financial issues, to be honest that was the thing that prevented me from investing in bitcoin from the start, and moreover i was a little hesitant to put my money in bitcoin because of its unstable price. but that was in the past and it is very natural for beginners to think like that, now i am more confident and believe more in the potential of bitcoin and plan to invest in the long term by seeing how its value has increased significantly since i knew about it.

Financial issues is also one of the things that affected so many people from investing on Bitcoin because I believe so many people then had already gotten the insight that Bitcoin will be a good investment but lack of finance made them not to make use of the opportunity and also cryptocurrency was still very new to most people and they were not sure how real it is so they began to hesitate, however Ponzi scheme also contributed in corrupting people's mind on Bitcoin investment then.

So perhaps like you said those things are in the past now so what matters now is to learn from the past mistakes and correct it now because in as much as people have missed those opportunities to acquire Bitcoin doesn't mean that there are no more opportunity to invest on Bitcoin, so for me I will always continue my investment on Bitcoin.

What ruined my chance to invest in Bitcoin early, around 2017–2019, was actually a lack of ideal knowledge about Bitcoin. I heard about Bitcoin quite early, but I don't really understand it as much as I do right now. If I had had the Bitcoin knowledge I had now in 2017, I would have been able to buy some fractions of Bitcoin; money wouldn't have been an issue then. Even if I had not been able to spend about $1k to buy 1 Bitcoin, at least I would have still afforded half of it.

Even when I had about $800 in 2019, I lost the money in a Forex market investment.
I believe everything has its perfect timing. Even myself, I used to neglect it the first time I heard it, not only because there is no concrete knowledge and is lacking of finances, but it’s more on a lot of people are saying that bitcoin is never legit but a big Ponzi scheme. So I really avoided bitcoin way back in its early years. Until I bumped into a trusted friend of mine and told me that bitcoin has always been legit.

From that day on, I started taking a lot of time researching about bitcoin, thankfully there’s this bitcointalk forum that gives clear discussion about bitcoin, which until now I’m completely active on it. You know, even if I missed those past opportunities, but to be honest I’ve no regrets with it. And just like I’ve said, everything has its perfect timing. And I think now is the perfect timing to trust bitcoin over other assets or investments.

“No regrets” best write I got here because if you keep reconning on the past for so long and it starts impairing the future and I’m sure no one wants that intentionally for themselves.
A lot of things actually contributed to ruining my chances of investing in bitcoin but the major one was the fear of been scammed and I actually heard about bitcoin the first time when Ponzi schemes where very rampant and making every other options of making money online seem like scam and after I grew past that very stage,

The second stage which was lack of fiat to buy BTC became the major issue, and with a very recessional country like mine, where the cost of living is already becoming very unbearable and saving becoming very impossible, I wouldn’t blame anyone who finds it very difficult to hold despite earning as well as having the DCA method because it seems everyone is already feeding from the works of your hands to their mouth without even having any savings left.

I had an opportunity to invest early in Bitcoin but ignorance and lack of funds ruined my chances. I discovered Bitcoin in the early stages but ignorance never allowed me pay attention to it back then, to be honest I felt it was a new scam to steal people's money therefore I didn't even care to learn about it when i first had the opportunity to, but along the line I picked Interest in it when Bitcoin attained a height above $10k in 2017 but I was very unwilling to invest the pocket money I earned from my dad since I didn't have any job back then and solely depended on my parents for financial support.

Nevertheless, my doubt about Bitcoin got cleared when Bitcoin went beyond $17k and got to about $25k plus towards the ending of November in 2020, I had no choice but to invest with the little money I got from linear jobs I was earning from by then, and it really helped me that December when it crossed $28k and I was able to get food items and gifts for my parents with some of the profits I got from it. If only I had invested earlier or had been able to convince my parents to try invest since they were financially capable of doing so but I was so ignorant and had doubts over the future of BItcoin.

However I'm so grateful for joining this great forum that's helped to enhance my knowledge concerning Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrencies at large to a certain level and currently I don't regret anymore since I've realised that it's not too late to invest more and hold for the future cause I've seen and now believe that  the chances of Bitcoin attaining more heights is still very possible.

