You have already got some great pieces of advice to promote your project on different forums. However, one thing seems missing. What you gonna promote? A website link of your project? A long content explaining about your project? or a real engaging stuff like explainer video of your project which can attract more people.
Definitely, I would recommend to use explainer video. Recently, we created a video for gratz ico and it added a great value in promoting their project. Have a look at the video we created for Gratz.

It depends on which projects you want to promote , either real life project or crypto one. Real life projects can be promoted through advertising on TVs, in the street, etc...

Basically through advertisements, in that case you can widely advertise the project or your project was making, you can either make a advertisement video that can help the viewers on how and what is your project, but nevetheless, if you really wanted to be notice you need to cooperate with those project or group that been famous, or recognized. And literally you will need a whole lot of momey for it, but then again be wise, last but not the least before ill end this quote i would like to leave an advice, that strong and positive mindset, will result positive outcome.

The moethod I see recently as being used the most is airdrop dristribution. You give coins to early subscribers of the project for advertising it on social media of all sorts.

Don't spend too much coins on your airdrop. Your coin will be dump initially and you will lose the confidence of your investors. Airdrop do have positive impact as well. Try to do AMA's with quiz at the end. Distribute your tokens to the ones who participated in your AMA. Really liked the airdrop campaign of vite.org
