The concept of the project will be very important as well as the value it will add to the market. It has to come in with a solution to a problem for it to succeed.
I think that genuine utility makes a coin valuable. A lot of tokens and coins offer something I call pseudo-utility, in which they promise a lot in the future, but currently have no real utility to speak of. A lot of ICOs and altcoins offer tokens that solve such a niche problem, it's hard to imagine much of an overlap between it and blockchain users. Of course, this can always change with increased adoption, but as of yet the true utility of most blockchains is low.
Three important factors that make altcoin valuable are the innovative technologies carried by the altcoin, the real benefits provided by the altcoin, and the public's trust in the coins. If an altcoin has these three aspects, I'm sure that the altcoin will continue to strengthen and can last a long time in the market. Innovative technology is a unique technology that no other altcoin has that is the hallmark of the altcoin. This technology is also not a duplication technology from altcoin before. These tangible benefits are benefits that can be felt by society at large without exception. And this trust was built to get the hearts of crypto currency players. If an altcoin has great technology but does not get the trust of the community then it is equally worthless.
First and foremost, you need a team, without a tarnished reputation, who have experience in different areas - but primarily experts in the field of economics and blockchain. The second is a work product. And the third is listing on stock exchanges.

totally agree with you. strong portfolio give confidence to investors and traders which make them stay in the market, give more resistance during bear market.
I think the main factor that makes any coin valuable is its usefulness to society. If the project is sustainable in the future, then it will automatically create value and demand.

I agree, you need to have a great and new project to get more investors and to make it valuable , project is the most important because the price can be depends on how project will work and the marketing strategy they have.
I think that the diversity and speed of transactions make them valuable. each new altcoyin is to some extent refined old. this makes them valuable

For an altcoin to be valuable, the team must have a strong project backing the coins. Any altcoin without a reasonable project and an active team may end up as pump and dump coins.
Support. Today, little project thinking about how to survive for a long time in the market. They don't care about escape routes or airbags. They only care about what can happen to the pump and they get under it.
