At first, gambling is just a way to have fun, with limits that you set for yourself. But over time, the satisfaction of winning or the desperate need to get back what you lost can overpower the original goal of having fun. This change isnt sudden; its more like a slow leak, where self-control wanes almost imperceptibly. Isnt it funny how the desire for fun can turn into a strong need?

Being responsible when gambling is very important, but you have to be very alert to keep it up. We often dont realize how tempting possible wins can be. The hard part is figuring out when something goes from "fun" to "need." How can we help people think in a way that keeps them from becoming addicted to things they enjoy? Maybe the answer is to regularly think about yourself and set clear, unwavering bounds. The goal is not only to gamble safely, but also to keep things in balance so that gambling is still a choice and not a must.
It's normal if initially the desire to have fun from gambling then turns into a strong need because, in gambling, many temptations can make us lulled and we can't stop ourselves from missing it. But everything can definitely be overcome if you have good self-control so that any temptation from gambling that you encounter will not be able to tempt you to continue gambling. You can restrain yourself and even quit gambling without burden because you know that you have had enough gambling and it is time to stop gambling.

I think they need the right mindset towards gambling first and maintain it so that it doesn't change after gambling several times. People tend to change their attitudes after gambling a few times, especially after winning. They thought that they could still win one more time but it turned out that it wouldn't work. The last win they got was the last win for them, and after that win, they lost. Maybe they need to set limits on gambling so they don't overdo it and can immediately stop gambling when they've had enough, whatever the outcome.

Responsible gambling can be fun and exciting. In contrast, the situation you describe is very different. When this happens, gambling goes from being a fun activity to an all-consuming addiction. Individual's inability to notice his changing goals is a problem. Isn't it strange that the bettor looks for comfort in something that is clearly leading to a problem? There's more going on here than just passing the time; it's a deeper psychological trick. It's dangerous because, as you said, it could ruin his finances and have a big effect on his family and social life. What is the best way to balance the thrill of gambling with the possibility of bad things happening? Finding the thin line between love and addiction is very important. Support systems are very important in this situation; being aware and acting quickly are necessary. But how can we make sure that the appealing nature of gambling doesn't make us forget how important it is to be self-controlled?
Mostly, that is what happens to gamblers who cannot gamble responsibly. They will spend more time even though at the beginning of their gambling, they could have implemented responsible gambling just to have fun. But along with the pleasure they get, slowly, the responsibility they have built up begins to disappear until finally, they cannot be responsible with their gambling. They eventually become addicted to gambling because they have lost their responsibility in gambling. In fact, they can apply clear limits to the amount of money that will be used for gambling. But because they lose their responsibility in gambling, they can no longer be responsible for their gambling activities. If this is the case, gambling games are no longer fun because their goal in playing gambling has changed completely and there is only the desire to win and chase wins or recover from losses. If that happens, they will not be able to determine how much money to gamble with because they want to gamble continuously.

What percentage of bitcoin investors are gamblers ?  Where will this figure be if we consider worldwide users ? I think it will be somewhere between 10-20% ? Also, it is possible that most of gamblers are still not bitcoin investors ? I see  less chances of the later happening.
It is quote impossible to know What percentage of bitcoin investors are gamblers. I googled this topic and finally used AI but couldn't find it anywhere. It is impossible to truck it. It is possible to track how many wallets are holding bitcoins but how is it possible to track the bitcoins you are holding? So how is it possible to find out which Bitcoin users are gambling? So I think such question is unnecessary

There's no reliable statistics of crypto gamblers who are Bitcoin investors but we know that every crypto gambler in one way or the other must have transacted using Bitcoin but still it doesn't make them investors in Bitcoin but it's very possible for an investor to be a gambler.

Not every investor is a Gambler. Most investors especially high profile investors keep their assets in cold storage wallets where they have limited access to their assets probably because it was ment for the long term investment hence they will not be able to gamble with it, and their has been no official collation platform who can provide an exact statistics of Bitcoin investors who are gamblers and those who are not so your question at the moment have no straight answer.

