No date is available for this but this forum probably can tell approximately the number of users ruled out to have gambled. Probably a Rough estimation because even if there is a poll for this it's not gonna be an honest result.

However, the percentage of gamblers out of global BTC users will not be easy to get. BTC gambling is hardly discussed outside this forum but what is certain is that these gamblers are also Bitcoin holders.

What percentage of bitcoin investors are gamblers ?  Where will this figure be if we consider worldwide users ? I think it will be somewhere between 10-20% ? Also, it is possible that most of gamblers are still not bitcoin investors ? I see  less chances of the later happening.

If we will consider futures trading as gambling for this discussion then I consider almost everyone here is a gambler except for those hardcore holder only which is very few in percentage.

Also, it is possible that most of gamblers are still not bitcoin investors ? I see  less chances of the later happening.

I doubt that most gambler is not Bitcoin investor since most of us here learn Bitcoin before we explore in different altcoins. Maybe not all use Bitcoin on gambling but that doesn’t mean they are not a Bitcoin holder.

That's a difficult question because we cannot even count the number of Bitcoin investors. Some created a wallet but never used it, others created a lot of wallets but they are only using one.
But it's safe to say that many cryptocurrency users are also gamblers, especially in today's era where most gambling sites are accepting cryptocurrencies as a means to bet and also for deposits and withdrawals.
Identifying the exact number though will be impossible. Maybe some have tried to gamble using Bitcoin but didn't continue and others just tested if deposits with Bitcoin are really working.
I have a neighbor (not really a gambler in my knowledge) who is asking what gambling site I am using with cryptocurrencies as a means to bet and I told him the 2 best sites, so yes I think when you own Bitcoin and Altcoins you tend to bump to gambling at some point.

Most people who hold Bitcoin, the majority of them are sure gamblers. The reason is simple, the gambling industry being the most widely accepting Bitcoins as a form of payment and only few other industries are as open as gambling platforms to accept cryptocurrencies in general. That is why I think it is in the 70-80% of the users not just 10-20% as most people who hold a large amount of Bitcoins, also have some set aside to entertain themselves and what better way than gambling to have some fun.
I don't know how you arrived at 70-80% of Bitcoin holders being into gambling, there is no source for that information and I feel it is completely wrong. Holding Bitcoin and being a gambler are two different things. No doubt integration of cryptocurrency payment has helped in the proliferation of gambling platforms and also make a lot of people to start gambling, that is not enough reason to conclude that 70% of Bitcoin holders and into gambling. In my country for instance, crypto gambling is not a thing and the percentage of people using such platform is minimal compared to the numbers holding Bitcoin. Gamblers are many and are mostly using conventional payment systems in doing their business. Similarly, Bitcoin holders are many too and are not much into gambling. Many of the people that are using crypto for gambling are not holders but can be regarded as users because their winning are easily converted to the local currency via Binance P2P.

Investors are people who invest in different businesses and I doubt Bitcoiners are also investors.
You need to add more clarifications  to this. Investing in one business also make you an investors. Many successful businessmen are specialised in one commodity, why can't you calk them investors? Because they do not invest in many businesses? Bitcoiners who bought Bitcoin are also investors because their committed their money in the expectation of some profits.

Its difficult to guarantee a definitive answer to your question. Even if you conduct a survey on this forum or any other platform, its not guaranteed that you will receive an accurate answer because some investors might prefer to keep their privacy and choose not to answer. We can make assumptions, but ultimately they may not be relevant.

Yeah, Exactly, and honestly, I don't think these surveys are needed. From what I've seen, there are a ton of crypto enthusiast who are more into gambling than investing. I'm even leaning towards thinking we've got more gamblers than actual investors. See, when people are all serious about investing, they usually have to throw in a big chunk of money to have a shot at a decent return. It's the opposite for gamblers, though—they toss in a little and hope for a huge payout.

Here's my guess: Out of the 100% who are investors, I figure only about 1% of them are real gamblers. And by real investors, I mean not those who bail on their investment the moment things start feeling too much like a wild gamble.

When it comes to Bitcoin investors who gamble it doesn't seem like there anywhere near 50% and I think 20% to 30% is decent number.
Crypto gambling is growing well and the majority of people who quickly discovered it are crypto players consisting of investors and traders.
It just that we can't determine for certain what truly accurate number is for the percentage of gamblers who are also Bitcoin investors.

I sure all gamblers in crypto gambling are people who are quite experienced in the crypto world but not all of them will have Bitcoin investments but Altcoin investments may have higher percentage.
Bitcoin is an asset with high price and an investor with relatively little money would definitely prefer Altcoins as an investment asset to be able to get bigger profits if only with not too much money.

The conclusion is that not all gamblers will have investments in Bitcoin.

You should have created a poll here to get at least a view or a hint on the percentage of Bitcoin investors that are gamblers although that poll that you'll create will not reflect the real picture of the percentage.
It is hard to get the right percentage and every attempt will not guarantee that it is the real percentage because, for one, some investors will not openly admit that they are into gambling, all I know is the number is great because Crypto casinos are considered one of the top platforms in the Cryptocurrency community,  and you have to distinguish what kind of gamblers are these investors.
Maybe anywhere from 30 to 40%, I come out with a figure because the gambling community in Cryptocurrency is very huge now

No one can know this. You can know it because you can not know many bitcoin users that are living s private life. Another thing is that there is no such research done in the past like to be using IP to track. No gambling site will want to tell researcher about the IP address of their gamblers unless if regulators or government ask for it. So this can not be known.

