I have considered if this is the right board to post this but I almost had it on the Meta section. Pardon me if I am wrong here.
If I must proceed, I just needed to get some users here especially the beginners of this bitcointalk forum members understand the socio-economy benefits of being here.
While some newbies has requested to be guided on how to make money as a priority of being in the forum, some higher rank users has also complained about the lack of campaigns in the forum which is being boring.
I don't know the aim of other persons for being here in the first place but to me, I am here to explore on my bitcoin journey basically on how I can learn about purchasing and accumulating of bitcoins as my asset on the ways of making profits and how I can also keep my funds safe from scammers.
Along the lines I am also opportuned to acquiring some potential knowledges which is helping me to explore off the crypto space since it is adviced not to rely our incomes in just one basket in that case we should have alternative source of income to enable our bitcoin assets stay enough time for the benefits of making profits.
This forum has also benefited me on building a conducive social lifestyles which I am exploring to attain great prospects.
I am just on the saying that aside joining the forums payable projects such as campaigns and the airdrops and all that, we can still explore and achieve greatly if we can actually put to practice the exercises of discussions in the forum.

Sorry all, I would like to ask, what is your priority/aim of being in the bitcointalk forum in the first place?

I noticed a friend speak Bitcoin & crypto related language and terms, showing great knowledge of it. I wondered, trying to find out what was his source of knowledge, the he mentioned Bitcointalk forum. Thus, I didn't hesitate to join the forum..

I came here with the sole aim of gathering knowledge about Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency and secondly, to earn either by joining campaign projects when I rank up or through trading and acquiring of Bitcoin bit by bit which gives me great profit at a long run..

Reading all of these responses made me chuckle.
Yeah, sure, in 2013 we were here to learn something, but nowadays, 99% of people here are for the money.
Be it bounties, aidrops, campaigns or just tips on a good deal, it's all about the moolah

My aim of being here is to explore everything about cryptocurrency. Being in this Bitcointalk forum was the best thing that have ever happen to me, because I have gained many knowledge about Bitcoin investment. One thing I always like about this Bitcointalk forum is that, we keep on learning different things everyday. which have really helped me to be more conscious both in the forum here, and aside the forum.

I strongly believe that everyone's priority/ aim is meant to be how we can be educated on how bitcoin investment works not only bitcoin investment but crypto investment entirely by bringing our opinion/ ideas on how to go about it, This is supposed to be everyone's priority/aim just as the name may imply (bitcointalk). though their are some people whose intension is also to make money in the forum, actually I think is just the same thing. Moreover, if you have the intension of learning to know the strategies to take when making investment and also understanding the market very well of course probably after getting all the necessary information about crypto investment you can still start making investment and also making profit from your investment, as Long as you're also earning from there is just the same thing.

The financial incentive played a big role in encouraging people to continue posting in the forum, which is one of Bitcointalk's great features. It is a long-standing forum with a history in the digital world. It prompted project owners to use it to market their brands with this effective strategy within the crypto community.
Unfortunately, some people deny this fact. As I said previously, I wouldn't spend that much time on the forum if there were no signature campaigns. Probably I would come to the forum, read some posts, and reply only if I am too interested to write a reply. Or sometimes create a thread to share my opinions and experiences. I would spend more time where I could make some money.

Since the forum is allowing me to make some money just by writing regular stuff that I do online, why not spend more time on the forum? Probably I would have spent this free time on Facebook and looking at stupid reels. But I am glad I can make some money from the forum. So, no matter if some people disagree.
Yes, regardless of the reason for spending time on forums, the underlying point of it all is the money factor. Every user who is still advertising a signature campaign will always be active on the forum almost every day, but the situation is different for users whose signature space is still empty. Actually, being active in the forum by replying to several comments is also very necessary even if you are not advertising anything. By contributing to the forum through comments or just answering other users' questions, you will increase your chances of being accepted in a new campaign.

Well in as much as you are right by saying the underlying point of it all is money I would also want to say that not all member I mean everyone that has that intention because I have seen few people who doesn't give a shit about the signature campaign and sometimes I use to ask myself what exactly are they doing and one of the people I am talking about is JayJuanGee, and I have also learnt alot from his post and also how to go about my investment though my initial plan was to make money and also learn and not only by joining campaign but also  by knowing how to go about my investment and look for coin with a great potential instead of investing in random coin that will make my BP to rise again and again. And I have actually learnt a lot from other good poster and of course I'm aware of so many things now.