Excessive gambling can be a sign of addiction. A gambler is addicted to gambling when he feels that he is losing regularly in gambling but is unable to quit gambling even after losing regularly. Gambling addicted to gambling and gambling as a hobby have the same purpose, the purpose of both is to make money but the purpose of both is the same but the effect is different. A person who is addicted to gambling will have very bad effects of gambling but a person who gambles as a hobby will not have any bad effects of gambling. That's why we should enjoy gambling and take gambling only as fun as we have the chance to win money and gambling will not have any bad effect on us or my family.
It is very difficult for gamblers who are addicted to gambling to admit loss from gambling. They will continue gambling again to recover from their losses or to chase their wins again. However, they tend to want to continue gambling because gambling has become their passion to fill their free time. His goal in gambling is no longer looking for fun and entertainment but has changed, but he himself doesn't know what his goal is now. He just felt that by gambling, he could feel comfortable and not want to do anything else. It will be more dangerous when he only spends his time in the casino without doing other activities because he could become a person with a very serious gambling addiction. And if that happens, it will be difficult for his family because they will definitely be confused about how to cure him.

Investors are people who invest in different businesses and I doubt Bitcoiners are also investors.

Although we won't know, because there is no real data as you said before, I agree with the intuition that the profile of the Bitcoiner is more like the one stop shopper you said, and instead of investing in different businesses like the traditional investors do (diversify, not all your eggs in the same basket...), they will be investing in different altcoins instead, and in the case of maximalists, not even that.

And yes, I agree with a profile more inclined to gambling than investing, although there are also stone hand HODLers who will stack even the last sat.
There are no statistics for this but I must tell you that Bitcoiners are regular people too, so what is happening in the lives of regular people is what is happening with Bitcoiners too. Many might tell you that they invest in only Bitcoin, but it's a lie, most of such people have altcoins as they are trying to diversify their portfolio and also make more return on their investments.

But for another asset in the traditional market, many may not get involved in that truly, but it's not for any other reason other than they are not just inclined to that. If not for Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, there are a lot of people who wouldn't have known about investment not to talk of trading. However, this is not because they wouldn't want to try to gain their own slice of the cake in such investments but they just do not know other means by which they can invest and make money. Also, for the fact that some already know cryptocurrency and are gaining from it, they might not want to bother themselves with other means of investment.

This is the way I unbiasedly see it.

Your stat could be higher or lower because there is no available data to rely on but your assumption that most gamblers are still not Bitcoin investors could be wrong
if a gambler plays on Crypto casinos which are popular platforms for online casinos, he will see the full potential of Bitcoin, and being a gambler who wants to make a profit he is likely to invest in Bitcoin since he is a gambler, there's a big probability that he will use Bitcoin to deposit and bet, so we can say that gamblers are most likely Bitcoin investors.

Probably because currently people who hold bitcoin can use their assets for investment, buying things supported the use of bitcoin and lastly is the use for gambling, for sure people who have this will get curious about gambling and try at least to make a deposits and try to make a game, even though they are not a active gambler still considered they are part of the gambling community with their experience.

~~
However, different case when it comes to gamblers as most of the gamblers are not into bitcoin investment. Some are just gambling for entertainment only, but I think for those who have been gambling regularly, they might have been engaging into investment, if not bitcoin, then most probably into other physical investments.

Once they see the use of bitcoin or crypto itself as can be used for entertainment and once they enjoy possible they will continuously do this kind of routine, and now its up to them if they treat this as part of their entertainment only or could be another investment for source of income.

Mostly, those who hold bitcoin are also into gambling activity. Although not all of them but definitely more than 50% of these bitcoin investors are also enjoying gambling most especially that in most crypto casinos, bitcoin is the highly accepted form of cryptocurrency. Although some may be using fiat to gamble and keep bitcoin as their investment, still majority of these bitcoin investors are definitely gambling at the same time.

You can probably find out from a tracking website what percentage of people worldwide gamble. But it's impossible to say how many percent of bitcoin users gamble. You will not find its accurate calculation anywhere else. 10-20% This is just your personal guess and thus only a guess but no one can say how true it will be. But I think most of the people who love bitcoin and invest in bitcoin only choose to invest in bitcoin and not to gamble. Because they get a better investment experience from Bitcoin itself

I don't know where you got your stats from but I can tell that there are more bitcoin Holders who gamble. Gambling can be a more enjoyable thing using crypto. Everyone who gambles on this forum have Bitcoin or uses cryptocurrencies however not everyone one on the forum gambles despite having Bitcoin.
In fact, it is really difficult to figure out the statistics of bitcoin investors and gamblers. You are right there are many investors who gamble and many gamblers who invest in bitcoin. Gambling is a good investment true both investment and gambling involve risk and choice especially capital risk in the hope of future gains. Goal Gambling is usually a short term activity while bitcoin investments can last a lifetime. The risk is low and many investors prefer to hold bitcoins rather than lose them gambling. Also gamblers have negative expected returns in the average and long run.

