Good idea, but you need a large community to market on those revived projects. There are actually quite a lot of alts that were well developed in the past but because bitcoin collapsed so quickly that thousands of alts and tokens disappeared from CMC.
Now, most investors realize that good technology will not help the price of the coin grow. So most of the investors have chosen to invest in good news to increase their profits. Therefore, reviving an old blockchain is quite difficult at the present time.

I have sold my old assets, but seeing the altcoin market conditions I chose coins from the ethereum project and the ripple that I hold. when looking at the ability of ethereum and ripple on the market, of course the current price is the most appropriate to buy more.

Bitcoin is the oldest coin I'm holding and probably everyone. I ocassionally hold and trade Dogecoin and Litecoin, mostly because they are fast and has lower fees. If you are talking about less known coins, I'm holding one called soferox, they are old but still active, they are pretty low in price than ICO so I have no other choices than to hold them.
most people only focus on bitcoin and ethereum if it is an old coin. maybe there are some people who use old coins like doge or LTC, but not in the long run. so far, I've only held ethereum for old coins. there may be some old coins in my wallet, but I don't use them.

I don't hold coins so far, but I hold some of the coins I got from the bounties. Where most of them until now was being stock up in my wallet, it is because some don't have yet exchange then some have exchange but I hold em a little for believing that it will get higher in the near future because I saw there is a demand.
The main bonus from 2017 till now, there are many coins but most of them are tokens on the ETH platform, they can be considered as new coins. About the old coins, I stored PiggyCoin on Cryptsy, but then didn't withdraw it to my own wallet until the website died, it is also a pretty interesting coin.

Not all receive their 888,888 airdrop few months ago it went 300usd plus, but my bad I didnt sell. May be next time when bull run started when ICO startups will appear again kick will rise again as one of their biggest source of income is ICO crowdfunding.

I'm holding KICK coins about 888,888. But my major holdings are BTC (40%) ETH (40%)  (10%) WAVES. I expecting a reversal from altcoins against BTC. Still waiting for the next altcoin season.
Are you kidding? I remember Kicktoken did airdrops for everyone and up to now they are still locking them. You do not invest in it and I am also sure that you will never be able to sell these tokens

A lot of cryptocurrencies have been created throughout time.

I personally have not held onto any old or even dead blockchains.

But I am working on a new project focused on old blockchains and with the attempt of reviving them.

I wanna ask what everyone here is holding onto.

I am mainly interested in coins from 2014 and older, but anything you deem "old" is welcome! Smiley

I might hit you up if I find your coin interesting Cheesy

One of my new picks is Leacoin because of its age and simple configuration.

Yes, the older the more quality. I like the classics and want to follow with your choice it feels like back in the era of 2014. For me now it's more like coins / tokens that are familiar like BTC and ETH.

the Old coin ? the first time i join in here in cryptocurrency i buy some BTC and ETH.
until now i hold it and sometimes trade it too, so can i tell if BTC and ETH is old coin i handle.
but it true the older and elder of cryptocurrency coin is Bitcoin.
I think the old investment options are often not very profitable for investors, and you need to look for new coins to earn higher profits. The coins in the top 10 CMC I'm not as excited as they used to be because these coins often depend a lot on the price of Bitcoin. However, the situation now looks better, and this is an opportunity for you to consider many new options instead of having to buy the coins that have risen in the past.

The old coin that I hold until now is AE (Aeternity). Since their ICO ended in 2017, I have gotten several AE tokens from joining their Campaign. Until now I still hold, even though I passed the AE golden moment, where at that time the price AE reached 0.0005 BTC but I didn't sell, I'm regret when I remember that moment.

I do not own or keep old coins either generated from the Bounty campaign or from investments. I sold it all when the price increased. because holding a coin for too long is quite risky.

I believe this currency is better than most new currencies today so if I choose I will choose to go well on this currency. It's great that you support older people, we have the same interests because I also like antiques not only on cryptocurrency but also in real life.

LOL. This is from there airdrop. I already disposed this token few years ago. There is only slim chance that Kick will gonna go skyrocket due to tons of token supply and the amount they giveaway.

Answering the OP. I'm currently stuck on holding HVN and AIR which is both promising and under the radar right now. I believe they have a chance to explode once mass adoption surge on there product due to the unique market they have. Invoice market of HVN and Lending solution in Brazil from AIR is really great.

I have several old erc20 alts in my ownr wallets but they all shitcoins. To buy them was a mistake
I also like you, in 2017 I bought a lot of ERC20 tokens to hold and wait for profits. But all died and fell to the bottom in 2019, losing a lot of money to these shitcoin
