If the price goes down the first thing i do is just be patient if you study first before you invest and you bilieve that the team and company can survive at all test then i want to buy more for holding until the price goes up again and if it reach to the limet that i want to sell it for a good profit the i will sell all my coins
Sometimes, it just depends on the news at hand. There are so many times you need to make a quick move than ending up losing so much. Patience has given me what I never expected and it all depends on the coin you are holding too at that point in time.

If a coin is a strong coin like BTC, Dash, ETh, and so on, then you can at least hold them for long and be rest assured that after the bloodbath, you have a chance of recovering and even profiting the more from the ones you buy at dips but not all coins fall in this category.

Often times the best thing to do is turn off the news and come back to it in a week. If you are in something with any remote value prices should stabilize well before then and you won't be acting on rash emotions. Sell if you still think it's bad otherwise look forward and re-evaluate why you are in the trade to begin with.

hold it, or buy it. selling would be a bad thing. it only makes you lose, because bitcoin prices tend to rise. So, it's only natural that bitcoin prices go down, and never panic. because panic just makes you take stupid action.

bitcoin  price is varying with time and  whenever price is falling then i can start buying more and more bitcoins and also keeping my own bitcoins till to the time when the rate of bitcoin is high then i will start selling bitcoin and can earn enough profit through this way.

Holding is always, But it's all back to history of that coin if that coins is brand new i can hold it for a long term, just sell when i got small loss.. don't ever do trading if you just wanna profit from trading. If you already got profit you should try how you feel when you loss

What to do when prices are falling? simply just buying for what coin would you prefer to buy to add that again on your assets..
If you're really a trader you will feel happy because of falling down price.. Don t need to panic selling .. But look at this as opportunity..

It depends on the situation. Holding is very helpful but not all the time. Sometimes you need to sell your coin cheaper than to its original price to avoid the big loss.
Yes exactly it totally depends upon the current situation that how you take it. sometimes you have to sell imediately to prevent from loss but sometime you have to be stay calm but in general when Prices are falling of course don't panic if the value got dumped. Don't let your emotion control your mind and brain, so that you're gonna put in the situation that you can become totally wreck. You just have to be believe on your coin and you have to be confident on iit for the long term to get benefit from it because up and downs are temperory.

Don't panic, when price is falling. Bitcoin fluctuates a lot. I think when you start trading you should use stop-loss and take-profit.
That is for sure thing. Bitcoin have been fluctuating from the very first day and till now you can see the big and continuous fluctuation. This is the beauty of bitcoin and believe me if this fluctuation ends and bitcoins will be stable, there will no sure fame and profits in bitcoin. So don’t get worried about it and never comes to the game of being panic. It will eat up all your profits.

My advise is just to buy a few of falling prices and wait until to goes up again. It takes some time for the price to recover but don't worry since it is probably worth the wait.
There are number of newbies who learn a very good experience at such kind of scenarios. They actually get panic when they see going in loss and they go for selling their bitcoins at the low price. Whereas, they actually need to cash that opportunity in a way that they should go for holding of the bitcoins which they are already having and go for buying as many bitcoins as they can for better results.

Hello. I have a folio of BTC, ETH, NEO and some alts. I've been watching at Bitcoin since 2015 but bought only at this summer (and the last move was quite bad, I bought some BTC for $4600). I try to study, watch vids, read forum and twitters. Chris Dunn has a vid on the topic but nothing really specific. I'm interested in some ideas about what to do when prices are falling.  Sell alts and hold bitcoin? Short? (and if yes, so the next question is how to learn how to short?).
If it's me, then first i would research what caused the price to fall, if it's nothing serious (just some fud) then i will buy if there's spare money available to increase my holding. I try not to sell whenever the price crash because there will be recovery later, the only time i sell is when i lost faith to the coin. I don't short because i'll likely miss the timing so holding works better for me.

Based on my readings, many long time traders mostly hold their coins, or use them to buy other coins with reasonably low prices to be stored until the price ripens and is ready for trading. I think since you are intuitive and you like learning, it would be better to read about the background of companies proposing investors to invest in their projects or business. By doing this, you can gain valuable knowledge if the risk of investing can be swallowed, or if it's too good to be true to succeed, therefore, it can serve as a good indicator to avoid those investments.

Panicking should even be the last thing for any good trader or even a long term holder.
Every trader should have a straight decision according to plans on what to do when the market is in blood and then make the decisions as fast as possible. For someone holding for long, it is not even necessary cause definitely the market will bounce back, no doubt when the coast is clear.

Its called opportunity to get more from xx coin since its cheaper, but there is a risk wich can make the coin to dont be able to recover anymore those past values as well. Usually i do buy some altcoin to invest, my main interest is bitcoin wich is more stable and with huge potencial to keep growing over time, but i dont look too much the price i do like to see the ammount i have into bitcoins, no matter its value.

It depends on the coin you invested in. Some will keep depreciating in value, so you can decide to sell early to reduce your loss or hold for longterm. But for other highly valued coins, the fall does not last long, so, hold. they will appreciate in a short time and gain more value than before.

Well, you have 3 options:

1. Cut your losses. If you have lost faith in the coin, this is your best option. Sad

2. Buy more! If you have the funds and believe in the coin, then what buy more and more as the price drops.

3. HODL! If you don't have the funds to increase your position but still believe in the coin, then you best option is to HODL. (Just forget you own it for a few months/years)

Good luck and stay safe! Tongue
Yep that’s the understanding, we buy low and sell at a high price. But I don’t think all of us usually get such an opportunity. When price is falling I don’t panic, I just leave my money there; when price is falling, it falls and when price goes high, it goes high– simple.
A very well said sir. This three options are basic but very important rule of trading. And a most basic principle that I am applying to myself when prices of coins are falling is holding when u don't have at vmcoin to buy to add to my investments and hold when I have a coin but I see that it doesn't satisfy to exchange my coin. Holding is my very used principle in my trading, and also patience.

I think the best way to react in such situation is that holding the coins which you have and also if you have more fund by more of the same coins and keep faith the coins. And firstly you should invest in coin in which you have trust. I you have trust in coin you could hold them and also increase the profit in in.

This is the best way to earn when the coin is at drop. Most of the people will try to sell all of them and put there self in big loss but holding is the best option always and there is a great chance of a profit if you hold the coins.
