? No.
Does it take a lot of effort to make an apply post? No.
Have you left your previous campaign? No.
Have you financially harmed? No.

Have you spent a lot of time for the campaign? - Yes, I have. What am I doing here digging potatoes?
Does it take a lot of effort to make an apply post? - Certainly not but why humiliate someone genuinely?
Have you left your previous campaign? - He/she gave me the first opportunity but that does not means you take me for granted with such pranks!

In as much I am not in support of what happened you are not to crucify him for such action on prank, yes it's an April fool day and even Theymos did his own and everyone where panicking, although some people already knew is a prank. There's nothing bad about it but since he fully explained it to be prank then nothing to panic again besides you didn't leave your current campaign entirely to join new campaign to raise such topic for your manager.
Just let this go as it's a fool day. Even I myself also pranked my wife yesterday and she fell flat for it, after which we laughed over it and nothing much was attached to it.

Although, there is nothing that can be done, people are allowed to do a lot of stupid things on April 1st. So no harm.

Personally, I thought it was April fool at the first but later I was convinced too lol. But it was a fun after all. Royse got a lot of us.
Why Royse deleted our posts when we said it was April fool? It should have left it as fun than deleting our posts. But to be sincere, if I am a campaign manager, I can never do something like that.

Then why you should be unhappy? Well, it's your perspective but that doesn't mean that it was something people should be unhappy. If someone had put a lot of effort was Royse himself, to present the thread.
In my personal opinion, you are taking it such seriously that you shouldn't.
Regarding negative tag, I dont think Royse will be that guy to negative tag you for creating this topic. He better knows the use of the trust system.

I got pranked and I see no reason to cry about it. I was already part of the Sinbad campaign where the fees where supposed to be bumped to $10/post (damn you Royse777 Smiley), so I didn't submit an application. But despite that it was on 1 April, I still believed it was genuine. I even posted about it in the morning in our local Croatian thread where we keep track of new and existing BTC signature campaigns and said I believe it was real and gave it a 70% at being genuine (damn you again Royse777). So what?

I can't believe how sensitive people are.

We are all joining on signature campaign to earn for our post and it’s normal to chase a campaign with high pay rate. This prank is just brutal because it was timing to the recent competition for the signature campaign just to scoop ex-Chipmixer participants.

You will not get any negative feedback by just stating your mere honest opinion towards your BM. And I doubt that he will removed with this kind opinion. I knew that there will be some repercussions on pulling that kind of prank.

BTW, Joining a too good to be true high pay rate campaign on April fools day is really hilarious.

I am not happy with the unprofessional attitude of @Royse777. Since there is nothing written on his signature ANN about creating a topic against the BM, which I am an active participant. I am going ahead and writing about my discomfort with the April fool prank. I confident I will be removed from the signature campaign and may be blacklisted or might get a negative trust after this topic but if I am not doing it meant he/she will continue with his unprofessional tactics.

I never expected or thought even in my dreams that he/she is so childish! A BM reposting a signature campaign with the intent of playing a prank. True straits of an unprofessional BM. This is sad for me as I have to create a topic against my own BM whom I respected.

As many like me are not going to forget this embarrassment when he/she announced that it was and that the signature campaign has been renewed, I personally thought that it was not genuine but later on realized it was as BM replied to one of the queries about its authenticity of this campaign. I have edited it as per my requirement but my question is Why would someone do that?

The following slots are already booked because they are reserved for last campaign participants.

It means open slots are:
16 * Legendary
17 * Hero
16 * Sr. Member
11 * Full Member.

We have 4 * avatar only campaigners. You will get paid in full in the next pay week.

Cheers,

Is earning Bitcoin through a signature campaign a prank? Can anyone believe in such an ideology but Royse777 was able to convince most of us that it can become a prank?

How can someone as a BM play a prank on members who are giving their everything to make this forum better? Just check those applications most of them were genuine even @Ratimov applied who is always available and has immensely contributed to this forum.

After knowing it was a prank he replied casually as there is nothing you can do when you know you were fooled by the BM after you have applied for the signature campaign.

This is what he wrote on that thread.
The best April Fool's joke in years. A lot of people actually believed it. Cheesy

That moment when a manager sees how someone is seriously counting on such a high payment for posts: https://i.imgur.com/d4tQ58u.mp4

What @Royse777 did was not right as he lured everyone with a high-paying offer to his signature campaign and later on announced it was a fake signature campaign on the pretext of April fool prank that eventually made me look like a beggar.
