Down times happens, the market is pretty moving in different situation, sometimes bullish, sometimes the opposite.
But, being a holding, you should not be affected with the normal market movement because you believe on what you are holding, you can feel relax in any situation.

There are no guarantees for any altcoin purchased, but I believe that exchange coin have been seen to be very lucrative lately. BNB, which is binance coin rose substantially to give over 300% returns. I would advise you stick to exchange altcoin and any other coin you consider lucrative.

For me i always trist ethereum and i really believe that ethereim is still the best coin to invest this time. If we are going to look at the price of the ethereum we can see that the price os now slowly increasing same with the bitcoin, because ethereum is the mpst trusted coin on the crypto feild. Ethereum is the most popular coin nexr to bitcoin so there would be a great posibility that it's price become double.

Maybe all you guys have forgotten about DASH being the first in its class of privacy coins and has been one of the best Altcoin that has achieved great ROI's since it was listed to exchanges surpassing all those that have been previously mentioned. And also, it has superb development and has a large support base among the crypto community but nevertheless we must practice DYOR first before investing in any kind of cryptocurrency.

Putting your money in a project should be decision made by you, I can't give any investment advice but if you rally wants to invest in long term trading you should be looking at a potential project with already working product like exchange token and some other well established token, you can also pick from top 10 to top 50 on coinmerketcap

Totally agree with you. Because I have a similar set of altcoins in my portfolio. But I would also advise buying Litecoin and EOS. Very promising coins.

I also believe in the future success of both EOS and LTC but these coins will not give us a good return on the investment. Maybe long term investing with huge cash can be a life saver for someone but this is not my cup of tea,

in my opinion litecoin is a good altcoin to save because seeing a good litecoin price movement might be able to form ath in the next year. and I don't recommend ethereum because ethereum has started to be abandoned maybe because of the many fraudsters at ICO make ethereum prices down

it is indeed the best coin in investment because besides having the potential to rise high they are also very competent so investors are not afraid of falling in value.
but must focus more on BTC because if BTC rises first then you get profits quickly and can add your capital to other coins.
