ETC, I had this probably for the past 2 years or so, back in the day someone paid me in ETC for a job that I did and I said since it was an extra job and I didn't really counted for it, I could act as if I never received that payment at all, so I put it on an exchange and never looked back, it is there ever since that date and it did lost a bit of value over the years but I am fine with it, just keeping it there for a rainy day in case something bad happens that I need money urgently for it.

I am seeing lots of people are holding dogecoin and litecoins. If I would have got chances to buy them cheaper and I might have sold them when dogecoin peaked up to 120 satoshi sometimes back and litecoins for 0.016BTC. Because, just gaining some 2x profits will be more than enough for me because I am basically not a greedy investor.

I hold Monero, and now the price of XMR has not improved as last year,
last year XMR could reach $ 100, and now the price is half, i keep hold this coin

as long as development is on-going and there is a progress, i keep the coin in my portfolio, it is a new and young industry and you never know which projects could shine in the future, and those could make one well off, established projects could do well as well, but do not think that percentage could be that good as with new and progressive projects
Monero should do good in the future, although the competition for privacy coins is fierce

From the really old coins I hold only Litecoin and Ripple, these two coins have at least some progress. While coins like Feathercoin are buried because they stopped the development process in a time of crisis. So it is important when cryptocurrencies do not respect trend but work hard even the market is in bear market.

Until now I still hold and collect XLM little by little, even though the price is still said to be cheap, but I believe the price will increase in the next few years

for now, the old coins that I hold are BTC and ETH while the other coins I hesitate to hold because the quality is not good for long-term investment.

How i wish i have coin holdings until today and makes me jealous now some coins are now valuable even before, if only i am a strong holder from the beginning of my crypto career collecting bitcoins from free sites from few years back i would have triple my bitcoin holdings in today price. I am still glad that i had the opportunities to earn on those because it made me more a holder of my current assets now.

A lot of cryptocurrencies have been created throughout time.

I personally have not held onto any old or even dead blockchains.

But I am working on a new project focused on old blockchains and with the attempt of reviving them.

I wanna ask what everyone here is holding onto.

I am mainly interested in coins from 2014 and older, but anything you deem "old" is welcome! Smiley

I might hit you up if I find your coin interesting Cheesy

One of my new picks is Leacoin because of its age and simple configuration.

I still got evedo, mtl, some boxx, xrp and ilc of course.

I hold Blocknet, which was founded in 2014. Still a great project which has improved a LOT the past 2 years in terms of development etc.

I'm sure they'll be back at the top once they roll out their own oracle network, which is cheaper and more decentralized than Chainlinks solution currently is.
Ethereums Infura solution, which handles dApp data is centralized as well. Something Blocknet is improving too. Smiley

I have several old coins, such as ZperToken, Taklimakan, CoVEX Coin, SKYFchain, Ziggurat Token, EmpireCash, W12 Token, NTY, Ethlimited etc. I have alot of old coins in my wallets
But most of them are dead and have no value. I also have a lot of tokens in my wallet and I have received them since 2017, there are more than 400 such tokens because before I was involved in airdrops, are you holding any altcoins created from before 2015?

The only coins that I hold are cat and bitcoin. Bitcoin as an airbag and a cat as a mint on which I have high expectations. There were a lot of altoins during the popularity of bitcoin, but I sold them in 2017.
Hodling coins sometimes is not a great choice. I have a lot of coins in my wallet in the past 2017, But almost all of them are shitcoins, and not even on some exchanges. It's better to invest old coins like Ethereum and Bitcoin. Other than old coins that don't have futures plans on their coins.

For a lot of months, l don't prefer to hold any coins, other of top altcoins, and BTC as l can. About new projects, l don't try joining into the projects. That is why as you know most of them are getting dead after time. But since 2018 l have collected some old coins like Dogecoin, XRP, ETH which are still in my wallet.
Old coins are often discouraged from investing because you will find it very difficult to make a profit. I think it's best to look for new altcoins from IEO projects because these are usually very easy to raise coins if there is good news. Of course, I have had this plan since the beginning of 2020 and have made a lot of profits from these coins. However, you need to be careful and always analyze carefully before deciding to buy.

OMG! You earned huge tokens from bounty. You should avoid some tokens from your list. It looks like dead tokens are holding in your wallet. With little money, you can buy some top volume and exchange listed coins. Some dead tokens didn't move even in crypto golden time.

This is the good topic for discussin. Almost three years ago i am entering in crypto world that time i haven’t proper knowledge. So i buy some shit coin and loss most of the capital of mine. Now i am holding xrp, kick, xem coin. Recently kick launched their exchange thats why kick price rises and xrp and xem are waiting for jump. So i belive i earn good profit from these coin.
Kicktoken? If I'm right, it's just a bullshit project and not worth your investment in it. Choose better projects to replace it, XRP is one of the good options and invest in altcoins in the top 10 instead of buying kick and hold.

I will say DigiByte! One of the old coins, one of the rare coins that is totally decentralized! If you are for decentralization, you need to have DGB! It's one of the coins I have for years, I didn't stop accumulating, whenever I remember I add more! They are great, and DGB community is one of the best communities around! Anyone should check them, to see what they talk about, to see their ideas and plans will get in love with DGB! If you didn't check DGB, do that!

There are some coins am still much Happy to hold even though the market isn't moving into the direction I speculated earlier this year 2020. Although despite the outcome of these holdings am proud to say that: the only coins am still holding and will ever hold are; Bitcoin and Ethereum. Nothing worth holding apart from the about e coins in my opinion. Though, my holding was as a result of my believe in them and their prospect in the world of cryptocurrency, hold a good and reputable coins not to regret your holdings in the nearest future.

When I think about trends, I realize that every year, we have quite different coins in the top 100. So that means that the top 100 coins are only good for hype and then they will fall in history. People will not care about outdated coins; instead, they will care about coins that are described in a beautiful and modern way.
