It worked fine for a while but then I had a string of something like 15 losses in a row and had to just quit before betting my remaining bankroll. That taught me that there is no betting strategy that will help your odds in dice.

I did not use martingale anymore because I also have a bad experience using that method, it will not work in dice game
due to house edge. Let's not abuse ourselves by believing we have a chance because the reality will always say there is none.

The house edge has nothing to do with martingale 'not working', martingale is also used frequently on roulette and roulette has an even greater house-edge than most dice games.

You're losing with martingale because you don't have an unlimited bankroll and big losing streaks are bound to happen to anyone who plays often enough.

I've tried the martigale betting strategy too and it just doesn't work. It may seem to work but overall the odds stay the same because you will always get long win streaks and long losing streaks the more you play.

The problem is that in the long winning streaks you only gain the small initial bet each time. But in a long losing streak, you double the bet each time so if you get a long streak, the amounts you're losing get very high.

It's not happening with big amount so many times I lost continuously with very low amount too. Gambling is just based on our luck it not depend on bet amount whether it's big or small. Gambling is full of worst memories so I don't want to remember that one.

I feel just like you. Every time I lose it's my worst gambling moment, and the more I lose the worst the moment is.
This means that by analogy, my worst moment in gambling was when I lost the most and as far as I remember it was last year, when I decided to bet on football matches, but I don't play with big money so it wasn't hard to swallow.

My worst time gambling was my very first time, I had never gambled before, and I went to a casino and played blackjack I won the first few hands an had some nice profits then I got overconfident and I lost about 120 dollars that day, to this day, that is my worst lost in a casino and one that I will never forget since I learned some valuable lessons that day.

So doubling your bet, won't it make your gambling more riskier? I know it helps to recover your initial losing bet, but what if you lose your next bet too? You will double it and if you lose again you will have to double it (assuming 50-50% chance). So more riskier than arbitrary betting in my opinion!

I see, but I never experienced bad luck from gambling because I DONT GAMBLE lol. But I have this friend that lost everything that he owned slowly due to gambling. Yes there are people the lose a lot in gambling and they lost everything in it. But that is what most threads here try to avoid and advise people on what to do and not to do in gambling. This thread is one of those examples of what I am talking about.

i think,this is experienced by every gambling player,and for me of course i have been felt this,when playing dice the most,play small amount,and win almost 5 times,but when try bigger amount,i lost more than 5 times,yes it sick,but it not make me stop playing,i think you fell the same huh??

that is what i also have passes from a lot of experience some time lost a lot and not one for one time but for so many times, while other time i also make a good profit. but over all my winning amount is more than my losing amount.
