Bitcoin is the largest part of my portfolio in regards of old coins.
Although i have some new cryptos that gives me a bigger ROI in the present bullish environment.
BTC ETH Monroe and LTC are good coins to hold because they provide use and already well adopted

I too, hold coins that were old 2 years ago but those coins didn't have a price until now. Even though Bitcoin's rise is increasing but the coin doesn't have any impact.
The coins that had a good impact when Bitcoin increased in price were coins that were popular, not old coins that never became popular in the market, this was a noticeable effect on all coins that were in the top 20 category ranking only.
Actually, it was not an investment wise to invest in coins that follow the Bitcoin market trend during the bullish season without the inclusion of the coin long existence cause some altcoins are usually manipulated this season, and when blood bath happen the next thing they do is to disappear from the market so when thinking about safety it better to go for a long existing coin that's still doing well in the market.

All the tokens that I got in 2017. I have sold them all, I am not the type of person who can hold tokens for years ,, as for the tokens that I hold because they cannot be sold.  while it can be sold I will sell it.  maybe a lot of people hold their tokens for years, but it doesn't seem like they got any results.

I still have been holding some altcoins as its pointless to sell when not getting worth my wasted time.  Grin
Same here, we have the same principle mate, I have some altcoins I earn through bounty in the past and I can't sell it or I won't sell it because it's almost worthless, I have a very little hope it will be alive again but I believe in miracle, however not counting on it anymore.

A lot of cryptocurrencies have been created throughout time.

I personally have not held onto any old or even dead blockchains.

But I am working on a new project focused on old blockchains and with the attempt of reviving them.

I wanna ask what everyone here is holding onto.

I am mainly interested in coins from 2014 and older, but anything you deem "old" is welcome! Smiley

I might hit you up if I find your coin interesting Cheesy

One of my new picks is Leacoin because of its age and simple configuration.
I have dumped most of the old coins I held even some were stuck on exchanges and I lost them. Still from the ones from like 5 or more years back I do have some amounts of the obvious coins like btc, eth and ltc.

You are only going to make a good amount of profit if you have tons of altcoins if not, the option to trade it to BTC is there. Holding more than a million Doge today is really good if you have bought it while the price is less than $0.01. Just think about it if you have 10M of it right now to which I guess Doge holders are already celebrating.

I still have been holding some altcoins as its pointless to sell when not getting worth my wasted time.  Grin

why do you have to revive old coins? isn't that now out of the way with new projects? or you will make an old project following the current trend like you want to make it Defi?
there are so many old coins that have died in my wallet such as UAHPAY, SKRP and many more that I can't possibly mention all
Bro, UAHpay's been around for a while and I guess it's dead right? I also still have some tokens like Spectre (SXDT) or some other coins from 2017. the reason I still have it is quite simple, because maybe they still have a chance to have a good price.

All the coins that I keep are old, I do not invest in new ones because the new ones are pumps.
And my, old, proven projects have proved that they are developing in a crisis !!!

I prefer low-cap tested coins. They have tremendous growth potential.
Here's my list:
1) Phore coin - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3179265.2880  I will get Graphene [GFN] https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/--5304323
2) Alias - https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-spectrecoin-anonymous-tx-tor-ring-signatures-stealth-4434053
3) NIX Coin - https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-nix-next-gen-privacy-currency-multi-layered-interoperability-platform-5099680
4) SafeCoin - https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-safe-safecoin-community-edition-of-solana-2838370
5) EmerCoin

For me, small capitalization is a BIG PERSPECTIVE! You can invest a little, but get a lot of money!

I'm holding many coins.
Many of them are from bounty or airdrops. Most of them are useless. But I'm holding 3/4 kinds of coin. Hope they can give me good profit in near future. But many of those tokens prices are so dump that they can't even worth my eth fee.😐

There are lots of coins in the cryptomarket, many people invested their money in cryptomarket, and lots of coins holder waiting for a good profit, personally I invested in ETH, BNB, DOT. ETH give me positive feedback, but I am still waiting for BNB and DOT. I think BNB and DOT will give me much more good profit in the future, and I'm still holding those coins for better profit.