I am a bitcoin investor and I like to gamble. Like other games, gambling is just fun for me, the money I earn from gambling is my bonus money and I use them as spending money. Currently I win mostly by gambling although some of my strategies have helped me in this regard. A person has invested in bitcoins, seeing that he has invested in bitcoins, he cannot gamble, the main point is that we should gamble without becoming addicted to gambling. Gambling is fine for us as long as we treat gambling as fun but whenever we expect too much from gambling the results of gambling will go against us. I usually prefer to gamble with stablecoins because gambling with Bitcoin means I lose if I win.

Winning in gambling is not something that we can be sure of, because it could be a coincidence. The comparison between our victory and defeat in gambling, of course, the possibility of getting victory is much smaller than if we get defeat.

It's a good thing if you use the winnings you get to increase your spending money, but if you play gambling too often and are often uncontrollable when doing it, then in the end the opposite happens, spending money becomes more reduced because allocating some of the money to play more gambling.

And Gambling is not a necessity and gambling is not a good activity and should be our daily activity, because the longer we play gambling, the closer we will experience gambling addiction. Gamble only in your spare time, gamble without having to interfere with your main activities, especially work and our responsibilities in the household, then this will allow us to become a responsible gambler and also allow us to avoid the addiction to gambling.

I think you are asking all questions and the percentage of your guess may not be confirmed. But I think the exact figure can only be known if a survey is done on that across then we can be certain what it is.

On my personal response, I won't talk on percentage but what I think is quite a handful of bitcoin investors will be gamblers and reason is they all involve same kind of exposure and purpose. Exposure in the sense that it follows almost same process of internet education and information. Moreover, they both relate in ads interchangeably, meaning you can see gambling apps on an exchange or bank online app.

Therefore, the ultimate goal is for profit. So it is not unlikely to find an investor in bitcoin trying to also leverage on gambling and the same goes for a gambler trying to leverage on bitcoin investment especially with the bull on the corner.
There's no such thing about precise prediction on what are the percentage considering that we cant really be able to know on whose investors and who are gamblers.
We dont know that every gambler is an investor and how things could really be able to determine? There's no way on doing so since these are personal things and something that cant really be
that easily be known and this is why it would really be better that we shouldn't be minding about things specially on something that cant be known or something.
For some insights, then as a gambler then they would really be allocating some funds if they do decide to gamble if they are someone who are really up to investment.

I'd say it's a lot higher, and even more when you include all of crypto like altcoins and nfts.  I mean essentially with how volatile those are you can say it's actually a form of gambling so that 100% of people that "invest" are gambling.  Either way I'd say it's way higher than the 20-30% range even if you don't consider crypto gambling.

Investing in Bitcoin and gambling are two different sites, so considering the two aspects, the number of members in Bitcoin investors and gambling sites can be different. Just as many people around the world gamble by joining online casinos, so many people around the world invest in Bitcoin. Again there are many people who play online gambling along with investing in bitcoins. I am a gambler as well as a Bitcoin investor if I say so. I gamble in my spare time but I prefer investing in bitcoins. In addition to investing in bitcoins, I also do some time trading. Gambling entertains me and when I win from gambling I try to fulfill my small desires with a portion of the profit. I am now involved in all three, investment trading and gambling.

At the very least, people who invest have pretty good financial control skills. And I think people who invest in bitcoin will not be too interested in gambling, even if it is cripto-affiliated gambling. Because they understand that investment is to increase their income, to get money. While gambling is just a waste of money. And even if they gamble, they gamble just for fun and don't take it too seriously.

That's just my guess which could be right and could be wrong. Because to prove this I have never seen survey results that show the involvement of bitcoin investors in the world of gambling. And if anyone knows the innovation, please let me know, because I am also a little curious.

I know that most people who know about bitcoin also gamble because everything is on the internet, so it is difficult to give accurate statistics. I'm not sure if some places are also closed to gambling, they may also have difficulty accessing bitcoin, but it's not exactly the same.
And the opposite is true for gamblers, including offline ones, they may just like to gamble for entertainment as well as to make money, and looking at crypto, they may not necessarily participate in it. In many cases that I meet in real life, they don't even know about bitcoin, and they still assume it is a Ponzi scam Smiley , and that is definitely ignorance. There is a real familiarity between bitcoin investors and gamblers.
