I have been holding some shitcoins from the last three years what i purchased a huge amount and now all are worthless tokens but then all were one of the favorite new coins to the investors like CYFM, MFTU, ABX,UBX, FTXT, PKT and so on. I have lost my 95% investment in those shitcoins and after that i have traded many new and old good coins many times and made profits with my fundamental and technical analysis regularly.

for now, I do not hold the old coins, only a few new altcoins that do not yet have a fair price to sell and some of the dead altcoins that have been abandoned by the developers.
too bad if you pass this opportunity. honestly, at this time there is the potential of old coins like bitcoin, ethereum, LTC, even doge also just pumped up. we don't know which old coins will pump, but I choose to hold ethereum at this time. Well, I also have some people hold ethereum because they believe the price will pump high.

The only ones that I have would be the ones I hold for a long time now and use in my trading like DOGE, LTC, TRX, and other I won't mention. Well if you are going to invest in coins just make sure that you have absolute confidence with the said cryptocurrency. That way, you would not encounter any setbacks when you do trading on these platforms. Just research and ask those who have more experience and you will be fine.

I no longer hold any old altcoins, in my investment list, the oldest altcoin is from 2017. In the past I had a lot of old altcoins but now they are dead and I am completely at a loss with it.

I'm holding XLM,BNB and ETH, this coin is good for longterms. and i think DOGE coin is also good for longterm, and i already buy DOGE and keep it in my wallet for an undetermined time.

BNB and ETH are good for the long time and so do I also continue to hold this coin. Doge I am not sure how much to rely now on this because the big rally has already come in this coin and those who had made money either should have quit by now as Doge continues to fall after making the good high in recent times. Hopefully bitcoin will give us a good rally and this altcoin will also have a momentum in coming time.

Doge made some great movement after that tiktok news, it's time to let it go if you able to buy while the price is low, take your profits and wait again for another position to take,.

With BNB and ETH both coins are competitive and continuously updating, if you have this as an assets for long term investment it's best to take the profits when you already reached your target.

Altcoins are the other cryptocurrencies launched after the success of Bitcoin. Generally, they sell themselves as better alternatives to Bitcoin. The term "altcoins" refers to all cryptocurrencies other than Bitcoin. As of early 2020, there were more than 5,000 cryptocurrencies by some estimates. now a days altcoins are growing with Bitcoin. we can invest with some of the altcoins recently it will boom through the social media. Market analysis platforms like Messari crypto, coinmarketcap, tokenncoin and coingecko platforms shows its growth through their recently updated graph with partnerships exchanges.
the top altcoins are #ADA, #link, #VET, #XRP, #ATOM, #ALGO, #XLM and #CRO. We can check livecoinwatch through analysis platform.

I have some certain coins who have a lot of potentials to become one of the top coins in the market today and I was holding them for a pretty long time now. I want to hold it as long as possible and hold it until I think the price is reasonable to sell them. It's not that easy to hold such coins but if it ever reached its all-time high in the market, I might think again to sell them all because we never know if their price will reach up that high again. Some people will not bother whether to sell them now or later only because they're holding some amount that they don't really care whether they lose it or not.

I suggest not to expect too much from dogecoin. it will not give you a better profit. pumps that are carried out only run short and may only occur in a long period. assets for the long term are still many. BNB, LTC, also a good BCH for you to have.
Doge is actually good if you prefer to use it for moving money, alternative to ETH or any other altcoin but pretty much unstable and the future is uncertain is dogecoin holders. BNB is the only low risk that's worth the hold for this old coin category I guess.

These are some of the coins that I am holding even now:

1. TMT (Traxia)
2. Deep Onion
3. Algory
4. WPP Token
5. EBTC
6. BITX
7. IOUX
8. MINDOL

Many of these alts/tokens gave me good profits in 2018. So I kept a small amount in my wallet rather than cashing them 100%. Now I feel that I made the wrong decision, as most of these coins have lost their value. For example, TMT has lost almost 99% of its value during the last 2 years. Deep Onion has performed even worse.

bitcoin is currently not showing good growth. an altcoin is now just starting a few small rallies. look at BNB and LINK, this already shows a growing market interest.

It's just a pity for me that I have series of old tokens that have become shitcoin now. I was hodling based on the advice ó those that claimed they know much as regard cryptocurrency and most of those tokens no long worth anything.
After a few months of development, ICO projects that I know are dead and no longer interested by investors. This has made this type of investment no longer as popular as it once was, and people feel more anxious when choosing to invest. In the past, I have earned from major ICO projects like Bancor, Adex, Utrust or Centra, but all have now become shitcoin and no longer have a stable price increase as before.
Those good projects before are now dead and can be called as shitcoins nowadays. I have BKX,Shivom and Opria before which is really worth high but now it is considered as dead and shitcoin. It is not really good to hold altcoin in a long period of time because of the risks, I'm sure that I am not the only person who regretted to hold shitcoins.
If you are an early investor, you have earned profits from those projects but after the ICO no longer attracts new investors, those coins are quickly forgotten.

I have also invested in many ICO projects in the past but only made a short profit because the waiting period listed in new exchanges is really long. In the past, I also made the mistake of investing in some scam projects and that was the worst time for me.

1. ETN
2. CRPT
3. NPXS
4. LYL
5. TRX
6. IOST
7. XLM
TRX and XLM which in my opinion have had a lot of opportunities these past few days because the increase is quite good I was surprised to see an XLM increase of nearly 20% at the time and I think we should sell to take advantage of this moment and I sell a new part and now waiting for TRX with release 4.0

Looking for gigs

A lot of cryptocurrencies have been created throughout time.

I personally have not held onto any old or even dead blockchains.

But I am working on a new project focused on old blockchains and with the attempt of reviving them.

I wanna ask what everyone here is holding onto.

I am mainly interested in coins from 2014 and older, but anything you deem "old" is welcome! Smiley

I might hit you up if I find your coin interesting Cheesy

One of my new picks is Leacoin because of its age and simple configuration.

I still hold the following where they are still active and having long-term goal until now since I seriously began my cryptocurrency journey in 2017:

1. ETN
2. CRPT
3. NPXS
4. LYL
5. TRX
6. IOST
7. XLM

The rest in my portfolio except BTC and ETH are shitcoins and other alts coming from new airdrops and bounties that I have joined.

If you look at coinmarketcap, you will notice that almost all old coins lose their value and are replaced by new "promising" shitcoins!
So I see no point in holding coins for a long time...
The only project that I have more than two years is Komodo! True, sometimes I trade it on the exchange and try to maximize the number of coins!
Yeah it is true, there are many promising coins before that doesn't have value anymore. Remember when the bull market happen last 2017? Most of the altcoins are making all time high but look at its price now, most of them doesn't have volume and value anymore. I still have a lot of shitcoins in my old wallet but it doesn't matter anymore to me because I accepted it already. I make a mistake by not selling those altcoins when its price is still in the peak.
