People are becoming concious on what activity they will put their wealth. People are scared of crypto because it is becoming related to scams, the increasing number of scam is giving wrong impression to other altcoin which really has the potential to succeed. There is no denying that its harder to trust new offer coins now because of the news given by the mainstream.
Mainstream media has really big factor on why people become scared ir attracted to cryptos. Proper public presentation to people must be clear, I'm usually hearing new about crypto which shows cryptosystem is an activity instead of makibg it as an asset and a form of payment.

People fear new stuff they don't understand. Because we evolved to fear and mistrust new stuff we don't understand.

The thing that scared the most people is that bitcoin is not backed by any centralized organization and that it could be a ponzi kinda thing. I pity such people to be honest as they have submitted to the elites and have become puppets in their hands.
Good question. The most important thing I've heard is that cryptocurrency is a fake, a hoax. In addition, there is an opinion that they are needed only for illegal activities. I also heard that people are afraid of being hacked - I'm talking about mining.
Nobody actually afraid of crypto-currencies, people just make their own decisions to get in or to stay away from it. On this decisions affect different factors, such us around opinion and the mass media. For example if I would have at lest one person who would say me to invest in Bitcoin at the moment when I just join (the price was 200$) I think I would do it, but I was surrounded by people who were skeptical to crypto-currencies and some of them stay the same even if Bitcoin Brooke the one record by another.
Most of the people who i am talking they dont want to take risk even normal trading they think that gambling . Most of the people afraid about taking risk in my community so they are not investing on bitcoin.
Most of the people scare of Crypto because they don't understand it clearly. Virtual money has banned in many Countries. Therefore Governments usually say bad things on TV, Newspaper,... This leads people don't trust in cryptocurrency.
Most of the people saying its just a big bubble some says its a ponzy scheme . but i am a technical guy and into IT providing software solution i could able to sense power of Blockcahin technology , Peer to peer Network and Decentralised database No one can able to scare me on Crypto currency.

Most people are afraid of risking their money in cryptocurrencies is that they don't actually have enough knowledge about trading. They are most likely the negative thinkers who always think of the worst than the best. As a noob, you'll definitely be afraid of online investments. Add to it the fact that there are myths that give bad impressions towards cryptocurrencies like bitcoin.Another reason is that these people are thinking that cryptocurrencies are fast money or a quick-money scheme. There's a lot of news about money schemes that turn out to be scams, and people are now hesitating to invest in cryptocurrencies with the fear that they might get scammed, too.
i think some people scare of crypto, they think crypto never give profit and their money will be lost because the price of crypto is very fluctuating. 
I think it's mostly the volatility that scares investors. The information/technical skill required to start up scares users. That and the fact that many noobs lose access to wallets by accident and just lose coins. I guess you could say that you can lose cash, as well, but cash doesn't have the threat of getting hacked. Again, I guess cash can get stolen, too, but people fear the unknown. If you don't understand how something was hacked, it's scarier than getting mugged because at least they know how to learn from that experience.
What they are afraid of cryptos maybe they don't have enough knowledge how cryptocurrency is,Cryptocurrency is like our local currencies but not authorized by the government,and it's not stable yet but still,millions of people use it for online shopping and sending/recieving money to others even one of popular cryptocurrency (Bitcoin) launches his ATM in the USA.

I have heard someone said bitcoin is a funny money that you can not touch but is in the air! His perception of cryptocurrency is twisted. The fellow believes there is nothing real about it sincw he can not touch it.
I think the most thing many people scare of cryptocurrency is not stable. Although increasing can help them earn profit, if decreasing will make them lose all money.

That's right. If you are only careful in every transaction you make then there is nothing you have to be afraid of because my coins was never been hacked. And for me, the thing that scares me most is one day that they made it illegal to hold cryptos here in my country.

I don't think that people have much fear with the Cryptocurrency much because only those people are afraid much who know how the market can go to dead for a coin and those people have not much fear or we can say they have no fear who don't know much about cryptocurrency Because they are not facing any problem in Thier life of money with cryptocurrency. So here totally a matter of understanding and knowledge .
Here I myself have fear with the altcoins specially but still making investment with my own stretagy and making lots of profit .
So just it is knowledge only , and if this knowledge people will not have then they will loss Thier money .