I additionally have the pundiX tokens ...

I never got into any tokens as they seem to me to be counter intuitive to the mantra of "being your own bank" instead of governments issuing the money.

The problem with tokens is they are all pre-mined and sold for a song, then the group behind the ICO/IEO (call it what you will) vanish into the night, or, dump their bags if the price actually goes up killing the price.

I additionally have the pundiX tokens however just few. I truly don't have the foggiest idea whether these resources can be acceptable later on aside from the initial three I referenced. I don't have the foggiest idea why I purchased npxs tokens, I ought to have not get it out of promotion however its absolutely down, I think no decision except for to hold it. I purchased as extremely modest and help over a one year and fortunately it's above 2$ which is unimaginable. This is the main coin I bity chest to hold and entertaining enough I got it from abundance chasing.

I sold just about everything I had this time last year, so what little remains are very tiny amounts of some very old scrypt coins that I'd managed to mine myself plus a couple of others:

100 Crypto Bullion, a few hundred World Coin, a few thousand Earth coins, I've got a paper wallet somewhere with about five or six diamond coins, a couple of dozen ruby coins (that never stake) another one called KARMA - the first of about five coins or tokens that have had that name.  about 100 DEM (Deutsch eMark)  Can't recall off the top of my head any others that are still active (Maple etc isn't active, so isn't included) - I have some swapped TAG coins in a wallet that were in exchange for my TAG coins that were burned.  I don't know what email I used to set that wallet up let alone the password, but I don't think they're worth even one Peso combined.

Not worth nada...

Old coin i held untill now is Dash and Litecoin. Dash and litecoin looked solid and the community also support each other, Vitallik also gives little code on dash. It is mean he is supporting it ( i dont know if he still hodl dash or no ). And why i still hodl lite coin ? Because the community also good and old people from early adopter still there.

Both Dash and Litecoin are good-old coins with a tried-and-tested blockchain network. Whereas new coins are struggling to achieve security/reliability, old coins like Dash and Litecoin are already battle-tested for the worse case scenarios. Unfortunately, old coins have lost their luster as people are focused on profits than anything else. If you look closely at the market, you'll notice that both LTC and DASH are quite stagnant in price. This tells us that people aren't interested into old coins, as new coins prove to be much more attractive with their shiny new features.

At least, some old coins will be able to last a lifetime because of the considerable amount of people supporting them. The only issue would be price per coin, as old coins could become cheaper than they were before. But that doesn't matter if you only focus on the coin's usability. As long as its underlying blockchain network remains alive, you can feel confident that your holdings will remain secure.

Nonetheless, it's best to avoid holding lots of old coins in order to minimize risk of loss as much as possible. I'd personally hold only the most prominent old coins on the market like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Dash, and Monero. The rest might simply go down the drain as they become de-listed from crypto exchanges. Coins will come and go, but Blockchain technology will survive for many generations. Just my opinion Smiley

I believe that it is almost impossible to understand whether the project will be successful or not. So I don't see the point in holding coins for years. We can only hope that perhaps in a year they will become more expensive.

I am holding Trust Wallet Token TWT.
I choose twt because it is first first tokens to launch on Binance Smart Chain (BSC) — a high-performance blockchain designed for smart contracts and decentralized applications (DApps). As a result, TWT can be transferred with extremely low fees and near-instant transaction confirmation times

is a utility token designed to provide additional value to users of the Trust Wallet mobile app — it doesn’t have any utility outside of the Trust Wallet ecosystem.

Despite this, as a BEP-20 asset, Trust Wallet Tokens can be transferred to any wallet that supports Binance Smart Chain assets, where it may be exchanged against other assets or used as payment for services. Since it also confers voting rights and governance over the development of Trust Wallet and can be used for discounted DEX trades and in-app purchases, TWT has gone on to develop value of its own as a speculative instrument.
I hope price will pump 0.50$ + in 2021.
