Sorry all, I would like to ask, what is your priority/aim of being in the bitcointalk forum in the first place?
To be honest. At first I just wanted to find free coins because initially I joined the telegram group airdrop and from there I was able to enter this forum. However, after getting to know this forum, it turns out that there are many benefits, starting from knowledge about crypto, crypto storage, trading and of course this forum can also make money.

From there I have a goal and priority to be on this forum to find information about crypto exclusively and I also just realized that this forum is the oldest crypto forum that has ever existed. So everything related to crypto or trading I look for in this forum, and finally because this forum is a discussion forum, anything that is not understood can be asked here so that it can increase my insight into crypto. Actually there is much more that we can get from this forum, if you often read and explore this forum you will find what is not found elsewhere.

Sorry all, I would like to ask, what is your priority/aim of being in the bitcointalk forum in the first place?
My priority and aim in Bitcointalk is to learn and earn as well. And also build a reputable profile on this platform. Many users have different aim/priority for joining Bitcointalk, but I would advise the beginners never to put earning as their first priority.Having this mindset to earn in Bitcointalk from signature campaigns wouldn't allow you grow your account as a newbie, whenever I visit bounties board I do see newbies who ought to learn and participate on discussion are busy chasing after bounties.Just like I said, newbies learn about Bitcoin, this forum is a well of knowledge where you can learn about the crypto space.

Reading all of these responses made me chuckle.
Yeah, sure, in 2013 we were here to learn something, but nowadays, 99% of people here are for the money.
Be it bounties, aidrops, campaigns or just tips on a good deal, it's all about the moolah
Maybe you, as one of the old and experienced users of this forum, are not here to gain knowledge, but there will always be "newbies" (new bitcoin followers) in the world who will come here specifically for knowledge. And also for advice and help, especially if the questions concern the technical direction. Old users also need a forum in order to share their experience and knowledge, when all the experienced users leave the forum (for one reason or another), who will remain the bearer of knowledge?

But in general, a forum is a forum for communicating and exchanging information first and foremost. This is the most important thing, and under what "sauce" (incentive in the form of signatures and bounties) this happens is not so important. What is important is that the forum continues to "live" and communication here doesn't stop.

P.S. Bitcointalk can't be unrelated to money, because bitcoin is primarily money (at least, that's how it was intended).

I agree with what you say, most users here on the forum are really for the money. But at the same time I don't think that this is some kind of problem that should be condemned. Money is a very strong motivator, and people are ready to work and try hard for it . We do not condemn and judge people who work at other jobs for money. This is considered an absolutely normal exchange: your efforts and competencies for an adequate monetary reward. With our forum you can perceive it the same way. Only here in order to claim payment, you need to really delve into the topic, write something worthwhile and useful for others. And there is nothing wrong with the fact that you can get money for this.

My aim of being here is to explore everything about cryptocurrency. Being in this Bitcointalk forum was the best thing that have ever happen to me, because I have gained many knowledge about Bitcoin investment. One thing I always like about this Bitcointalk forum is that, we keep on learning different things everyday. which have really helped me to be more conscious both in the forum here, and aside the forum.
Learning never ends; where your own knowledge stops, that's where the other person's own starts from. We learn from others and also share what we know, and sometimes we get corrected, as we might be carrying wrong information around like the right one.

Most people would come here and claiming to learn bitcoin but they end up with other things.
We come for something else, which is the knowledge majority of people say they are here for, no doubt, but the signature campaign and making money off the forum, which is an added advantage, have turned out to be the major reason. Now some share both aims with knowledge 50/50, while some focus only on one side. We are all not excluded from it.

My aim and priority for being a member of Bitcoin forum is to share the little idea I have and also to learn more and I have really seen the benefits of being a member and that's because I have learnt alot from different platforms people sharing their ideas and opinions and it creates room for fast learning
It is cool that your aim is purely for knowledge. As you said you want to learn and share ideas among the forum members. Honestly, I rarely saw a forum member that focuses on learning only. Mostly, the forum members expect to gain money from bounties, signature campaigns, any many other things. Well, I just hope you can consistent with your priority in this forum. Anyway, why you want to focus on learning? Do you want to be a professional trader or a great investor? I suggest you learn both of them. Focusing on trading or investing only isn't wrong, but it will be better of you master all of them.

Everyone has their own reason of being here but from my experience in the forum, 98% is for the campaigns, 1% of the users in the forum are to educate others only and invest in bitcoin and the remaining 1% of users are neutral. They are in campaign but it is not because of the campaign they are here but just for the social interaction. They have joy when interacting with others. Though they are in campaigns to busy themselves in the continue interaction. The way they are interacting with people in their various social media platforms is the same way they are interacting with people here so they don't have any problems with other. If you didn't take their opinion, they move on.

