Just keep holding to your coin and always wait till the coin price raised up. You just need more patience for your coin to get instant profit.

If price drops, then use it as an opportunity to buy as much possible believing in its power to grow and provide with a bigger profiting which you can't make it through any other means. Right now the price seems to be big for the common men to afford as a whole.
right when the price fall down I don't really panic sell my coins but I take that opportunity to buy more coins and get a greater profit in the end . Honestly I am waiting for bitcoin price to fall down so that I can buy some good amount of bitcoins but damn bitcoin prices continue to rise I can't get a perfect moment to buy some

Hello. I have a folio of BTC, ETH, NEO and some alts. I've been watching at Bitcoin since 2015 but bought only at this summer (and the last move was quite bad, I bought some BTC for $4600). I try to study, watch vids, read forum and twitters. Chris Dunn has a vid on the topic but nothing really specific. I'm interested in some ideas about what to do when prices are falling.  Sell alts and hold bitcoin? Short? (and if yes, so the next question is how to learn how to short?).

Me at first since I do not know much in here, all I do when the price is low is just sit back, relax and wait for the rise of the price. I just always visit on the different exchangers and especially coins.ph. but my point of view changes when we had a conversation of me and my friend that knows a lot in bitcoin. He told me to buy coins when the price is low then sell it when its price rises so that it will grow into a big amount of money and I get lots of money. I realize its true. That is what he is doing and he is earning big amount of money. Now I am starting to do the same thing.

I know some of here will trade their coins because they are afraid that the coin value or price will go more decreasing and that is the time to buy some coins because some of here will trade in ..and when you already buy some coins just wait untill the coin value or price will go high it might triple your money.

I think BTC is right now the ground truth asset, the rest are orbiting around. Rising altcoins and converting them to BTC is a sure movement right now, your gains will be low but consistent.

that should be done when the price goes down .. i can only hold my coin till the time the price goes back up .. if there is no choice i will sell it with the best price
price of bitcoin is varying with time so whenever you can see that bitcoin price is going down then you need to start buying bitcoin because that is the best time for trading so whenever the price of bitcoin again increase from present rate then you can start selling bitcoin.

There's only one thing to do when the price of a cryptocurrency, be it an altcoin or bitcoin, is falling or is still too low: HOLD. This is actually a case of the law of supply and demand. Let's discuss about it.

There are 3 cases where the law of supply and demand can be applied: (a) if the supply is low and the demand is high, the price is high, (b) if the supply is high and the demand is low, the price is low (decrease), and (c) if the supply and demand are equal, the price is stationary (stable).

In the case of crpytocurrencies, if more people are selling their altcoins but only few buyers will buy, the tendency is that bitcoin price will fall since the high supply of bitcoin available for trade doesn't match with the demand needed. On the other hand, if there is high demand of bitcoin but low supply, the tendency is that the price of bitcoin will rise up so that bitcoin holders will be forced or tempted to sell their bitcoins. That's why before forking, we can observe that bitcoin price usually tend to rise up.

Before getting into crypto-trading, always put into your mind that cryptocurrency is not really different from other tangible products being traded by other people. This is a part of Economics, and you should apply the rules and laws of Economics in crypto-trading.

If everything is falling down,  save its price. Sell them to USDT.  Then if the coin reaches the bottom. Rebuy the coin using the money you use to sell them. Once the coin recovers, you will get a huge profit.

If the price falls, I usually hold my coins until it grows up and brings me a good profit. If I have free money. then I can buy more coins at a cheap price.

When the price falls, that's the right time to buy and make it an asset for future. No need to panic sell because it's value increases so high when prices do go up again. so it's better to store more when the value if less or down.

Do the purchase, hold it, and wait for the bitcoin price increase, take advantage of a price ladder to looking for choice and an upsell opportunity from the fluctuations that occur every day.
better to practice patience, as we continue seeing bitcoin rise up and it will affect the value of certain alts that we supporting, we just know how to
analyze well, cutting loses to buy some more is also better, understanding the flow and fluctuation can lessen loses in time like this mate, just keep
reading and observing to intercept possible outcome.

When prices are falling, buy. That is the simplest yet wisest thing to do. But if you see falling prices of the coins you are holding, then the best thing to do is hodl more. You should have sold them when they are still holding high value or when they were breaking their previous ATH. But there is another option, cut loss. But only if you are losing a little and that another prospect will be giving you a good deal of profit.

I dont hold any alts anymore, I usually sell an alt if it is about to dump, I wait until it reach its dip.  Then I place again my buy order in that coin. Technically its called swingtrade. Bitcoin is a different story,  I can hold it even it goes 100% down.

You have 2 options that is keeping it if you see it will increase again in the next time or sell when you lose no more than 10%. I think 10% is acceptable if your property is reduced. Keep a close eye on your investment project to make the decision.

BTC and Alt have separate market fluctuations.
Which should be done when the price goes down, I do it the same as the other, that is by holding or buying as much as we can, then selling it as the price is rising, and this also includes one method of short learning.

If you want to cut you loss and wait the price to increase, you can swap your coins to Tether (usdt) when you feel bitcoin dumping for long period. It's always fixed in 1$.
When the prices begins to rise again, you re-buy bitcoin or other altcoin with your Tether.
This is one way to trade most of the top cryptocurrencies by trading against USDT which in this case serves as fiat. You can watch the market, look out for breaking of support and then buying at those points and then watching out as it grows. It is just to have a strategy of never losing too much and knowing how you can utilize the market to your maximum profit.
