So far, I've only kept ethereum in my wallet. it is one of the older coins, but I continue to collect and sell when I feel that it is the right time to sell it. however, I quite believe that every one of the crypto users has at least one popular coin that has been in their wallet for a long time now.

One of my new picks is Leacoin because of its age and simple configuration.
To be honest, I have never heard about Leacoin before, and I am curious so much about this coin, so maybe I'm gonna research about it. The old coin with me that I am still holding is Dogecoin and I think this is also one favourite coin for people who knowed this market from early time.

I took advantage of and kept a few altcoins in 2018, such as ETH, TRX, XLM because at that time they were very cheap, but then I sold the Altcoins and now I only have ETH . I think ETH is worth keeping behind Bitcoin.

I agree that in 2018 almost all altcoins have fallen in price considerably, so buying altcoins in 2018 can indeed be a bargain.
The three old coins that you mentioned I also bought in 2018, and I'm still holding them. Because the three coins have not
returned to their all time high price, I will not sell them in the near future. I will hold it until the price returns to all time
high prices.

I'm just hoping that one day these coins will come alive.

All the time but the chances are maybe 5%, but since it's not impossible in crypto, then we should still be optimistic.
I don't aware for my some alternative coins that i can said it is old enough in my eth and dekstop wallet, some of it which use eth basis are under 0.01$ in price (i see it from etherscan.io) then some other in dekstop wallet which is masternote coin is not tradeable anymore. I loss my hope a little bit for those coins, but always hope there will occure a miracle that someday i check those coin then they have worth enough to sell.

I have so many old coin in my wallet, they will be up to 15 old coins. Almost half of this project has run away due to some reasons, sometimes I do look at my wallet and I will be like why I'm I holding these coins.
Many of us here have that problem, maybe you get hype during 2017 bull run, but I believe in the next bull run it will show some opportunity for us to sell those shitcoins.

I don't have too many old tokens in my wallet. I don’t like to hold tokens year after year. Because even if a valuable token is held for a long time, it is more likely to become worthless. Very few tokens increase the price later. However, if the token is not listed in the exchange, then there is nothing to do.

That's certainly true, mate. Old coins tend to lose their luster as time goes by. Only a select few are able to remain actively traded on the market for quite a long time because of their constant development and innovation. It's always recommended to diversify your investment between new and old coins in order to minimize risks as much as possible. If you're still inclined into holding old coins for the long term, then look no further as both Bitcoin and Ethereum prove to be the best ones on the market today. Your holdings should have greater weight on these coins than other old coins which are widely unpopular in the mainstream world.

As for me, I'm still holding old coins like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and Dogecoin. I've used to hold Peercoin and Namecoin, but had to sell them off as I needed the money right away. Between these coins, I'd say that NMC is quickly losing traction on the market. It may eventually die due to lack of interest from people in the mainstream world. Peercoin is lucky to be alive considering that there are many more PoS coins with better features (and better stake rates) on the market. It might lose its luster as people abandon it for the next big thing in crypto.

Nonetheless, holding old coins for the long term is an extremely risky practice. You're better off holding the top 5 cryptocurrencies on the market in order to achieve peace of mind in the long term. As long as you quickly sell some of your holdings for profit, you'll be able to maintain a steady financial life for years on end. While most old coins will eventually become de-listed from crypto exchanges, their code will be widely available for anyone looking to improve the project. What ultimately matters is the underlying technology underpinning most (if not all) cryptocurrencies on the market today. Blockchain is what it's all about in order to improve our economy for the better. Just my thoughts Grin

I really want to see these old coins being sold, but of course we won't be able to sell them, especially if the coins no longer work. I have 2 coins that I had staked for many years since 2016 and sadly they no longer work or they no longer stake. The second one only stopped stalking early this year. If only the developers continued in making these coins active then there might be a good way for us to sell these coins. Anyway I do have other investments on good and popular coins so it is just ok. I do hope others have successfully sold their old coins.

Now is the time to take profit and so I will say if you hold some good token, profit will be inshaAllah. I held some tokens and bought Chen link 2.54 at 356. But when it was 20 $, I made a profit by selling something. Now I have only 143 tokens. I will hold them now. Maybe in the coming days the price may be hype again. Thank you.