Hmmm, if I could recall back, it was during the days of MMM, that was when I heard of Bitcoin,  I think that was in the year 2017, as at then I had zero knowledge of it, and due to the terrible experience I had with MMM, I thought it's one of this Ponzi scheme, so I just abstain, because after my the experience I got with MMM, I vow never to engage with any ponzi scheme again, so Bitcoin investment getting to my knowledge then, I just sees it as one of the new ponzi scheme that just came out, so that was how I missed the opportunity to invest in it earlier.

And during those days, technology hasn't gain popularity in my locality as of today, because we mostly sees anything done online as scam, and it all boils down to the experience we had with MMM, but with time, when technology start gaining more popularity and we start using it, that's when we start having regret that how we wish, we knew earlier.

Back then I never had any idea what Bitcoin was and to me it sounds like another way of being scammed, after getting to know a little about it I let it go because non of my friends who talked half about it came to give me the main information about Bitcoin and how I can make it become something big so I still had it in mind that is any way of scammers planning. If I had gotten some positive side of it like much explaining or lectures I believe I would have jumped into Bitcoin investment long ago so mine is lack of information that killed my opportunity.

I have it heard from a friend and then he never mentioned bad things about it. Though he pointed out that it was mostly used for illegal things in the deep web and such. I have never regret that I firstly knew it. I started to get to know more about it from this great community and all of those barriers and negative impressions about it was overcome by Bitcoin.
Well, my standing before financially was not so well and that might be the problem of most of us when we entered on this space that is greatly appreciated now globally.

I think everything ultimately has its own story but the most likely is that trust and confidence in bitcoin has always been an issue that simply cannot be let go of.

We know that this has always been a scourge where when we are new to bitcoin, it is certain that trust in bitcoin is very small in the end so that is what prevents us from being in bitcoin.
Because not a few people who are in bitcoin do not come from trust first but indeed see that their prices are getting bigger so try their luck in it without knowing what bitcoin is and how it works because they just want to be there and then learn about it after actually entering.

This happens to some people and indeed things like this I have also experienced so that trust in a small bitcoin which actually hinders what we will do because it is not uncommon for there to be a lot of people who know bitcoin from the beginning but only entered after bitcoin really became booming like today.
Yea, it wasn't just ignorance, but majority of us who heard about bitcoin for the first time had no faith and confidence in Bitcoin, we only joined the Bitcoin family after we must have seen and heard about the wonderful things bitcoin was doing.

I first heard about bitcoin in a period when there were lots of ponzi schemes which have duped many of their hard earned money. Bitcoin sounded just like one of those, so why should I have confidence in just another ponzi scheme? Grin my perception about it changed years after I realised the supposed "ponzi scheme" was still standing, no one has been duped and those who invested earlier are already enjoying all the benefits Bitcoin has to offer.

I have no regrets mate, now I have full confidence in Bitcoin and that's all I need to have a successful bitcoin investment. Investing in a project I'm not sure of would have led me into making wrong investment decisions or worst still withdraw my investment capital prematurely out of frustration.

The first time I heard about bitcoin was the Mt.Gox scandal, and it was not a thing that invited me to invest. I guess it was mainly ignorance and seeing it at the time as being linked to scams or a Ponzi bubble. But well, in the end I invested and it hasn't been bad for me.
To be fair that’s a terrible introduction to crypto!

anyone would be a bit hesitant to continue further or pursue crypto if their first encounter with it was with such a controversy. tho many people try to research more, there are also ones who just believe the very thing they see.

We are on the same boat but my situation is much more life regretting thing. Why? I have heard about Bitcoin wayback when im still at college on year 2010 and same as you have perceived about it which
i do believe or thinking about being a new scam into the market on which i had just neglect it out and dont mind. On the moment that it had become that ringing out bells on year 2015-2016 then this is
where i do start up to remember that i have heard this thing 5 years before on which it did really make me regret on why i havent invested or trying to look for it into those early years?

This is why on the moment that i have that remembered on what i had missed then it does bring out that huge regret and would really be that making myself thinking about being rich
if i had that invested on that particular time but well whats done is done and time wont really be coming back and you had just missed out that golden train. This is why now im really that thriving
on making up some good decisions when it comes to crypto investment and finding up gems on which i do know that it would be having some potential.

