Most the people I know that have panic sold is mainly because they put in too much money at or near the top and it is money that they couldn't afford to lose. I would imagine this is the case with many FOMO buyers who have little to no knowledge of what Bitcoin and cryptocurrency even is outside of something they view they have to buy into right now so they can make thousands of percent gains.  When the flush happens more and more of these people gets forced to sell which just triggers harder and more violent selling.  Its only a matter of time before we see it again now that we are in a mini bull run and the media has picked it up more and more.

I think this is a normal thing in trading because everyone not only reads market charts but they also follow news and information about bitcoin so that speculation and specifications in carrying out the possibilities that occur in the next price make them to sell, partly because they panic some again purely because of their price forecasts and theory to profit with the subsequent price fall even though sometimes it's wrong

What is certain is that they are afraid of losing their money, the second could be that the capital he invested is not cold money so that when the price drops just a little, they panic. Even though we traders must have clear principles. Do not sell our coins cheap if we do not want to lose . But sometimes they can't wait for it to come back up. This trait we must fix let alone panic.
Who does want to lose their money? none right?  This is why these kind of burst of emotions do really happen whenever we do see our portfolio is going down which i do really considered to be normal.
Committing mistakes is something part of this investment journey which we should accept this fact and prepare to do things on what must have done for you to handle the situation.
I have countless panic sell decisions in the past and now that i had already gained up sufficient knowledge then im not easily get panicked on situations like these
but there are still times that i am.

Panic sellers are generally the most inexperienced investors in this market to tell the truth. I have never seen an experienced investor who panics and sells a big amount of their coins when they see a decrease in the price. If these inexperienced people get to know about the market more, they would also stop panic-selling. It doesn't help the investors and it causes the other investors to lose money also. Because when the demand drops down, it affects the price too.

panic sell usually there is a certain reason in everyone, fear of losing profit. The fear is mainly driven by market understanding, which of course can be driven by knowledge and self-analysis.
The best way to deal with panic is with a well written plan, actually In cryptocurrency,

The lack of market understanding is what drives people to actually panic sell, these type of mistakes usually happen to beginners, and some holders who actually lack patience and information about the market and the volatility of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, one of the ways to actually deal with panic selling is doing research and just simply watching videos about Bitcoin and its price, on the other hand, some people also has the tendency to make a panic sell/buy whenever they feel like it, patience is actually important when you are holding/buying, it gives you somewhat of an advantage to those who lack patience, those are the people who are likely to give up and make bad decisions.

your review makes sense, makes people panic selling maybe because they want to make a profit in a short time, so when the price goes up a little, people have panicked to sell, because maybe they are afraid the price will go down again, in the near future, but different from people who have been playing crypto for a long time, they have definitely invested in the long term, if there is a price drop, they don't panic at all, and will sell their bitcoins, because they already have a target, if their target has not been achieved, they will still keep the bitcoins they have ..

if you see those who do panic sell all of them are newbies then you are wrong, there are several factors that influence someone to panic sell
but most of those who panic sell are inexperienced newbies who can't analyze the market and also don't have faith in bitcoin

btw, there are also many traders who panic sell or cut losses to cover possible losses and then buy again when the lower target price has arrived

Having too many unknown parameters can make you panic sell.

There are far too many unknown stuff with crypto and most of them can be dangerous so when the bad news come, like it did last year, it may trigger a full panic mode. I wouldn't panic If I were holding stocks, gold or something similar because I would know exactly what I was holding and why but holding too much crypto is something different. It can go poof any moment and when the bad news start coming you ask the big question: "Is this the end?" Then BOOM

People just think that now is the time to sell so they don't end up losing money. As for me, it depends on the opinion of everyone.
It's also the other, time to sell because they can't attain to see it drop more.

They're aware of their emotions that they can't bear to incur more losses so they just panic sell. It is the usual cut loss for them but in panic mode which we don't think is a right approach if it's not planned.

We saw the past from $10 to 60k is going up and up. So it sure it will reach $500k next destination.
But why the hell people panic sell now after it reach this high amount?
Do people really still think it goes to 0?

There soulnd't be any sale presure given the history that we see Bitcoin only going up in value
What about to make survey about that? To have a better image.

The reason why peopel panic sell is that some people bought bitcoin at 60K and once they saw the price decline, decided to sell it as soon as possible to avoid/minimize the loss. Others waited for some time and when they saw that price was going by 5%, 10%, 20% just in hours, then they went into a panic state and sold immediately. This kind of situation turns people into panic because highest percentage of investors have no idea what bitcoin is and it become fashion to invest in crypto.
You know, anytime you sell - someone buys and the opposite - anytime you buy, someone sells, so don't be amazed if people buy and sell anytime, even when the situation is very stable and promising. Also, people buy bitcoin at different times and prices and some people just follow their profit plan, some people just use btc to payment and it doesn't matter for them what time and at what price they buy it.
The reasons are a lot and there is nothing special in it.

