I think what can make us believe in the new coin is to investigate the description of the coin first, what about the number of the contract, its symbol and decimals. If this is complete then you can be sure the coins are official and registered.

Reliability of altcoins are related to the real perspectives of the project from which they originate. If I’m sure that some project has positive qualities it means that the others do the same. That’s why this coin becomes trustable.
Altcoins promising value growth, you can make good money on it with the help of trading both in the short and long term.
There are a lot of securities on the stock market, and in the same way tokens of new projects are constantly appearing in the cryptocurrency market. Of course, not all new ICO should be trusted.

For me newly listed altcoin is a very profitable investment that is why I am always taking risk even if many negative feedbacks that has been thrown to altcoins. Trusting the capability of a certain alts will give you confidence to invest.
what can I say is that product is the most important part of the project for me. I do not invest in ICOs without a ready-made product and only with airy promises to do it in the future.
I trust a new altcoin by reading their whitepaper and asks the admin of the ICO about the goal of their project. I’m looking for those ICOs that have long term gaols for their token.
Since there are so many enterprising cryptocurrency especially altcoins and tokens projects that aim to change the world of business, which ones that worth our investment is hs a good and unique innovatif. The good news is there are many markets has already done the work for us by identifying and rewarding the most promising projects with high but rapidly increasing market caps. We can look at from site like coinmarketcap and another site and big exchange.
I read their whole project and why they have made the new coin. Im currently following SciDex, they are helping scientists to share data which is very important for example in my profession. Hope their project succeeds. Take a look: scidex (new ICO).

Well it is easy to trust a new coin. Just make sure you gon through its white paper and all other things. PRG, XRP and EOS are really great coins, if you go through them, you shall be really happy I can vouch upon it.
For me there are so many things that need to be seen when new altcoins emerge starting from the way of work, roadmap to the level of sales.
As a trader sometime new altcoin seem more interesting than the bitcoin or ETH. Due to the high volatilitasnya, but we also must be careful in choosing before the made investment or trading either long term or short term, there is more good news we do research first about the new coin will be released. Whether the project release have usability and have a team of developers who are very good and can be believed.
I think after the Etherium can put a crypto-currency like Ripple. In my opinion, this is a very promising coin.

Along with that you said is correct we will need to look at the management and the team as they also play a very important role and decision is taken by them only. So we need to know about them because at difficult times one need to take some major decision will they be able to handle it, are they fraud etc .
Beside that, new coin must be have working product and strong community. Whitepaper is first thing i am looking on their company page, it represent their roadmap and their product