I think only 5-10% of Bitcoiners is doing gambling. Why? Because of the fact that we are here for investment and we want financial freedom. We cannot achieve financial freedom if we qre into serious gambling instead of using every penny for nothing we save it fo us to be able to buy in the next dip. Investors has different mindset than gamblers.

I don't have any reliable data or study on the matter, though if I had to guess on it I would dare to speculate about 20-25% of people who own Bitcoin are or were gamblers in sometime of their life, probably the figure goes even beyond that percentage and reaches the 30-40%. But that is just a personal perception I have with the time I have invested within this community.

Also, it is reasonable to believe there are gamblers who are not actually interested in Bitcoin as asset at all, but only as a tool for them to gambler without relying on them having a bank account or a credit card (we all know there are more than only one reason for any gambler to avoid credit), if I had also to guess on that percentage I would say it is about a 12% of gamblers.
I am aware there have been scientific studies published by psychologist before on the percentage of the gambling population in certain communities, but I doubt they have gone as far as classifying those who specifically wager satoshis.

There's no available data on this as centralized gambling platforms don't provide such information. To estimate the answer, we rely on a simple formula. First, we need to determine the total number of Bitcoin investors. However, this is challenging as Bitcoin transactions are inherently anonymous. While we can access data on the number of generated Bitcoin wallets, it doesn't necessarily reflect the number of investors, as one could create wallets and abandon them or create multiple wallets to diversify their investments.

Small gamblers don't use bitcoins very often because they think it's better to keep their bitcoins rather than gamble unless they have a lot of bitcoins that they can use for gambling. We don't know how big the percentage is because many crypto gamblers still don't do KYC or they gamble secretly. It is possible that most gamblers are not yet bitcoin investors and use their bitcoins for gambling but that will depend on how they treat their bitcoins. If they treat bitcoin as an investment, they would prefer to keep the bitcoin rather than use it for gambling.

Who knows. Most investors are rather hidden or respect their privacy so I reckon you couldn't really easily make a connection even if casinos tried to connect their accounts to the wallets of well-known investors. I guess casinos can provide a survey but that would only amount to their user base and nothing more. As for gamblers not being investors, I reckon they were at some point since, well, most early crypto gamblers were only able to use Bitcoin. But now with a lot of other alternatives (together with fiat), I reckon we have gamblers who don't even give a damn about crypto.

But I'd say it's more likely for a crypto gambler to be a bitcoin investor than an investor being a gambler.

There's no data regarding the percentage of users of Bitcoin that gamble at the same time. We can only assume that most crypto users have been into gambling as there are many ads that promote different gambling sites not only on this forum but also on other websites.

We can say this because in crypto they can have the things they want. Like anonymity, having a safer transaction for online gambling, and such. Gamblers love freedom and privacy nowadays, they will always look for a way to have it and crypto provides what gamblers are looking for.

I'm a little confused by the words about the percentage of bitcoin investors who gamble, I'm not sure bitcoin investors are currently gambling with their bitcoin, as we know is that the price of bitcoin continues to increase and for them bitcoin is a good investment it will definitely be difficult for them. they use bitcoin in gambling let alone spend 1% of their bitcoin holdings, not sure about that

Talking about gamblers who can become bitcoin investors, personally I only see gamblers only being losers in the end and they will never get rich from gambling let alone succeed in multiplying their bitcoins in gambling, it's definitely difficult, I don't think there are more than 1% of gamblers who still use bitcoin for gambling and nothing more than that even though most of them may prefer stablecoin to using bitcoin.

There is no way to find this out, there is no accurate data that can give us a number on gamblers that are also bitcoin investors, but one thing is for sure, those who use Bitcoin to gamble are already bitcoin users, and there is a big chance that they have some numbers of Bitcoin in their wallet starched away for future sakes.

There are few bitcoin investors that are interested in gambling to increase the number of their Bitcoin, they aren't into gambling to make more money, they are in to make more Bitcoin, I have become a bitcoin investor before I started trying gambling but Bitcoin comes first, we all know how complicated it is to operate a bitcoin wallet as a beginner, it makes no sense for a beginner to choose bitcoin for gambling without having any idea about Bitcoin before.

The acceptance of Bitcoin payment is growing every day so many more stores and businesses will start accepting Bitcoin, I believe that more new gamblers will prefer to use Bitcoin over others as their favourite digital currency for gambling.

I will say that majority of people that gamble on crypto casinos are people that have bitcoin, because this is the reason why these crypto casino are into the market to entertain bitcoin investors. The fact remains that we cannot get the specific data because it will be hard to do so, since there id no possible way for one to know who gambles everyday online with their bitcoin.

In the land base casino or fiat casinos, it is also hard to get the total number of gamblers that uses fiat to gamble daily. What I know for sure is that gambling is something that new people keep on involving themselves in it everyday. Although in my country only few bitcoin investors will use their bitcoin to gamble because they see it as an investment that will yield profit for them.

in essence, trading is a certain kind of gambling. You never know exactly where the price will go, so at any moment you can either make a lot of money or be left with nothing. This is why bitcoin investors are used to risk, and no doubt a certain percentage of them use bitcoin in gambling (i think, more than 20 percent )

I suppose someone could try surveying bitcoin investors anonymously.  But even then, how many would admit to gambling, even anonymously? And you'd have no way to verify if they're telling the truth.  So were left to speculate.  Maybe 10% of investors dabble in crypto casinos? 20%? 50%? Impossible to pin down an exact figure.  But it's clear there's significant overlap between the crypto investment and crypto gambling communities.