Most people would come here and claiming to learn bitcoin but they end up with other things.

First of all I have joined the forum to learn and gain basic information. Enough information that will enable me speak comfortably about Bitcoin. Information of how the forum works, all the rules and regulations that guide the forum, learn simple tricks that has worked for people who has excelled greatly, as well as to grow in the forum with time.
Secondly, the aim of every learner is to grow one day and apply all that he has learnt into a productive fruit that will give returns so after this learning process I hope to also get earnings from the forum. Earnings that will be enough to take care of bills and funds that will be enough to take care of other necessary needs.
Thirdly, it is of most importance that after learning and earning I invest part of this earnings that will generate more funds overtime.

I have considered if this is the right board to post this but I almost had it on the Meta section. Pardon me if I am wrong here.
If I must proceed, I just needed to get some users here especially the beginners of this bitcointalk forum members understand the socio-economy benefits of being here.
While some newbies has requested to be guided on how to make money as a priority of being in the forum, some higher rank users has also complained about the lack of campaigns in the forum which is being boring.
I don't know the aim of other persons for being here in the first place but to me, I am here to explore on my bitcoin journey basically on how I can learn about purchasing and accumulating of bitcoins as my asset on the ways of making profits and how I can also keep my funds safe from scammers.
Along the lines I am also opportuned to acquiring some potential knowledges which is helping me to explore off the crypto space since it is adviced not to rely our incomes in just one basket in that case we should have alternative source of income to enable our bitcoin assets stay enough time for the benefits of making profits.
This forum has also benefited me on building a conducive social lifestyles which I am exploring to attain great prospects.
I am just on the saying that aside joining the forums payable projects such as campaigns and the airdrops and all that, we can still explore and achieve greatly if we can actually put to practice the exercises of discussions in the forum.

Sorry all, I would like to ask, what is your priority/aim of being in the bitcointalk forum in the first place?
If we want to be honest, our goal in bitcointalk is not only to gain knowledge about bitcoin, but also how we can obtain bitcoin itself, or in other words, to increase our crypto assets and improve our finances
because we consider bitcoin as a hobby, so what's wrong if a hobby can become our income

The first time I joined this, because to learn bitcoin,
what I know is this is the biggest bitcoin forum on the internet

the second is to earn bitcoin,
after knowing that in the forum we can get additional income, such as from campaigns, bounties, airdrops, etc.

That's probably true, and I don't see anything wrong with that because as long as someone is at least contributing something in the forum, they deserve what they are earning from here. Those who don't deserve to earn aren't able to earn anything from this forum. The most lucrative source of income this forum has for most members is the signature campaigns, and we all know it's not easy to get into them these days because campaign managers have become more strict over time.

Bounties and airdrops were good in the past, these days, you can barely get a few bucks from them. I wonder what all these people applying for bounties and doing all those tasks get from these because most of these projects don't even make it to a major exchange, so it's mostly all just a waste of time.

About the knowledge part, I think when we post and share what we know, we also read what others have written, and somehow, we still get knowledge even if we don't specifically aim for it.

Not your keys, not your coins!
The fact is that any newbie who is eager to make money when he joins the forum newly was introduced here to make money and not to learn what is being taught in the forum, and for this those are the people who are finding it very difficult to make even make money from the forum because they don’t want to learn, and even if you are here to make money, you must learn before you can grow in the forum.
There are many reasons to join and start in the forum, but if you are a person who are ready to learn, curious with knowledge, and have good attitude, intention to contribute to discussions and forum community, you will rank up through your good contributions, quality posts, and will have better chances than others to join best campaigns in the forum.

You can join forum because of money, like a money hunter, and start as a spammer, but if you improve yourself to become a quality poster, forum community will not be against you and your good contributions.

However, the high-rank members you are saying must be only a very small number of people that will do that; the reason is that many high-rank members you see here are in this forum even before they start the signature campaign, and that is why I’m surprised when you say some high-rank members are complaining. Why will they complain? They won’t do that.

Well beyond falsehoods, I do value every other aspects of the forum too. but honestly my first priority was and will be earnings from here, because as an independent student I would fullfil all my expenses  by myself, and that's why I do join forum firstly as a bounty hunter which most of current user does , and then with passage of time my attention shifted toward rank progression and gaining essential knowledge to survive in signature field cycle and also to securing a steady income to filled tuition fees.
But at a same time it's truly a onestop hub for learning & growth in the cryptocurrency space, where every crypto enthusiast can filled his knowledge scale from top to bottom regarding every aspect like mining, Bitcoin & alts, market, investment and so on.
