people will cut when they think how much profit can be take in that time, different with panic sell. the first will calculate every move of bitcoin, they sell to take small or big profit than to gain it back. panic sell, just sell coin when they afraid to loss or cant get profit. they just lack of knowledge or newcomer that never see this situation before.
In my opinion, panic selling is now no longer a habit for cryptocurrency holders, because they know that price fluctuations will occur. Usually, panic sells are carried out by new investors and are not familiar with the ups and downs of cryptocurrencies.

True, in the more than 10 years experience of Bitcoin, the then first time investors were able to profit and able to control themselves and not react to the bear periods. They know that ups and downs occur and that there is no need to panic. Many of these first timers who lost before were able to learn their lessons and be resilient with their investments. Only a few weak hands do happen from time to time, newbies who panics easily.

People always like to be dazzled by impulse. This is common. When people suddenly see negative news about Bitcoin on social platforms or on TV, they often impulsively sell Bitcoin to protect their wealth from fluctuations. , And the chain reaction of this kind of thing is often huge, which will make other holders carry out the same selling!

For me the reason why people panic sell because they are misinformed and make decisions out of irrational fear rather than logic.

Its really sad people freak and pull money out.

The only people who get hurt on a rollercoaster are people who jump off.

Panic sales made by miners certainly have several factors such as a very urgent need, maybe this is where bitcoin can be proven that it is a very good investment, such as selling the most when we need money by selling the bitcoins we have, but when we want to return to the crypto world we can buy back any bitcoin we want, this is where there is a very instant convenience to the bitcoin world that miners are engaged in today

Panic will affect the nervous system, direct psychological impact will be accompanied by hasty decisions, not controlling your own behavior.  Impatience, lack of confidence are the reasons that accompany the panic that shows the failure in this market.  All that happened after that, was guilt and regret

Good point, any decision making that comes from panicking will turned to regret once the market start to bounce back.

Without further knowledge with how the market is really working, you'll find yourself one of those who easily decide when bad situation happened,

you need to work for more and not to just follow your emotion, if possible better to go against that and make a stand from what you believe on.

I think people who have been in the crypto space understand that the value of the crypto always goes up, irrespective of the dips and crashes. The panic sell usually occurs from the people who are new to the market and are not used to the volatility of it.

Most of experienced traders do know the cycle. It's their knowledge that keeps them surviving making decent money from this market.

for me this called Stupidity , why joining investment that you don't totally understand?
it was a stupid move. I'm sure it only happens to some people. because at least everyone is new to the crypto market. they come with an interest or an offer from someone else. at least new people will look for information in advance about what they are going to buy. no fool would want to waste their money on something unknown.

Many of them are not really into trading and the complex stuff. Most of these people started out in NFT and Blockchain games like Axie, and then they learn dealing with crypto the hard way. The sad thing about their experience is that they are already experiencing the high fees of Ethereum which most if not all blockchain and NFT games come from, and they do not have a slightest clue how to deal with it. But of course as time passes many learn and be able to try other games that are not in the ETH markets and eventually mine different coins in the long run.

People panic sell based on what they see or hear and how they interpret it. Sometimes the sell is not because they think it will drop to 0 but because they don’t want to incur significant loss.
And like this time.

There's a likely that many have panic sold because they see bitcoin dropping in price. It's the usual situation that we see people panic selling because of having no concrete plans as they hold and buy bitcoin.

Of course with time they’ll realize they should have just held their coins.
Yeah, they'll soon realize that they should've held it.

That's the step that beginners usually take.  they lack analysis, lack of experience but are tempted by advertisements on social media or advertisements anywhere that make them interested in joining.  even though it's very risky

why some people doing panic sell because they don't know and are confused about what to do with this volatile market. therefore it is important before investing in crypto we really have to be able to understand the market. Don't be easily provoked by the ups and downs of the crypto market. if the market goes down then holding is the best way, it's better than giving up on the situation and doing a panic sell. Remember that the market can go up or down at any time. we just need a little patience and also calm in all situations.

Looking for the right information about Cryptocurrency is important. Doing some research, to enable you know and understand what you are getting in. But, some people don't do that. Many just gets into Crypto world, and buy coins at higher prices, and when the price dropped. They panic and sell. This results to them losing instead of making profits. Which is indeed a stupid move. They end up saying Bitcoin is scam. Without knowing they were at fault.

There will always be people who will buy at high prices, but if you engage in analysis, it will be obvious that the market very often sags and thus always gives a very good opportunity to buy coins at low prices on drawdowns. The most important thing is not to rush, you do not need to think that it is important to buy faster because the price will rise, you need to have patience and wait for a good time to buy coins, so that don't panic, when the whole market goes down at a drawdown.

but this incident was widely experienced in 2018, where for the first time bitcoin set an amazing record so many of them thought that bitcoin would continue to rise and invest, but in the end there was a dump, so many people panicked to sell at that time with various stories of suffering , but for now I think new investors are smarter
