I don't have coins from 2014,but I have some pretty old coins. I still have these coins , not because I believe in their projects but because they are no longer on exchanges so i can't sell them off.

I remember mining Electronum because it is so easy to mine, all that was needed was just your mobile phone and internet access. I successfully mined over 4,000 Electronum before I came to the realization that I was wasting my time and resources.

I still have 4,000 Electronum today, I don't believe it would bounce back but it would make me rich if it eventually does.

A lot of cryptocurrencies have been created throughout time.

I personally have not held onto any old or even dead blockchains.

But I am working on a new project focused on old blockchains and with the attempt of reviving them.

I wanna ask what everyone here is holding onto.

I am mainly interested in coins from 2014 and older, but anything you deem "old" is welcome! Smiley

I might hit you up if I find your coin interesting Cheesy

One of my new picks is Leacoin because of its age and simple configuration.
Indeed, many coins used to have good potential going forward. Maybe for me, LTC is the best coin. But I prefer coins like Cardano, Ripple, and several other coins. THERE is a top choice for me for low-value coins.

My old coins is still Ethereum and some XLM and Dogecoins, For token i currently holding WPP and ShareRing this token is from bounty last year.
Recently WPP has increased more than 200 times, and are you still holding onto it? It is best to sell it and get profit from it, then you can continue to invest in better altcoins to get profit.
I never thought about the situation of WPP energy. I thought this project was dead but the price recovered from 90-100 times. But a new deposit isn't possible in Digifinex exchange, only holders of exchange can get profits. I would prefer Litecoin, EOS blockchain. Leacoin never has a good volume, traders have very low interest.
So holders cannot sell tokens when prices are pumped up like that, obviously they can't make a profit by holding this altcoin. I still remember they had a very successful ICO but then the project followed a bad trend

Right now, i have hold an old coin named WPP. I received it from a bounty handled by a bounty manager lauda. In past couple of years the WPP coin is just a very low valued coin, and lately the price went up and i think it has the possibility to increase soon.

I personally if i buy coins and suffered a lot of losses, I will hold the coin until the price can rise can at least return the capital that I spend so for me it cannot be determined how long we have to hold the coins we have
That is right cause of that long term investing is not the best choice for all of us. That is right there are a lot of factors, which we must take care. Our success depends on altcoins and right time to sell coin. Every altcoin is not good for long term investing, l think top altcoins can be great choice for long term investing. On the other hand sometimes it can take a long time to wait for right time to sell your coins.

Dogecoin! Who would say 6-7 years ago that Dogecoin will overtake all coins like FeatherCoin or ApeCoin. After some time we realize how good strategy it was to build this coin on a joke - it has self-spreading marketing.  Smiley

Most of the times, we might not be able to predict what would become of a coin. It might look like shit at first, but with times, most especially when the coins get some drive from the community, it becomes an all-important coin and that is to, it has caught its own portion of the limelight. Truly speaking, dogecoin started like a joke and today, almost all exchanges in the crypto space want to list it, without the consent of the team of doge itself.

With the launch of various coins and tokens now, old coins are losing direction, but only a few old coins still exist, such as bitcoin, eth, waves, eos, doge, dash, and a few others. and I still stick to dogecoin until now. because dogecoin is the best in my opinion and is able to provide great benefits to me.

LTC is probably the oldest altcoin that I hold. I have started investing in LTC since 2017 and often have a lot of profits from it, that's why I continue to invest now. I also have over 200 tokens of no value in my wallet, they came from the airdrop I participated in since 2017

Brings back a lot of old memories. When I first stepped in to the world of cryptocurrency, along with Bitcoin, LTC was one of the first cryptos that I purchased. I never had a wallet (either online or offline) for LTC, and therefore I stored them in my BTC-e/Wex.nz wallet. And when Wex.nz went down, I lost most of my LTC. I had some in my Cryptopia wallet as well. But that exchange also went down in 2019, and I lost all my LTC holdings.

Guys, what do you think about WAVES? A couple of years ago, the project was if not in the top 10, then it was next to the leaders, but over time it somehow lost its "power" and as a result, the interest of users. Previously, Sasha Ivanov often appeared in the media and now disappeared somewhere. Is the coin worth our attention or is it better to focus on something else?
WAVES is no longer a good project, they have done a good job in their work and project development. But lately things have gotten quieter and I don't see any updates from them
