I dont have quitting point or selling point for my bitcoins, I like to have them and I hope I will always have some. I sell when I need money, when I need to buy something, but I have my stash too. When price blow the sky I will still have some, I will sell some, but end game is that I will able to use my bitcoins one day for real, like I will go to and buy some nice car with 0.01 btc? Sounds nice, well maybe one day we will see bitcoin price so high that nice car will cost 0.01 btc and people can buy them directly with bitcoins.

I agree with this, and in my own opinion quitting or setting a certain limit is like stopping yourself to obtain better opportunities in the future. Whenever I heard some negative opinions and thought about Bitcoin I just look into its history, how it dump and eventually fluctuate in the most unexpected price which gives me optimism and hope for me to continue and strive hard for earning, I have lost my money before, and that is because of the wrong decisions that I have take. If you don't want to lose most of your money, then part an enough allocation of your money to Bitcoin which you will store into your wallet and recently I have discover    Darb which is an exchange that allows me to convert my assets into another useful assets that I used whenever I get a chance to engage in Bitcoin, and it also allows me to experience a faster way of making transactions.

What is your opinion about this? My thought about quitting never happened but if the price goes under four digits then I might be reconsidering.

Yeah, thats quite reasonable quiting when bitcoin goes to 3 digits, but for me when its come to that point I actually take advantage for that I invest more on that instead of quitting because I believe no matter how many hard fork appear it should be a bounce back after that.

I have never thought of quitting this market as long as its still working and keeps on developing. But to be honest, I'd like to cash out quite good amount during 5-6 digits. I'd like to pay for a cruise and want to treat myself on a vacation. Actually as much as possible I've dedicated myself to this market won't leave as soon as possible. I'd like to stay as if this is already my life, crypto's the future and people would go crazy on it when they actually see the mass adoption and once the value goes tremendous.

I believe that bitcoin can overcome all kinds of price declines and will eventually recover in due time so there is no quit point for me. When price accumulation comes, i will going to buy coins instead because their prices are lower. At present time, the price of the bitcoin rose to $5500 in recent days and this proved that the bitcoin will always recover from a bearish condition that lasted for a year.

for now I might only hold the bitcoin that I have. we know that the current price is quite low, however, I think the end of the year will be something very important. at this point, I will only hold the assets that I have, and try to collect as much as possible.
Much better for believers like you to continue to seek what you've believin in, I also doing things like this, saving bitcoin instead of thinking of quitting, as time will passed and things will start to be good again, the cycle will continue if you stay much longer, finding the end point might be easy for gainers who's been around for  quite some time, keep investing and wait for the outcome, still have a lots of improvements to happen along the way.

Bitcoin having a low price is not an exit point, it is actually the opposite to me. It is accumulation time whenever bitcoin hits a low price. There is no point quitting when you know the true value of bitcoin if multiple times the current price. I have been holding for so long, it is already not practical to quit.
Indeed. As long as you have the money for your needs and wants, and your investment in Bitcoin is just your extra money then it's not too ambitious if we're going to sell it at its ATH. I don't think it's a bad decision to sell for ATH as reaching it has more probability to go down after due to resistance of the market.

Technically, taking the action with unreasonable deliberation willl lead you to gain loses. The current value of bitcoin may shown rapid growth a huge tendency of bountiful future will occur in the near future. But if you are certain to what you have deliberated, then it is probably appropriable way to earn profits on your own decisionp.

Invest in something must use money that really free, and it means we wouldn't use it for anything except in urgent situation. With that, like what you said we wouldn't really forced to sell it when it is make little profit for us. And if ATH can reached and we can take that advantage.

As a trader, of course you should to have an exit point dude? although the price will rise again in future time, but of course it takes time. and traders don't have a lot of time to hold on, because they have to keep earning, the choice is to keep holding or cutlose. and traders have to dare to cutlose, when the exitpoint has arrived

We should not really worry about the fluctuation in price now, since they are not traders, the best quitting time should be when the ATH of BTC has been reached.

I think this is the most common and expected answer from many people, but do you know when this will happen? Have you ever thought, why do people have to think so hard about a problem?. Because, "Thinking will help you sharpen the sharpness of the brain."

The method and way of thinking of each investor are usually different from the way others think which means that everyone's mindset is not exact the same. I will personally look for an exit point when the price rises even though it is only a few%, for example 20 to 30%. When the price drops I will go back in and buy, and sell it again when there's an increase. By looking for profits like this, then how to make a profit will be more effective.

The price is now sitting at 5k+ usd and 3k or below is not far enough which means there is still a possibility that bitcoins value can fall on the said price but even if the price go down harder i have no choice than to stay because this is where i earn  . i dont invest nor trade but im only a worker i earn bitcoin and i can sell my bitcoin at any price in order to earn a profit  .  and if ever the value drops dramatically , im pretty sure that it can recover again quickly because investors are only waiting for a major dip before they buy in a massive amount  .
Yours is understandable because you are a salary earner and the purpose for which you are being paid is for the work you have done, and you can take you money at any time, but for investors, I don’t think it will be the right time to quit now, we might assume that the market will fall and it will take another turn.

We should not really worry about the fluctuation in price now, since they are not traders, the best quitting time should be when the ATH of BTC has been reached. I believe that the price of BTC may not fall again because at every little dip, there is always a standby bull that will invest and support the market back.

Lol those quitters cannot consider as bitcoin investors and what they are is just a people that only wanted to take some profit and go away

I will never consider myself quitter because I’ll stand by my bitcoins until it pours all the value and returns into 0 value(though i know this will never happen)I believe in the future of cryptocurrency and most specially bitcoin

That is the reality.  Why should someone quit because bitcoin is having the lowest price?  I think when the price is down we seriously have an opportunity to buy and make fortune when it rise again.  We should not quit at any low price but quit when we know we cannot afford to invest again.

If eventually the market value of Bitcoin drop below $3000 which is not likely to happen base in the current market trend I will not quit rather I will buy more because such level in the market value of Bitcoin is an opportunity to invest more and expect good return in no time.

Unlike the price fall there is promised recovery within specific time period depending upon the market situation. The present market is highly supportive for growth, this give the confirmation of bouncing when drop happens due to corrective factors. I have never come across people leaving cryptocurrency and bitcoin just because it drops low. Unlike its prevailing market I'll continue to use cryptocurrency for my good.

This is the part of the story that sometimes becomes strange to me, right now; I want to believe that only newbies are threatened with any fall in price of BTC, because when BTC price falls, very good investors will see it as an opportunity to enter the market again.

If I am to talk about exit point, it should be for trader and not long term investors, for me, I have my bitcoin stashed in BTC for a long term investment and will be there till God knows when, while I have another part I used to trade in meeting up with my daily needs, that I van say I have exit point, which is when I see profit that is good for me, and then enter back when the price drops.
Lol, newbie indeed, we cannot really blame investors for any decision that they make, we all have our limit and level of patience, we can only encourage them to understand how the market works and never to quit too soon for the sake of their future.

For me, I have quitting point too for altcoins though and not for bitcoin, my quitting point for Bitcoin is probably till BTC reaches an ATH in the future where it becomes stable and cannot be manipulated, while my quitting point for altcoins is every time I see profit in my investment, I take it and quit. BTC is more reliable for future.
