HOLD, HODL and again HODL. This is only the idea till next halving.
If you are trading you may do whatever you wish but if you are regular crypto earner. You must need to take care the own expenses apart from holding funds. I am sure 50k USD worth will be 1 bitcoin very soon. So HODL always.
If you say these things maybe it's because you have recently entered the market and you are at a loss, so you have no other alternative to HOLD.
If you have been in the market for longer, you will understand that in some moments HOLD is not the best choice you can make, but it always depends on the assets you have and are managing.
If it is small, say within 10 Btc (however the value is subjective), you can also simply "get out" completely from the market, with the entire capital, and park in 2-3 stablecoin, gold and fiat; obviously you will not catch and you will go out to the maximum of the market (December 2017) but already if you had gone out in February-March 2017
to return gradually after 12 months you would have made a very wise move.
If you have a large, very large asset, then getting out of the market altogether and then returning would be more complicated but not impossible; however you could always go out for 75% as indicated above (stable, gold and fiat),
to then always return gradually, while for the remaining 25% you divide it among the best Coin on the market, and in any case among the top 20.
All this regardless of whether the bitcoin will reach $ 50,000 or $ 500,000;
strategy and risk management does not look at the price!
