A mixture of my own poor technical analysis, tight stops so I never get rekt, and forming a consensus around the current sentiment of a group of 5-10 traders who I respect. Overall I'm down from trading alts a while ago, but that was a valuable lesson and I'm better off now.

I also am doing the same, playing with ratios and avoid playing with usd right now. You can try it, this will give your mind more time to analyse the coins and understand the value they have between each other, and pattern brake you will notice it. Even if you are a good trader I would avoid selling into usd for now

Has anyone used the same strategy if you are a day trader on doing real stocks, applied it back here on btc?

I`m not a current day trader, but I been learning about a setup called trend line setup. Problem is I dont think the same tools can be applied on these exchanges unless there was something similar built for it like think or swim.

Like drawing lines and stop loss points, and all the other things I need.

just buy low and sell high. very simple.
and on days with high volume trading can be very profitable.

Exactly, there is no other "method" for trading.  This is the only way you can trade and be profitable.

For me, I will split my trade to buy at different time period so that I don't buy all at the same time at the same price. If I execute a trade at 230, I would wait for it to drop further to 210 before putting in another order at the same amount. By doing this, I essentially buying at the average price of 220. Works for me thus far.
averaging in the down trend works perfectly fine, under assumption that the down trend reverses before you are left with empty pockets. Happened to many traders in the gold market, as last bear is already almost 4 year long.

I have noticed the bitcoin price fluctuates from a new high and new low every week or so. The hard part is identifying those little peaks and valleys. Definitely not science, but works for me.

Buy low on a marketplace, then sell it higher on another marketplace. Sometime it will not profitable, due to trade fee and the fee when send/withdraw from the first marketplace to the second marketplace.

This is typical strategy, how do you know when low is low enough and how can you be positive there will be a high? There is a reason people in shares lose money and its considered risky business.
No, this strategy is different. This is using the different price on different marketplace. One is lower, another are higher.

Until a few weeks ago i was the meaning to keep all my coins i had. All the altcoins.
Since about two weeks i'm selling all my altcoins for bitcoins.

I do not save for it. I do it more quickly, 2 days at the latest.
I want to get results every day, though not much.
if after 2 days altcoin not bought, then I cancel it. and look for another altcoin
