As beginner trader i avoid doing margin trading because i have small chance to make profit from it.  I more focus trade on spot market  and doing day trading.  I never forget to use risk management like use stop loss because actually price of crypto is hard to predict and in some case technical analysis can be does not work.

In this decrease of value of cryptos I usually holds my coins and tokens and but potential coins and tokens in the market since the price is very cheap. Usually we used to see panic sellers nowadays and sell tokens that has a value for them not to loss as they think of. This kind of mindset is too weak as the market is only adjusting since the supply or volume of the coins and tokens are too many as I see and observed.

First of all I'm checking the Relative Strenght Index (RSI) to understand when a movement, both bullish and bearish, is close to its conclusion: a RSI < 15, reasonably, tells us this thing. I'm checking RSI at 1 day of timeframe since lesser timeframes contain noises that could be, and are very often, investor traps. Then, at the same timeframe, I check the Bollinger Bands to have further confirmation of the moviment conclusion: when the candles hit the upper Bollinger often there is a price reversal, and at same time when the candles hit the bottom Bollinger. Then, always at same timeframe, I check the %B index, to check if we are in a situation of "overbought" or "oversold": often there's a price reversal at this 2 points.

the trading strategy I use is to buy cheap and buy when the price drops because of bad news after it sells when the price is expensive, there is no one knows when the cheap price will happen so you need to be patient.

I am an investor and my strategy is simple and solid. Firstly I investigate market and chose an asset and after that I wait a "tasty" price to buy. I work without loan money so I can buy and hold without a fear for a long time. Now I am holding ETH despite of current weak of ETH.
With both approaches you can go for the best results. Definitely you are an investor and you know better than me as you already have been in practical ground. But what I have learnt through studying that one sold be waiting for the price to get down as much as possible. There is nothing like speedy work in trading or investing. You have to be so careful and patient.

I have a strategy, I try to buy coins when the market trend is full down and i buy it for long term holding until the market will not goes my expected rates i don,t sell my coins this is my strategy,
You have very good and profit worthy strategy as price use to increase and decrease but those who are taking advantage of this strategy are real hoers of bitcoin, best choice for earning from bitcoin is buy low and sell high, so I think you first strategy is holding the more you will hold the more price will get high so my own strategy is holding and I will hold as much as possible.

Buy and wait. Though I am in it for the long haul, I don't know how others are here sitting around trying to do their trades on a daily basis. You're wasting time you could be using making more money, and you're probably going to make less then you could if you were to just let the money grow (just like traditional investments)

Technical analys + Fundamental analys. Buy only "hype" tokens. Using resistance and support zones and trends to open my position. Taking profit orders on 25% or 50% or 100% independence lvl of "hype".

So you pretty much just gamble? I don't know why people think TA works, it does nothing, it's like reading tea leaves folks.
TA just for point of entry, price of my take-profits and stop-loses, and analys global picture. Personally it works good, no excellent, but good. I came to the crypto from forex and stock, because i use TA here too.

Of course, I will not tell you my strategy, because I do not need competitors, but I think that most of the reviews on this page can be attributed as useful.
These are the words of a real trader. I thought that such a forum is gone, but you are the only trader who is telling the truth.

Hey guys, I keep thinking what are the most poppular/most efficient trading strategies. Also do you trade on a few specific coins that you just trade on through out the year or not?

I want to ask you to share yours, but of course you don't have to be specific, just say if its e.g. arbitrage, bot/margin trading, buy the dip / hodl, pnd or whatever else. If its somthing other than in the poll just talk about it here or in general feel free to discuss trading strategies.

I personally like to hodl, not sure that can be counted as trading strategy, but wanted to go first.
With a market fluctuating constantly and very difficult to guess as the present time, I believe that at this point you should only trade short term by day. You can see that bitcoin prices are constantly adjusting, which has caused the psychology of investors to panic and fear they have gradually withdrawn from the market this market has reduced the market capitalization. . Bitcoin pricing is so great so you should have specific trade plans to minimize the risk.

I have a mixed strategy in place. I hold coins that are lucrative and have potential to reach higher price in future, and trade coins that are not strong enough.

Hold coins that you have the confidence to it, where to gain the confidence? well, it's up to you whether you see some ICO having some huge partnerships with big companies or their damn future platforms are so revolutionary to rock the market and go to the moon, remember to find those coins/tokens that are worthy for a long-term holding don't just bite those pumping coins without the foundation of the long-term promises.
it can happen to the exact opposite. Either you get an auto planned, or suffer a crash. In any case, before dealing with crypto currency, Everyone should understand that the crypto currency is unpredictable and each user is at risk.

I Am mostly use Bollinger band also i bought coin when it is oversold and sold my coin when it is overbought simple
Easy way out uhn ! The Bollinger band can be useful for swing trading, but not without still having to make some quick decisions in the case where the swings are not just swinging.

Also, with respect to the overbought and over sold conditions, a market can stay in both state for a very long time though, so I hope you always take that into consideration as well. Nevertheless, I make use of divergence and some little bit of trend analysis and that has always helped me in making swing decisions.
