But personally I have chosen ETH, XLM, XRP and NEO to add to BTC as my investments and I am confident that those will give me something reasonable within the next few months. But there are other altcoins that are not yet in CMC but doing wonders too. But they are too dicey though.
Totally agree with you. Because I have a similar set of altcoins in my portfolio. But I would also advise buying Litecoin and EOS. Very promising coins.

It is a real surprise how fast this token managed to get to the top-10. As we can see, it has been still growing - not so fast, but steadily. You can invest in BNB. I also think that Ontology, NEO and OmiseGO are good altcoins.
I think its good to stay on buying potential altcoins like bitcoin and ethereum coin since it is the very volume coin in the market. But there is now that coin showing a good performance and many investors buys it, the BNB coin. It is now highly recommended to invest in it since it has a good value and also a top coin in the coinmarketcap.

Looking at CMC is really a good idea for choosing altcoin to invest and hold for the future but that's not enough because altcoin's position on the top is starting to waver when competitors are growing very strong and want to replace positions. Some altcoin has become obsolete and no longer relevant to the market, from those issues, we should choose altcoin that fits the trend and market development, coin of reputable exchanges is what I feel best right now, their development will be very stable as long as the crypto market still exists at least 50 are big for categorizing good coins.

I see a lot of potential in Cardano, because of their technical and scientific approach. Must be a good bet in long-term.

Don't just focus on projects that are in the top 50 on Coinmarketcap, rather we should research projects that are in active and continuous development and has a thriving community because we all knew that these are the factors that are essential to become a successful project. Maybe you could narrow it down to at least 10 Altcoins to invest with to further diversify your portfolio thus minimizing your investment risks. Imho.
I can't suggest anyone to buy any of coin except Bitcoin. But i am also holding ETH, LTC, XRP, NEO, EOS, XLM, TRX and DGB in my portfolio with bitcoin. I believe these projects can grow with bitcoin.

The top 10 coins already have many large investors or they have a high enough trust because the trading volume is large enough and indeed can be the investment prefix they will want to make a profit. I think the altcoin that is suitable for long and long-term is the king of altcoin, ethereum. Ethereum is currently on the decline and I believe next month's ethereum will go up to $ 200.
ETH is still in the accumulation phase and will definitely rise again in the near future if there are many good news related to this coin. I have invested at $120 and do not need to worry much because I believe that ETH is a good long-term investment to hold and will hold for at least 3 years. I believe that the price of $200 is still too low and my desired price is $700 when the market enters the growth phase so consider investing now because the market will not be able to give you chance again

It is better to do an analysis first if you want to invest, because the advice from each person is certainly different, I also advise you to invest in the top 10 in the CMC because investing in it is safer, BNB is indeed the right choice now and many investors are interested to invest in the BNB

actually the altcoin prefix depends on whether you are interested in top coin or want to look for coins that are still cheap but potentially large, usually in the 100 cmc series because they are still not widely known,
