I think You can't cancel the operation since you confirmed the transaction, no one forced you to do it, you sent the money to full trust. therefore, you need to be very careful and transfer money only to trusted people / organizations

Hi readers,

Two days ago I have been scammed a message lured me to sent btc's to be rewarded with btc's. Is there a way to undo the payment?   I bought with a credit card for the first time btc's and open an Electum wallet where my btc's can transfer to. From the wallet I did the payment to the scammer(s).

Hope it can be fixed.

Unfortunately, nothing can be done. Here kicks in the immutable attribute of a blockchain transaction which favors those that threads carefully and makes another scratch their head from utter disbelief and regret upon making an unwanted transaction.

And bitcoin not having a central governing authority, there's really no one to report to. But it will of course do good to have the person reported on forums like this so that other people can stay away from those dubious people.

One last note though, make sure you were scammed and not merely wanting to reverse a mistaken transaction because it will not be cool to drag peoples name to and judge them to be scammers with no factual basis.

Their is no way one can reverse payment made on the blockchain network. Once it has gotten confirmation on the blockchain, it is irreversible. Just take it as a lesson and be more careful next time.
there is no other way if you have been deceived. you have to be calm all that makes the experience of buar later on be more careful and make the password a little complicated so that it is not easy to hack.

I have already encountered the same thing last year but then at that time I does not have the courage to take a move with the dos for it. But then, badly, encountering such scenario will not revive every thing unless you had capture the scammer.

This reminds of any anonymous sites that says that they give a good amount of btc in return for giving them also some btc. I was very close to believe that it is really true because there are many comments that proves they received it but there is doubt because they are not real people so I'm happy I did not fall for it.
I experience this thing before on twitter asking for some eth and will give you more eth in return. Well, I fall on that trap and make my money lose but the good thing is I learned from that mistake. There is no way to get that money back, you better forget about that and learned from that experience. Do your best to protect yourself, we may fall sometimes but don't let that bad experience stopped you from achieving your dream.

You can't do much when you've been scammed. The only thing you can do is to learn from your mistakes and do not be trapped again in the future. Of course, it is better to learn from others' mistakes but what to do. Such an unpleasant experience can save you more money in the future while investing.

Learn from it and move on! That's the best thing to do this case. Since  Bitcoin transactions are irreversible, I would suggest to just focus on moving forward rather than dwelling from that incident. Dwelling in our mistakes will not help us in any way. They should only serve as reference for us for the future. Learn and be smarter...that's the way to do it!

Its sad how other people scam others. This kind of situation is really hard to be resolved. I hope that this loss of yours will help you to realize your mistakes and take this as a lesson. Many of us also had a bad experience with bitcoin, but it makes more stronger than before because we learn from our own mistakes and now we a re not afraid to risk.

the money that has been sent cannot be withdrawn anymore
there are no agencies that take care of the existence of bitcoin, so everything you do is very risky, especially if you send funds without thinking of something potentially bad about your decision

Sad to say but the btc's you have been send cannot be undo. You can't get back the btc's you already transfer to the scammers. All you need to do is make that experience of yours a lesson. Indeed, many scammers are lurking around just to scam others and we can't do anything when we scam unless you know the people behind it so that you can file a suit against them.

No one's answering the thread title so, here we go:

Learn from your mistake and get over it because (as they say) Bitcoin Transactions are irreversible
or better if you can tell us the site where you were scammed and their possible modus operandi so you or anyone here can open a scam accusation to that site.
That way, your experience wont just help you but other prospective victims too.
Also lastly, we aren't 100% sure if that address is really a scammer's address, you know what I mean, right?
Yes it’s true, the best way to do is to learn from that mistake. Bad experience can help us to be wiser as a human being. I just hope that the person involved didn’t lose too much of his/her bitcoin. And that he/she can share to everyone which site it is for all of us to be aware of.
