...

Unless you are very technologically adept (or very comfortable with risk AND able to predict the future), I would not have more than 5% of net assets in bitcoin.

My BTC holdings are just under 1%.  I am HODLing at this point.  I suspect that BTC is not invulnerable to technological change, it could go to zero (although I doubt that in the short-run).

1% - 5% is plenty to positively change your life if BTC has a massive price spike up.

apparently not enough.
my online money earning is 100% in bitcoin these days and nothing else. but my assets as in how much i have invested in bitcoin is so small and i always want to increase it but also take risks into consideration.
how can it be possible that your income is 100% and yet you have invested very small amount of money. how can it be possible. because from a signature campaign one can only earn a pocket money.

Ah I'd say somewhere between 5 and 10%. I'm just earing Bitcoins on the side so it's not adding up to a huge amount (as of yet Wink). Mostly what I invest in Bitcoin is time and effort.

I have really never counted the percentage. But it is less than 0.01% of my networth. The funny thing is that, I have never bought bitcoin using my fiat money. I have started getting bitcoin from faucets and then I have used it for trading. Joined signature and avatar campaign to get a regular income.

Hence, I have not calculated ever, but should not be more than 0.01% in total.

Less than 1% of my asset is in Bitcoin. But I think it will rise to 50% in the next ten to fifteen years.

So what percentage of your total monetary and financial investments are in Bitcoin?

What do you think is a smart balance to have?

Less then 10% of all my assets are in bitcoins.

but the number doesn't matter in my opinion it is different for each person, becase every person is different when it comes to taking risks and investments. most people look for a safe investment rather than high risk high reward.

I always liquidate my assets in other altcoins keeping 15% as the last resort in case something drastic happens to me or to my trades!
Speaking of which I had around 20% staked in Ethereum trading and after their hard fork and the subsequent price rise I was able to profit around 56% from it.

That's how pro traders need to carry on with their supposed trading business.
Having all your assets in one fixed deposit is not a right thing at all. Especially in case of virtual cryptocurrency.

I have about 25 percent of all my assets that i own in bitcoin or maybe a bit higher in at the moment but im hoping for a large rise in price sooner or later that can take me up and over 99% Wink , Id probably have more in but due to the price hike the past few months ive been hesitant to buy anymore in the hope that it would have dropped some but its not really looking like that will happen anymore.

I'm not saying 100% but more than 90% of my savings are on bitcoin, maybe because the amount is not large, I know that this is a bit much and I'm risking it but for others those that don't want to risk to much i would prefer 30%-50% to invest in/hold bitcoins.

well i cant vote yet but most newbies are just like 10% income into btc cuase money never comes easy right

It is not the poll for the percent of income you get, but it is the poll that how much of your money is in bitcoin, suppose if a person has only one dollar and with that he buy bitcoin then he has 100% assets in bitcoin, and if he buy bitcoin with $0.50 then he will have 50% assets in bitcoins.

I don't own much, so talking about "assets" seems a bit over the top. On the other hand I'm totally free of debt which I'm really proud of.

I've set aside a chunk of cash as a safety buffer in case I loose my job. That lasts around 3 months. I don't consider that an investment, because I don't expect a return from it. I also own a few gold and silver coins. These I also bought as a precaution for hard times, when fiat might no longer be accepted. These I don't consider investments neither, because I have no intent of selling them.

All what remains is Bitcoin. So 100% of my free assets are Bitcoin, although the total amount is still too small...

Used to be 50/50 back when I had a btc salary, but now a days I only keep 10% or less in crypto, unless I am speculating on a particular market event.