Panic sellers always count the losses. Crypto is where you can make all the profits. Maybe it will take more time but you will make a profit. If you are frustrated, you will panic and lose. During the correction, many people panic started sell. Pumps again after giving his cell to see later. so don't be panic in trade.
Panicking is not a problem as an investor or rather does it make you a weak investors or trader. Panicking is normal and it's not attributed to a particular trader or person. It is an emotional state of being that control one trading and investing ability. The more wins a person has the more limited panicking will be doing trading. We'll trading with panicking especially when the trade is going against us bringing different emotional state that could affect our trading arsenal.

Panic is a form of fear that a trader or investor can exhibit when things are going the opposite way that is not expected. Developing a trading psychology can help a trader or investor from falling prey to panicking when investing which can affect the entire is we are not careful.

Looking at the charts always.

Someone who looks most of the time and lack of experience makes them panic sell. I was the same before until it helped me endure the market during the bears and bulls.

Also, when someone is in need, he won't care if he panics or not.
A man in need will never think anymore about hodling as long as he gets to solve the poblem he's facing just like in emergency cases that are inevitable. So he eventually end up panic selling. And yes, if you are just here to invest because its a trend without making any preparation so probably when a bears hit the market, you started to worry seeing all your investments will end up in zero so you resorted into panic selling. And that will make you lose a huge amount.

I understand how things will be after panic selling because i have also been doing that before so i decided to change my strategy and focus more on improving it so i can minimize my losses.
Such distortions can be avoided by obtaining more knowledge in financing and investing. You are fear mostly because you face something you can not understand or lack of ability to explain. Panic selling simply means you sell your coin while being panic because you see your coin decreases or having a bad impact. Therefore, I believe accumulating more knowledge in this field helps you not to make any bad choice. After all, we just need a little luck to become rich by our own

It is common human behavior, the crypto market is good enough to play with public sentiment. Suppose you bought 10K dollars worth of bitcoin with pegged price $50K, and the market started falling suddenly just after you buy the coin, if the market fall to $40k that means already you have lost 2000usd within a couple of minutes, so what will you do? If the market will start to fall again common human sense will encourage him to sell the remaining funds at the spot, no one can control himself when he seeing money is going away continuously.
As a human being which does have emotion and feeling then you would really be having those common reactions whenever you do see the price is falling or specially you do see your portfolio is getting lesser and lesser or
having deep negatives and this is what makes us able to sell in no time or simply committing some panic sell which turns out to be a big mistake because we do know that some coins specially bitcoin could really have some
chance to recover even though its not an assurance on when it would happen but it would surely be on next.

Right,
you mentioned "recover" this word. Now let me elaborate on this, Profit-loss is different from person to person. Recover the market and recover your loss are not same, people who are technical will never lose anything even when a big correction occurred.

Some of my friends invested in bitcoin when the price was 60K, I also invest a portion of my money in bitcoin at 60K price. you know the next story, we couldn't make any profit from that trade. The price has been fallen randomly and some of them sold their holdings, They did not dare to enter the market again for fear and overall they lost a certain amount of money.

Another group is still holding their coin and they determined that they will never sell anymore if the price will not come back to 60K again, they are also at in loss and waiting to recover the loss, profit is far away.

Do you know what I've done? I just calm down and waiting for the deep, I have bought double as much as I bought before when the real opportunity has come at 30K price. Whatever the market will recover or not it doesn't matter, I'm not a loss at all. I've increased my portfolio by around 1.5x during the dumping moment when most of my friends are still at a big loss.

beginners who do not know bitcoin accurately, and do not have knowledge of bitcoin must be educated so as not to create panic sells and help dump drastically. sometimes I'm sad if there is a beginner who loses just because he is hit by a panic hype, and he doesn't get a profit. it's so sad

To reach the number of $ 500k is really too difficult but considering the current BTC value , I think it is possible for BTC to reach the threshold of $ 100k. And why panic people dump their BTC , In my opinion they are new entrants in the market and are emotionally manipulated by market prices and don't trust BTC holding long they just want to earn quick profit share in short time.

There are two reasons why people panic sell: either they are caught up in the frenzy or they are afraid because the price has dropped. The second one is more common since most of us, I believe, are continuously watching the price, which makes us nervous and makes us assume that if it goes down, we will lose money; this is a lack of patience and wisdom because it is not always pump.

The second reason was that some people anticipated it would go down by displaying their chart, leading you to believe it would sell right away.

There are several situations that make people sell their bitcoins. Negative news that generates panic in the most inexperienced is one of them, just look at the news like: "the end of Bitcoin is near"; or even "you can lose all your money on Bitcoin, because today it's worth a lot and tomorrow it won't be worth anything", news that kind of frightens anyone who has never experienced a bear market. Many also sell because they simply achieve their goals and don't want to hold the coin anymore, taking advantage of another moment to make new purchases. Everything will depend on the emotions of each one, and also on the strategy that each one has. In my opinion, the most important thing is to always have bitcoins, in the short, medium and long term.

In my view, the majority of sellers panic below the loss due to many reasons:
1. Lack of awareness, lack of trust
2. Believing in FUD communication
3. Not being patient enough
4. Asking for too much time high is like wanting to make a quick profit

Lack of Trust and changing market dynamics is at the top of the list. Especially in the light of recent scenario and what happened back in 2017
