The basic principle in trading is BUY LOW / SELL HIGH but that is not always the case. Sometimes when  it continues to dive,we are force to SELL so as to minimize the losses or just wait as the price become stabilize and wait again for it to rise.

I learned another strategy from another forumer her that when the price go down, at buy at least a third or more but not all btc because it might lower further just always save a standby btc on your wallet and monitor the movement. Wink

basically, before playing you must look at the statistics trading price of the coins would you buy, if the coin is known and the price drops of 30%, then buy, because according to my calculations, the price of the coin will surely rise

I use to be on a trading site to try my luck but it went belly up so learned from that experience fairly quickly.
Now when I get some bitcoin from the tasks that I do, I just sell them when people are in the market to buy.

wow you are so collectors

Buying at lower price and selling at higher price.  Wink And checking the BTC market before that.  Grin

I've told about that strategy before, but I've never done it. Haha, seriously. I need money to buy my necessities, so I don't have time to wait. that's why I have another strategy. I trade on btc-e then I sell it to local traders, I will get profit but not too much. at least it works  Grin

I trade with a minimum of a $20 difference, and then wait for it to drop with $20 and buy in again, when it is lower. This way you absorb some of the fees, and it is still profitable. I do not keep all my bitcoins on the exchanges too, it is to risky and I cannot afford to lose a single one.

i prefer to trade bitcoin with altcoins than another currencies. my strategy only look for coin with highest volume (poloniex best place to trade with high volume) because rate changes very fast and look for 5-10% profit. but trade many times in 1 day.

When i think price is low, I will buy, then price is 100 above my price, I will sell half. If price goes fiend, I will tell myself I am in it for the long long term, like  5 years. When the price is lower, then I will buy more, repeat the above process.
So far, I don't buy any more since I don't have much money and I am in it for the long term.

Buy low sell high.
Yeah sometimes this strategy was successful. but what if after the price drops and we bought, but prices continue to fall? what would you do ?

You gotta use an efficient stop loss system in order to be safe from sudden downfalls. There are some automated bots that will trade for you.

Trading, though, is only worth the trouble for significant amounts of invested capital. And the risk is, of course, much bigger than just hold.

Well,I'm sure you made this post as it might be one of the rule by your signature campaign to make a new thread in this section, isn't it ?You have swagBucks avatar which was a long gone shit coin which cave are you living under? Definitely trading should not be a good idea for you if you can't keep up with the market.Anyhow I use hops strategy.Let the coins hop through a few exchanges until it reaches a right one at the right time with the right price ,sell them.

Trading is probably the worst thing to do, though the transaction fees for cryptocurrency are pretty low.  The thing is, volatility is off the chain with all of them and you need balls of steel-reinforced concrete.  And I do not possess such testiclats myself.