This is common things happening since for people who's not on campaign there would be no pressure for them to reach their quotas. Compare to those people who are in campaign where they need to post specific numbers per day so that they can achieve to get their minimum or maximum post count needed to get paid from their campaigns.

But still appreciate those people continue to post despite of them not having a campaign since that means they are not really into money since they could still able to post and just wait for opportunity to join again if there's new campaign opens. Since there are some users who just came here if they have campaigns then immediately quit posting in forum if they cannot get something from here.
Not everyone comes to the forum with a certain intention. Some come to learn and some come to participate in campaigns. But most of the people who come to the forum seem to come to participate in the campaign. Those who do not participate in campaigns are the most reputable members of the forum.  Also, I noticed that most of the members who don't participate in the campaign don't stay on the forum for long. Of course there is a reason that when participating in a campaign there are certain rules and regulations that the campaign has to follow and post.

But I was happy to see that there are some free campaigns in which they are participating and they are posting regularly, although there is no requirement to post, they will post as much as they can, but this is really good because everyone is promoting them for free.

there are some users who stay active everyday because of the paid signature campaigns they are into they always post to meet it their weekly target in order to the paid by the signature campaigns such users will find it difficult to continue to posting the way they do it they are out of signature campaigns but there are users who are here not just because of the signature campaigns but because of the discussion and interaction that is going on here everyday they see the signature campaigns as a bonus so they will keep doing their things whether or not they are in campaign. This is all about the individual and the decision they have made before coming to the forum.

The financial reward may not be of great value to someone residing in Western countries, but it was a positive psychollogical factor for them. Frankly, even if this financial incentive is not present, there are moral incentives, such as learning, gaining experience, correcting mistakes, and personal development, that any member, whether old or new, acquires from high value posts and threads. This is something invaluable and goes beyond mere financial incentives.

This forum has greatly enriched all those involved in the crypto arena,,which was created by Satoshi and even the early Bitcoin developers who participated in it, which makes the goal of any person to engage and join to post, learn, and document their contributions in this giant archive.

So you mean people wearing signature codes on the forum, their main aim of joining the forum is not for the sake of learning or teaching other people? If there is no signature campaigns on the forum, am sure some people that are posting currently will still keep on posting irrespective of if their is payment or not, and I don’t see anything bad in learning or teaching and earning, so don’t think everyone wearing signature campaign code will stop posting immediately their is no signature campaigns.

I did not said they will stop posting immediately if they are not in paid campaigns. But I believe most of them won't write four five posts in a day. I often check profiles that are not in signature campaign right now but they used to wear signature. Most of them write five to ten posts a week. If you check the service board, you will notice some people participating in free signature campaigns like Bitlist. But, they aren't posting much. They are here on the forum and applying in new signature campaigns. I know there are some forum members like Timelord who spend a lot of time on forum and does not wear paid signature. They are exceptional.

You are right and I agree with you, there are some users who stay active everyday because of the paid signature campaigns they are into they always post to meet it their weekly target in order to the paid by the signature campaigns such users will find it difficult to continue to posting the way they do it they are out of signature campaigns but there are users who are here not just because of the signature campaigns but because of the discussion and interaction that is going on here everyday they see the signature campaigns as a bonus so they will keep doing their things whether or not they are in campaign. There are members who post a lot but don't join any signature campaign like JayJuanGee, phillipma, and they don't need a signature campaign with post quota for payments to make their posts.

There are also other members who don't post to hit their post quota even they are in signature campaign. In the past, many ChipMixer campaign participants didn't mind to reach weekly post quota.

I agree with you that most of forum members are opposite with two above categories, they are more active when in a campaign and less active or inactive when there is no campaign. Some CM participants turned to inactive or left the forum after that campaign stopped and mixers banned in the forum.

BTC, a coin of today and tomorrow.
Different people are here for different purposes;
  • A few are here to learn
  • Majority are here to earn
  • Some are here to scam
  • Some others are here for business
  • Some to promote their services or projects
  • Some early adopters are still here to teach
Different people with different reasons.

But if someone wearing a signature says their main priority is to learn about Bitcoin and help others, I am not going to believe them. If you check some forum profiles that do not wear signatures at this moment but used to participate in campaigns, you will see they do not even write ten posts a week.

