Someone who're not here for money should able to post with the same frequency regardless they get paid or not.

Yeah. I know some people like that. They write regularly on the forum and do not even wear signatures. Some of them even spend hours and hours on the forum writing long posts. I consider them as genuine and dedicated to the forum. If they say they are here purely to learn and teach others, I wouldn't have any problem believing their statement.

But if someone wearing a signature says their main priority is to learn about Bitcoin and help others, I am not going to believe them. If you check some forum profiles that do not wear signatures at this moment but used to participate in campaigns, you will see they do not even write ten posts a week.

Sorry all, I would like to ask, what is your priority/aim of being in the bitcointalk forum in the first place?
Contribute, learn, earn. I learnt about bitcoin forum from a friend, I could remember creating a topic talking about my interest concerning bitcoin knowledge also learning the necessity education relating to bitcoin. Along side learning I got the chance to understand and add little contributions while reading. Questions like this seem common but it’s understandable because different reasons will be mentioned, it’s left for op to focus on learning since it’s the major interest. It’s so simple to say the forum has enlightened my knowledge differentiating a scam practice from genuine practice associated with cryptocurrency, sincerely speaking it takes more than a month to understand about bitcoin in general but with the help of continuous research and different ideas makes things look easier although bitcoin knowledge is so broad that’s why time is needed.

Fuck 'em, bros!

I am here to make money. I joined this forum and learned a lot about crypto. I was doing bounty at the beginning. I also planned to be a bounty campaign manager and ran a campaign. But later, I was not very active. I came to this forum to make some money and learn simultaneously. If I say I wanted to learn only and had no plan to make money, that would be a lie. Currently, I am writing posts actively because I am getting paid for it. I am sure I wouldn't be there and write 3-4 posts daily without money. I would probably spend more time reading instead of writing.
That's true.

I think we can divide in two things, one is when you don't know Bitcointalk and another one is when you already know Bitcointalk. I didn't know if this forum can be a source to make money, so my priority is to learn Bitcoin. But, after I know we can earn from participating in a campaign, now my priority is to make money.

Someone who're not here for money should able to post with the same frequency regardless they get paid or not.

The great city of God 🔥
Initially I knew about bitcoin before coming to Bitcointalk but not as knowledgeable as I am today. This Forum has helped to shape and reshape my knowledge. I wouldn't deny the fact that the BTC earning also brought me too.
The forum has help me improve in reading and writing skill , researching, educating newbies according to my capability and has also increased my knowledge about bitcoin. Bitcointalk is one of the best place to be. it is more of a home to me because each time I wake I will like to see new topics I can contribute. I can't even emagine staying a whole day without participating here.

My priority is to learn and educate the younger generation about the importance of investing in bitcoin and the importance of also securing it and to fulfill Satoshi Nakamoto's dream. Because accumulating bitcoin without taken prerequisite measures is more or less not investing atol, in regards to hackers. Because if surely a person invested without securing his seed phrase, all his Bitcoin HODLings may be hijacked by hackers. I believe in the slogan " not your key 🗝️ not your coin"

So yhh basically I'm here to acquire more knowledge abd experience from people who have been in the game longer than I have and hopefully be of help to the forum in return
This is also my priority when I joined the forum years ago but along the way, I realized that you could learn, while earning and at the same time, contribute to the forum in different ways.

For me, there are 3 things why people are here in the forum.
1. They want to learn anything about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. We know that there are some platforms out there where you can learn about cryptocurrency like YouTube, but for me, this forum has helped me a lot when I'm a newbie. It helped me with the knowledge that will help me.
2. They want to contribute to the forum. There are experts here that are willing to help the forum in different ways. There are some that are helping other people in the technical section, there are some who are helping to make the forum even better, there are some who are reporting spam to make the forum cleaner, there are some who are just sharing their knowledge because... they want to contribute.
3. They want to earn. Let's not be hypocrite about this one and we know that we have an opportunity to earn in the forum. Smiley There's nothing bad if users are here just to earn and we can't blame them after all.

