why some people doing panic sell because they don't know and are confused about what to do with this volatile market. therefore it is important before investing in crypto we really have to be able to understand the market. Don't be easily provoked by the ups and downs of the crypto market. if the market goes down then holding is the best way, it's better than giving up on the situation and doing a panic sell. Remember that the market can go up or down at any time. we just need a little patience and also calm in all situations.
Even professionals or veterans do really still able to experience about panicking on certain conditions whenever they do see some mind boggling price fluctuations which would really raises up some questions in mind.

Market is indeed unpredictable and there's no way that you could able to handle out your emotions anytime but in most cases panic sell decisions do mostly happen on newbies or who had just
recently jump in the market. If you arent that good on handling out yourself and easily freaks out when there's a drop then you would really be finding this volatility aspect to be that problematice.
As long you cant able to control or have discipline then you would really be having a hard time.
Emotions are a really hard thing to control, sometimes even seasoned traders fall into this unfortunate situation many times. Newbies, there really is no way to help them control their emotions. The best way is that they will have to go through the stages of the market themselves from which they draw their own experience so that they can control their emotions once the bear market comes.

The main emotion is fear - it's scary to lose money, so when the market moves down, the first thing that comes to mind is to sell in order to save money.
That's why they fail because in the first place they don't understand what they are doing.

When investing in crypto, that means they are taking the risk, and when they are taking the risk, it means they could also lose their money when they make a wrong decision, that fear is caused by emotional judgement, we don't do that, we have our mind to judge our actions, not our emotions.

Not all people does have that patience on waiting up for long term holding thats why some of them do really decide on dealing off with the volatility on active manner and that what differ in between

the two which there are ones who do make short term trades and there are ones who do make long term ones.Speaking of panic sell then its a common behavior that can be comitted on this dealing with
the market.

Whenever you do see some FUDS around then you would presume out that the market would be falling and as you observed when it starts to plummet then emotion would be your main enemy on here
whether you do cut loss or hold or would make out some dca strategy and it all depends on you.

The main emotion is fear - it's scary to lose money, so when the market moves down, the first thing that comes to mind is to sell in order to save money. But when the market rises, many are also unable to overcome their desire to make a profit as soon as possible, even a small one. That is why, as soon as the price of a coin rises a little, people immediately want to sell it. Patience in investing makes all the difference.

Too often see the price is a big mistake because bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are decentralized that can't be controlled, this makes the price will continue to fluctuate, it's better to focus on the goal, for example if we want to buy bitcoin and target big profit then long-term hold is the best thing , don't panic when you see the price drop because according to my experience the price will recover soon.
Checking the price too often can be contradicting if you are a long term hodler. When you check the price and you see the price falls down, you will worry and you will sell. Same thing happens when you check the price and you saw an increase, you will get tempted to sell. See? This destroys our plan. That is why it is important to check the price rarely and you must said to yourself that you won't get affected whatever price you will see not unless if you already hit your long term goals.

Cryptos are decentralized but not fully because there are now reports about manipulations and there are also left and right regulations. This things can affect the flow of the price.

I'm sure today many investors panic because the price of bitcoin drops by more than 5%, and the usual thing that happens when the price drops more than 5% is that many people immediately move the asset to a stable coin, but if the price drops more than 10% usually there will be a purchase. big because they believe the market will recover soon again, the current issue on social media states that bitcoin will drop below $40k again, I am waiting to buy if it is below $40k.

Depending on how investors and traders do their research, some might panic, but others may take it as opportunities to buy more.

With your own references, it's you who will take your call, if you believe bitcoin will bounce back, instead of selling what you already hold

it's best to buy more and add to your investment if ever you still have a good amount of spare money.

Panic comes from luck of knowledge. Only those who did not do deeper research will always be the victims of fud and current downfall

from the market.

We saw the past from $10 to 60k is going up and up. So it sure it will reach $500k next destination.
But why the hell people panic sell now after it reach this high amount?
Do people really still think it goes to 0?

