This thing happened to me, got lucky my $20 becomes $200 then ended up to $40. I know if I continue to risk it, it's either I go home double my money or ended up nothing. Grin

Believe it sometimes such determination pays off at the end of the day. In gambling, there are good days and bad days so if you identify that it is going good for you then why run away too early when you have not started losing. I have of stories of gamblers offline who kept winning in visuals soccer, he won many times than he lost and that made him to be in profit. However, he didn't increase his staking power, he kept it steady and winning which further gave him that relaxed mind and confidence to select the right games to gamble on.

If you walk into a casino with $200 and you start playing with that $200 and you win $200, get the hell out, you simply just doubled your money, take your goddamn leave, what do you think you wanna do? Win a million dollars? You will go home empty handed.

The next thing that rings in your ear is you can still win another or more, that's the devil whipsering, the art of gambling is knowing when to stop.

The only game where you have some power is in Poker, not the online one, this is the best game in casinos, as making profits off of bad players is possible.

It's not bad to take risks but don't have to be greedy while gambling. forsee big wins but also be contended with small ones. If poker is the best game or easy to make a profit, everybody would be poker players. Each gambler has their own special games they are comfortable with and no game could be said to be the best.

No one actually visits the casino to have fun, you gotta trick the mind, I like to think of it has a fun night out and I am going to spend a few hundred dollars and have a good time and if I win it's a bonus, like I've said, you gotta trick the mind.

Always remember this, you are there to win a game where its statistically impossible to win at, it's not impossible to not understand this about gambling, a wise man once said, "if you want to make money with gambling, own a casino".

It is only a fool that will train his mind with the intention of tricking my own self. If I am gambling for money there is no need to deceive myself that I am catching fun. Believe it or not, there are still gamblers who gamble mainly because of the fun. I have also seen gamblers who have had good wins that changed their lives forever. Gambling could be entertaining if you have a budget and only use what you can afford to lose.

Most likely this will not happen because you will gonna be hypnotized by the lights and amusements inside the casino and only you will find out that you really need to go when you lose everything you have. If a person goes there just to double his money or to win big, there are high tendency that he will be back as soon as he loses his initial capital as long as he has the means to do so. He will just simply withdraw some money from his ATM and get back playing until he is no longer able to. Believe it or not, gamblers are the last people to be able to control their mind because of the greed that continue growing in their hearts once they step into the Casino.

Most gamblers can't resist the temptation of a casino whether it's online or brick and mortar, as you said they can't easily walk away from the pleasure of gambling in a brick and mortar casino, the lights and music make them want to stay and keep gambling, it's a very difficult situation for most people to impose some of the restrictions that they brought with them from home.

I hope that if they have exhausted all the money in their wallet in the sense that there is no luck at all then obviously the best thing to do is to force themselves to get out of the casino and go home in tears, don't even think about looking for alternatives to increase the contents of your wallet such as borrowing, because anyone will never know when they will win, so with that alone we should be able to think logically about what should be done in such conditions. In that condition your greed and patience will be tested, yes it is very likely that you will immediately return there with new enthusiasm even though there is basically no guarantee of anything. There is no other way but for you to be more assertive in your self-control and boundaries and basically only you can do it, others will not care about you.

You're exactly right about the "double and dash" method. Grab the cash and run before luck changes its mind. It's like a quick in-and-out task. What about those hints of temptation? Yes, they are real. They're like a sneaky fox in your mind, pushing you to take more risks. This is the thing, though: casinos aren't charities. It's a fact that the house always has the upper hand. What do you think about Poker? Right on! It's more about skill than luck. You have to read people and play the odds. It's a mental duel, a war of wits. You might not win every time, but at least you're not just rolling the dice without knowing what will happen. What a great way to think about gambling nights! Using it as a night out, a few hundred dollars for some exciting entertainment? That is the spirit! The way you think is like a magic trick for your mind. You're paying for the thrill, the atmosphere, the "what if"s, and the prizes, right? An extra bonus. And that quote about owning a casino to make money? This is so true. It's like running a mint, where the house always wins. Remember that it's only a game - the house always wins

There are still people who are playing to have fun, maybe you just haven't met one or your mindset thinks that all gamblers want to make money online, you cannot trick the mind you can only train it to obey you and change its mindset the mind doesn't want to be tricked.
Yep, @OP is like someone who think he's always right and everyone are wrong, so he will not accept other people arguments and using own assumption to make a majority decision.

@OP poker isn't the best game, you could make money from other players, but don't forget not every people can accept losses and they might catch you when you leave the casino. The best game is when you can gamble without anyone disturb you and you have a privacy.

Can you do that without thinking that you can triple or make ten times your bankroll, or thinking that you can recover all your previous losses because you are having a good run, these are what hinder gamblers from stopping they don't want to waste the opportunity because they always think it's not every day that you have a chance to recover your losses.

That's not the devil but your mind wanting to recover your losses and wanting to want more.

This is actually true, if you are lucky in the first few hours then get out. As luck wouldn't last for hours in casino, the longer you play the more you are losing. Same as the more greedy you become the more greedier you'll become.

I do also believe in being lucky in the first few hours wherein a casino will let you win multiple times but on the latter part, you'll ended up losing all your winnings. I realized that it happened everytime I tried to continue gambling after 3 wins and In that way, I learned that it's better to stand up and get out once you win up to 3 or more times because you'll know what will going to happen if you decided to bet again all the money that you have.

This is all true but sports betting is different than Roulette. You have so many instances where you can have an edge...

For example NFL, NBA, prime time games, lines that don't make sense and more.

There is skill involved with this and it's not like a Roulette where the next red or black is at the mercy of a ball.

Not exactly, it all depends because that time you are winning may be your lucky session and to maximize it may be a good decision. If in the process of playing then you start dwindling in winning or profit then you can run of with the remaining balance.

I think the point is, as much as we put a budget to how much we want to stake and play for the time we are there, it is not also bad to set a target to how much we are targeting to win since the luck is "shining " on us but we must ensure that we leave as soon as we get to that target because by then all our luck may keep favouring up until that that and who knows the house edge may take over afterwards. So to leave at a targeted profit when we are winning is still good a decision.

We should also build confidence to maximize profit afterall we lose so much on a bad day, why not win so much on a good day until you can run if the loses start to come. Going on to double our gambling budget, we can also maintain the ride to tripple it if there is real possibility for that.

No one actually visits the casino to have fun
How about people that will have $200 to have fun and using just like $0.1 on every game so that the time they are gambling can be prolonged?  Did you know that some people will use the whole $200 at ones and see if they win or not.

The best approach that I have thought of is to use not more than your gambling budget but in a way that all can be lost as long as you can afford to lose it. But after winning, it is good to just quite for the day and not have the fun again.

I also agree when you prolong your session you are also "adding" more chances of a big win as with the lowest amount of bet you will have much more spins than if you used a heavy bet that would make that 200 disappear in an instant and that is something usually only addicted persons do,normal gamblers will not lose money fast, this shows that you are in control when you play with the lowest bet and not the addiction.

When you own a casino like that old wise man said you sure will make money but let me tell you that the fun part is totally out of the way,you can never feel that feeling of hitting the max win, only real gamblers will feel that and as such I prefer to have a fun night with that 200 dollars by playing as long as possible.