My aim? All 3 that I said. Cheesy

Well let me just summarise it
I didn't actually join the forum for a noble course like some other members here I was duped recently of some of my cryptocurrencies so a friend of mine advised me to join the forum and told me that if I had asked questions on the forum before engaging in some of those activities I would have been able to avoid being scammed
So yhh basically I'm here to acquire more knowledge abd experience from people who have been in the game longer than I have and hopefully be of help to the forum in return

Sorry all, I would like to ask, what is your priority/aim of being in the bitcointalk forum in the first place?

Getting the right exposure and gaining the right knowledge about bitcoin and its technology from the forum created by the inventor of bitcoin itself. Learning from this forum about bitcoin has been a great one for me and it has helped a lot in my journey about what bitcoin is and the very big advantages it has over other financial institutions. Interacting back in this form with members of like minds is another intriguing thing in this forum. Giving back to the forum that built you into the crypto space is the best thing you can do for them. And I’m glad I’m able to with the little I’ve learnt from here through those that know more than me from the start.

Bitcoin Casino Est. 2013

Everyone has his own priority of been here, but for me am hear purposely to have a lot of knowledge about bitcoin and also have some trend information who you can all find here. This will not help you to understand bitcoin in a simple way only but also make you to hBe the confidence of explaining some vital things about bitcoin to others that have less knowledge or knows nothing about bitcoin.

At first before i know about bitcoin talk, I always get my information in some interest browsers, which sometimes I    Find it difficult to understand. But when I was introduced to this great forum all my perceptive about bitcoin changes completely. That is what i fully know what bitcoin entails in detail without a lot of stress like before, the most encouraging part of it is that everything is always in detail. I will say it ones again bitcointalk is the real deal.
Well, getting information here in the forum is not very hard and you can ask questions here but that's not enough in my opinion. You have to learn doing your own research and ask questions here if you have something you find it hard to understand. Anyway, some people are here because of a different aim or priority like joining bounties and such. The main focus should be doing your own research and then ask questions here in the forum. It seems you have another aim just like everyone else.

I would say some members here likely do prioritize earning money.  If someone has a paid ad in their signature, earning coins is obviously important to them - and thats fine! We all have different motivations for being part of this community.  As long as youre contributing good stuff and not just spamming, I dont think there is anything wrong with admitting you want to make a few bucks.  But even though money matters to some people, there are definitely plenty of members who care about other goals too not just padding their wallets. At the end of the day, we all get something different out of participating.

I read some of the replies and some of them are for sure lying. lol. I would be lying if I said that earning here isn't my top priority on Bitcointalk. I'm here to make/earn money and that's my really main goal right now. But of course I also want to learn, make friends, and enjoy myself, like joining contests and tournaments that you can only find or experience here on bitcointalk. You can find contest outside the forum but you don't know what is the legitimate, here you can easily spot if the contest if is fake or not.

Priorities differ. Many may have joined this forum with the intention of making money, but along the line got captivated with the amount of valid information they are getting from here. The knowledge they are getting here may have helped them in the real world, we never can tell. So, if they say learning here is their top priority in bitcointalk, it doesn't change the fact that the money they are earning here from signature campaigns is an added benefit. Who doesn't like good things? Huh

My top priority here is to learn and earn. If I don't learn, how will I at least be able to join conversations and make that money from bitcointalk. My life doesn't end here, I can boast of how mentally sound I have become since I joined this forum. There are indeed geniuses here, even if there are no campaigns, I'll still be around.

Let's try to be honest with ourselves. Aside from the fact that we get to learn - I mean, that is part of the journey, a lot of people got on this platform, including myself, when we heard about the fact that it has potential benefits. But you have to build your account to be able to earn from campaigns that pop up. Hence, you join the forum with patience and consistency, building your account, learning, and contributing. Also, learning to shape your journey in the Bitcoin industry, and help you make better investment choices.

I'd be lying if I said I don't like the fact that I can earn money from this forum for my participation and contributions that might or might not make a difference for the forum as a whole, I love it! But, I'd be honest that I didn't know this forum had opportunities like these when I first joined. I wasn't told by someone that there is a forum where you can earn money if you grow your account and I rushed into it, created an account, and started looking for ways to grow my account. In fact, when I joined (on the 22nd of January 2017) the forum, the merit system was still not introduced because the system was implemented on the 24th of January, 2018, almost after one year from when I joined the forum. So, it wasn't even that difficult ranking up at that time.