There soulnd't be any sale presure given the history that we see Bitcoin only going up in value
Different people have different understandings that are accepted by common sense, the beginning of bitcoin's emergence until now, should be a reference, even bitcoin has gone through difficult times and was not used as a fundamental coin, but now bitcoin has become the father of other coins, the correction phase and market chaos are normal reactions what happens, this cannot be separated in the investment model in crypto, so it does not become a reference for the problem, in fact panic is what makes people miss good opportunities in investment

Panic selling that happened to me was when I saw the price of bitcoin drop significantly, if the price of bitcoin drops more than 10% then most investors panic and choose a cut loss, this is what happened in early 2022, especially when there were too many FUDs so that it made it worse. users panic and sell immediately.
I think only new investors feel panic when bitcoin price drops 10% because price drop or 10% price increase in crypto is normal. when the price drops 10% in my opinion the best decision is to hold because most likely after the price drops 10% the price will go back up even though sometimes it doesn't return to the previous price. Panic selling is normal when the price drops suddenly, but you should try to stay calm because panic selling will only make things worse because you can't think clearly and can't make the best decisions.

Right. someone who has been in the world of crypto trading for a long time and believes in the fundamentals of bitcoin, when the bitcoin price drops they take advantage of the moment according to their risk profile. even the moment of a bitcoin price correction can be considered as a discount to enter the market and buy bitcoin at a lower price.
those who already have faith in Bitcoin, have the attitude of buying in a bear market and selling in a bull market. while beginners who have just entered the crypto market will definitely buy when it's bullish because of FOMO and sell when it's a bear market. profit in bitcoin when trading is not difficult as long as you understand the rules = don't sell when bear market come.

If someone is new to crypto, they usually feel panicky and pessimistic when they see a bear market for bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies after a sharp strengthening. In addition, if negative news appears about bitcoin, they sell all their assets so they don't experience big losses. But if someone who has been in the crypto world for a long time, they don't panic when they see bitcoin prices go down because they already understand the fluctuations in bitcoin and altcoin prices.
those who are just learning in the world of trading if the first time they play and then the price drops, they must be worried. however if one has been in the trading world for a long time and has checked away from some time before they decide to trade. surely they will not panic selling. because indeed people who have been trading for a long time will definitely learn all the charts.

Greed forces people to panic sell. That is the only reason. Take a look on current fuel prices. Each day they are increased for 5-10%. Do we see mass vehicle sales? No. Food prices grow. Do people start to avoid eating and starve? No. Greed is what scares people. Greed makes people do thoughtless actions.

Fear is the main reason people panic selling their bitcoins right now, the impact of the big decline that has made them have to make decisions that are quite hasty, especially beginners who are new to crypto, so far I see the fear of experiencing bigger losses to trigger beginners to sell bitcoin when the market is bad, but for those who have experience and know bitcoin well of course they will still hold bitcoin, because bitcoin strong fundamentals are of course the reason for the possibility that bitcoin prices will rebound at any time.

New traders fall into panic which is common. On the first day of war between Ukraine and Russia myself got panic and sold a little of about $300. This happened once after seeing the price crashing steep down in less time. Myself connected the market crash along with the war which gave me a feeling there'll be continued down move. The next day I got surprised to watch the market progressing. This is how market creates panic, and the right one profits.
^ Right at this moment you probably have regret because all coins have been in progress on the market cap.
I did not panic when I heard during this war and I am thinking to purchase a little during the correction, I expect that it goes down further but the fact it did not and now we have a healthy market again and we saw most coins are in green color.
However, even though I am in panic mode but I realize I don't have coins on my portfolio, so how can this panic selling will effect.

When the market gets hit strong enough for bitcoin to experience a significant decline of course many investors panic, so they may sell more to take small profits or even avoid bigger losses that are likely to occur, falling prices will usually make investors or newbie trader nervous so that they are confused about holding or selling it, and for those who have a fear of loss, of course they will prefer to sell, and conditions like this are very much awaited for investors or traders who have confidence in crypto or them have large capital to return buy assets in the market.

To them who have a decent amount of capital they can hold still and buy more even the market is falling, but for those who are unable to prepare themselves to this kind of market situation, fear is always the case, it's the reason why they can't hold but instead they will follow the market trend and sell out to cut losing their investment.

You always have good options if you go deeper, never to invest without proper knowledge to avoid panicking when the trend is not

moving according to how you plan your investment.  Cool Smiley

Often new traders tend to fall into panic sell. As they are new to the market and newly experiencing sudden hype or fall, they loose their patience and sell at loss. The fear of loosing much if the price fall more, makes them loose their confidence and look at the market fluctuation as a temporary move and sell them off at loss or buy at high price. Yes it comes when they move about with less knowledge about the market. But they do learn as they move by.