A lot of cryptocurrencies have been created throughout time.

I personally have not held onto any old or even dead blockchains.

But I am working on a new project focused on old blockchains and with the attempt of reviving them.

I wanna ask what everyone here is holding onto.

I am mainly interested in coins from 2014 and older, but anything you deem "old" is welcome! Smiley

I might hit you up if I find your coin interesting Cheesy

One of my new picks is Leacoin because of its age and simple configuration.
i have eth or btc it's my best tokens i am still holding and I am holding this token in feature it's giving best profit but you know technical analysis

Maybe only bitcoin, the oldest crypto that I still hold until now, but there are also several other altcoins that I have held since 2017 such as eth, ltc and several other junk altcoins that I got from several bounty jobs, such as helbiz, cma and also dragon, maybe very few people still hold coins / tokens that were created in 2014 because at that time bitcoin, and also crypto currency was not as popular as they are today and at that time maybe there were only a few crypto projects that were developing,  even if there were still people who held them. coin / token that was created in 2014, of course, is quite rare nowadays.

There are some old coins that have stood the test of time. Coins like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin are worth holding for the long term because of their constant development and innovation. These coins have massive adoption in the mainstream world, even if new coins are starting to gain traction today. While old coins are tried-and-tested over the years, they're certainly not as popular as new ones. The risk is higher when investing in an old coin than a new one, since old coins can easily get de-listed from a crypto exchange due to low trading volume (with the exception of BTC, ETH, LTC, DOGE, and XMR). That's why it's always recommended to hold both old and new coins for peace of mind.

Nonetheless, I'm still holding quite a few old coins that are quite established in the crypto/Blockchain space. In my opinion, coins like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Monero, and Namecoin are irreplaceable. Their rock-solid blockchain networks will keep them going for the foreseeable future. No matter how many new coins emerge on the market, these old coins will always be considered as one of the best ones in the industry. As long as people continue to support them, they'll remain on the scene for a long time. Even if they die in the long run, anyone can revive the project or start a new one from scratch thanks to the decentralized and open source nature of crypto. Bitcoin, being the oldest cryptocurrency in the world, will outlast many coins on the market due to its constant development, innovation, and ever-growing mainstream adoption. Smiley

One month ago I had 200 Ripple bought during dump. Unfortunately, we were in need due to typhoons and covid. I haven't choice but to sold my ripple to survive and buy the necessary things for my parents and siblings. Now Ripple is in pump, I feel really bad but I must accept the fact that I cannot return the past. Life must go on despite of regrets.
I'm sorry about what happened to you. but it's what it's right, we also can't predict exactly about this ripple, I personally don't really like ripple because they are centralized coin, but as an investment they are quite good

You do not state any reason why you like old coins. For your information some of the old coins are actually forgotten and the community are leaving the project making it not worthy at all. In your case, I know that you know how to find good old coins and that you can benefit on it. Hopefully OP, you can get what coins you wanted but for the new comers like me then I do not have any idea about OLD coins for I am here in the forum on 2018.

Guys back in 2017 I got 18K USD worth of free airdrop from DeepOnion. Stupid me was a noob in the crypto world and things were happening so fast that I didn't sell a single coin... Afterwards I was like: "Well, opportunity missed" and forgot about the crypto world at all. 3 years later I check my DeepOnion coins and see they're worth 700 USD. I also read that this shitcoin got delisted from a major exchange and as you can see from it's graph, the price was not moving at all. I managed to sell my $700 worth of coins in the shady exchange it was being traded at and put everything in BTC. Afterwards I gambled everything to $2300 worth of BTC and recently sold everything. Now I'm waiting for the dip so I can buy more BTC.

So yeah... had a bad experience with old (SHIT)-coins.

You misunderstood me. I acknowledge those facts as true but i clearly wrote that, i don't believe on any other old or brand new currency except only those i mentioned  in my comment.moreover here some guys are keep mentioning about some old scam coin as well as some old dead shitcoins, those don't have enough speed to survive anymore in crypto industry.so it makes no sense to hold such kind of currency for long term. i would like to strictly recommended those person to avoid those shitcoins
