no. Your coins wont get disapear if you hold it for a longer time because many of us do also hold our coins but guess what? Our coins is still safe and sound. It doesnt matter how long or how short you hold your coins because what matter the most is your carelessness on how you handle your coins. in my case ,

my plan is to hold my coins as long as i am not contented on the current value of bitcoin. If bitcoin reaches 19 to 20k again , i maybe withdraw half of my holdings in order to treat my self and celebrate.

Because my situation is somewhat different, I have bought a large part of the Bitcoin and Ethereum when the price of theirs very high, and now there is no more money to buy any cryptocurrencies.

That's my plan too, if the price of Bitcoin keep decreasing, it would be an opportunity for me to have it. When that time comes, I will hold it and I will be patient to wait until the price increases again.