I have alot of things that made me not to invest in bitcoin earlier. One of them is that I was younger when bitcoin came into existence so I could hardly know about it or Invest on it. Second It would have been hard for me then, considering that I was fed by my parents, asking them to help me invest in bitcoin would have been problematic because I didn't know much about it which I would have find it difficult to convince them about the importance of bitcoin because there was no evidence to show bitcoin performance. But today bitcoin has grown so big, making people to believe in it and also invest. In summary even if I had the opportunity I would not do anything because I never know much about it and was not financially boyant.

Mostly the lack of knowledge of bitcoin, and my finances were too poor to think of carrying on an investment in bitcoin when nobody around me was to teach or indirectly how to invest in Bitcoin with the little I had as a newbie.

It was as time passed by, through the knowledge I received from btt forum, that I began to learn how Bitcoin investment was, that someone can invest with the little they have and hodl it for long.

Usually, people hesitate to invest in bitcoin because they do not believe in it and have lack of knowledge. Those who have seen one or more bitcoin price four years cycles including the bull and the bear market, they very well know the importance of bitcoin and the investments in it.

Also, people who are newbie in crypto has so many sources to know about Bitcoin BTC. Also after the bitcoin ETF it is more trusted and those who only trusted the stock markets, know very well that now they can invest in bitcoins too. Times have changed now and more people are investing in Bitcoin. Those people like who knew about bitcoin early in 2016-17 and before and they didn't invest in them, they can only regret now.

This mistake of not investing in Bitcoin in the early days is something that has happened to almost everyone here now because when Bitcoin comes, many never believe in it and think that it is another means to scam people while some think that it is a Ponzi scheme; nevertheless, it’s not too late for anyone to invest so as not to did such complain letter when Bitcoin go above $200k in the future.

Fear and financial capacity. I think it is a normal thing especially with its early stages. Proof to this are instances such as the guy who traded his Bitcoin for a pizza.  Many people before had no positive belief that Bitcoin will become as big as with the present. Same goes actually tight now; many of us are expecting its market price to be higher like $100k or higher but why aren't we all buying at this point right? 'coz many people are still not knowledgeable with what they are desiring on personal conversation. It is okay to regret or do lose sometimes. What matters is how much you have learned from that instance. Learn and practice how you will make things a lot easier to all parties
Like most everyone else here, it's the fact that we are not highly knowledgeable about bitcoin that made us fearful to invest in bitcoin. And along with that, lack of finances that serves as a barrier not to invest in bitcoin. And with some negative feedbacks by majority of the people around me, that also discourage me to risk investing in bitcoin.

However, with all those barriers way back then, now I'm already confident to grab the opportunity to invest not because a lot of people are saying that it will bring life changing profits, but because I'm more aware and knowledgeable about the high potentials of bitcoin.

This forum was quite helpful and I gained quite a meaningful experience while I was here and I discovered many new things. We are lucky enough to join here because we can continue to gain knowledge about Bitcoin and so on.
That's for sure because every time Bitcoin reaches ATH a new price will definitely appear and I have experienced this several times. It's never too late to start and people like that have said it before, but Bitcoin continues to show new prices. You need consistency to get involved in it and if you know the right way then slowly the Bitcoin assets you have will continue to increase.

Simple, I just don't understand and trust Bitcoin, that's.

Bitcoin is still new, even though Bitcoin become popular recently, but it still not enough to convince people to invest in Bitcoin. There are still many people keep saying Bitcoin is scam or not real, I was like them before.

Fortunately I dare to take a step to buy Bitcoin with small amount of money and after I focus to learn Bitcoin deeply through this forum, here I'm, a Bitcoin maximalist. Cool

In a prior post I commented that the very reason why I wasn't able to invest any earlier than 2015-2016 was because I was a starving highschool student with little to no ways of making money. I wasn't born rich either so it's not like I can just ask my parents for money to investing, not that they will understand how it works anyway. In any case, thanks to this forum and the signature campaign program that it offers I was able to earn enough money to actually make my first million.

So while I didn't have many open doors for me from the get-go, it didn't necessarily become a reason for me to stop from starting and investing in bitcoin. It was an arduous process and it's definitely a long and winding one, but it's something that has honed and led me to this moment.