I know the majority of people in campaigns are doing it for the sake of money, but if they don't learn or share their own ideas, they won’t be able to rank up their account, and they won’t be able to participate in signature campaigns.

I know people that are posting on the forum without wearing any signature code or applying for signature campaigns are doing it just because they want to learn, or they want to pass the knowledge that they have to others, but I will say some people in signature campaigns main purpose of joining the forum is just because they want to learn, and they see that there is an opportunity to earn, and they decide to participate.

Sorry all, I would like to ask, what is your priority/aim of being in the bitcointalk forum in the first place?
I have always love to get involved in the crypto hole and I found this forum as an avenue to learn. Top priority in this forum has been to get knowledge on the hottest trends, news, gist about bitcoin and other cryptos. Apart from the Bitcoin board, I have seen other boards like economy, local and others that I have also gotten one or two information from on the work, finance, the economy. I like the trading board despite not being a full trader there are many helpful tips that in the future when I decide to go into trading full time will be very useful.

I have seen this forum as a place that where I always love to give my opinion about an even and learn from others as well. I have observed that some people take this forum for earning which I don't think is wrong because that is that motive. By also being on the forum and participating to adding to its growth you can earn too not from just signature campaigns but from rending a service.

You see these names: Bitcoin, Cryptocurrency, Blockchain technology, and the likes of then are words I admire because of it fast growing vigor. When you hear BTC, what first comes to your mind? As a novice, whenever I hear BTC, i see a big network that only God knows how it operates. So when I heard a brother discussing about Bitcoin, and the Bitcoin forum, I quickly developed interest and found my way here.

Indeed, all he said about the rich knowledge of Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency shared in the forum is no fallacy. Enough to read and learn from. Many more knowledge to be gained about the crypto world. Even though I have not gotten it all as a newbie, but the little I know now makes me happy to be part of this community. And then finally, as time goes on, as I keep growing, I also hope that the rich knowledge about Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency will enable me earn too..

Reason why I came here is I want to learn related to crypto or the bitcoin itself It answers my questions throughout my journey and of course, shares a lot of ideas, knowledge, and skills I've gained through the years I came here, and also of course the other possible source of income we know how does the crypto can potentially give an earning from the play to earn, nft, altcoins, degens and of course bitcoin investment and trading, so I become thankful too because it helps a lot to my journey in crypto space. Even with the help of a signature campaign for my daily needs and expenses. Now one of my next move is to make an innovative project that could be personal yet.

The main purpose of joining this forum is to increase knowledge about Bitcoin in general, but the forum not only provides valid information about Bitcoin but there are many other bonuses that can be obtained depending on the skills and knowledge possessed. In addition to helping in the process of learning about Bitcoin, I can also earn money here through signature campaigns and most members fill their profile space with their signature codes from different campaigns. After several years of working here, I have gained a lot of knowledge and benefits in investment, besides that I also get bonuses from the signature campaign that I am currently advertising.

The socio-economy benefits of Bitcointalk forum;
1.Learning about Bitcoin and the crypto ecosystem.
2.Earning from signature campaigns.
3.Updated crypto scam alert.
Personally,my aim for joining Bitcointalk forum is to enhance my knowledge on Bitcoin and cryptocurrency and also to explore the blockchain network.I joined this forum this year and before I got registered on Bitcointalk forum I had little knowledge about Bitcoin but it wasn't sufficient enough,I could remember I created a topic on my knowledge on Bitcoin. This forum has help to broaden my knowledge on Bitcoin and if you're a newbie that knows nothing about Bitcoin this platform is the best platform to teach you the basic knowledge of Bitcoin. There are other platforms that can expose you to Bitcoin and crypto but not as best as Bitcointalk, those platforms make more emphasis on the price movement of Bitcoin and other tokens for instance Twitter, Bitcointalk is the best educative platform on Bitcoin.
I feel sorry for those newbies that have the aim of joining Bitcointalk forum and participate on signature campaigns overnight with a newbie rank lol Cheesy, they shouldn't forget nothing comes so easy without consistency and hardwork.Even Bitcoin isn't a get quick rich scheme in terms of investing long term is more profitable while in trading the fundamental knowledge is required to be an expert in trading,if all these are required how much more a forum where Bitcoin is discussed.