I came to know about the signature campaigns after surfing the forum for some time, and it was surprising for me because the concept was new, I had never seen a forum where users got paid for wearing a signature and making posts. It was intriguing, and I surely wanted to be a part of one, but that was surely not my primary purpose for joining the forum.

I stumbled upon this forum when conducting my research on Bitcoin, reading through the resources, and trying to find as much information and knowledge as possible. And to be totally honest, though some people might not believe it and say that I'm overacting and this can't be true, I love this forum way more than social media platforms. I know it isn't as appealing visually as them or isn't as interactive as them, but I still think it is more fun reading and making posts, interacting with other members, participating in conversations and campaigns, and everything else that we normally do in this forum than watching visuals on different social media platforms.

Just as you know that this forum is a very large community,

And when we're talking about community we mean multitude, so this forum was made for we crypto/ bitcoin enthusiast to come together interact with one another . And same time  to acquire more knowledge on how bitcoin/cryptocurrency works .

Due to the fact that there alot of knowledgeable users here that's why is possible for us to acquire the knowledge we looking for and how to expand it also .

I am here to explore on my bitcoin journey basically on how I can learn about purchasing and accumulating of bitcoins as my asset on the ways of making profits and how I can also keep my funds safe from scammers.
Along the lines I am also opportuned to acquiring some potential knowledges which is helping me to explore off the crypto space since it is adviced not to rely our incomes in just one basket in that case we should have alternative source of income to enable our bitcoin assets stay enough time for the benefits of making profits.

Hope you keep to this , because this is the right mindset. To focus on acquiring more knowledge inorder to secure a long and smooth investment in bitcoin.  Know one thing is for sure you're in the right place ,just make sure you always make use of the search icon.

I know, right? Like reading the comments, too, I got the same vibe - why are people lying? I'm not saying everybody is lying, but the majority is. People are saying to learn about Bitcoin, to expand my knowledge, share my knowledge blah, so nobody wants to earn from the forum. If somebody just woke up and told you, 'Oh, there's this Bitcoin forum; all you have to do is read about Bitcoin, learn, and contribute there and go,' would you be here? Won't you reply I'll browse about Bitcoin online.

Let's try to be honest with ourselves. Aside from the fact that we get to learn - I mean, that is part of the journey, a lot of people got on this platform, including myself, when we heard about the fact that it has potential benefits. Also, learning to shape your journey in the Bitcoin industry, and help you make better investment choices.

If you're into gambling, learn how to gamble responsibly. Learn new techniques or get to know new things in the Bitcoin and gambling world that you don't know. But your motivation, initially, is that you can earn with time as you go. You just need to build your account; you just need to be open-minded to learning and growing. I do appreciate your sincerity - straight up, to earn. But then you can't earn without learning and growing. So a lot of people just saying 'learn, grow, learn, grow' without putting the earn, I'm like, can we be truthful with ourselves? So yes, learn, grow, and earn.

Fine by Time
Nothing new I want to say here that has not been said before by another user. But I have benefited in so many ways from the forum. Ways I never thought would be possible. I have learned about different lifestyles and changed my perspective on economics, management systems, investment, and so many others. Funny enough I have engaged in lucky raffle draws and won some tickets. I got my first Ann thread design job from the forum. Aside from all these being said, my priority in the forum is to continue learning whatever I come across. The knowledge will still remain with me till I get old.

Mine is to learn about bitcoin and how it could be well applied to my personal financial lifestyle, i need privacy and also want to be in charge of my finances and the only best way of achieving this is by adopting for the use of bitcoin, i can only have more than enough information, updates and other related ideas and discussions about bitcoin here, in other words, i will say that my objective for joining is still in line with the general intention for the creation of this platform by Satoshi, to engage members on bitcoin discussions.

As someone who has zero knowledge on cryptocurrency and Bitcoin investment, finding out about the forum it became an opportunity for me to learn everything I ever wanted to know about Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency, knowing how to trade was what triggered me to join the platform but coming here I realized that there is a whole lot more i can learn, unlearn and relearn which I have been doing since the past two years of joining the forum.

I have increased my knowledge of trading, Bitcoin investment and some general information about life, how to communicate with different types of people and how not to take things too personal. The forum has made me to realize once again that knowledge is power.
