do make out some frustration and rage whenever we do lose money which is normal.Me myself could be considered to be a casual gambler on where i do play when i do get interested
or something i do get some bonuses or free spins from some sources and thats the only time i do consider on making deposits if i do find out to be entertaining or interesting.

But don't tell me that you are just having fun in gambling and you don't mind if you lose big. Gambling can be fun but what makes us to gamble more is the gain that is there. The constant profits we keep making is what makes many of us to take gambling more seriously than other things. We are all interested in making more money so everyone goes into gambling nit just for the fun but for the money. Gambling looks like an easy ways to double our funds without much risk.

Most of your classification seemed to have focus more on an offline gambling platforms. Like the physical casinos and all. Could it be that all the classifications as at above don't apply in everywhere, like for the one casinos because, I don't see anyone meeting new people there as is the case with Casual gamblers.

I think what goes more for me is the social gambler. I don't gamble much and when I do, it's simply me trying my luck with the odds and seeing how well I have known the game or can predict a match. Although, the desire to win is always there but, its okay if I loose and I've got no time to try winning my money back.

Yup, we're somehow lucky because we had the right mindset so that we won't get addicted. Not a good situation but I'm glad that I managed to get out and now, I just gamble whenever I had a time but it's not my priority when I'm seeking entertainment because I found a new hobby so that I can have a safe distance when it comes to gambling.

Initially I fall in the category of Compulsive Gamblers but with a lot efforts I was able to get myself out in this category and it wasn't easy though but now base on what I have read from this thread base on the explanations you made here ,I now fall in the category of professional gambler because they said experience is the best teacher, I'm into more of the business side now than before.
With this thread it also shows that gamblers can equally shift phases i.e from one category of gambler to another one, due to my own experience with gambling.

Since we are in crypto market, most of us here are busy with other things like on bounty, trading, and even on the P2E games, that’s why casual gambler are more popular. Same here, and actually that's really common here and the poll shows that 53.7% of the users here in this forum are more of casual social gamblers than the others specified by the OP. That said, I only gamble rarely and if I gamble, I'm just there to entertain myself and not seeing gambling activities as a way to generate money. If at the end of the day I'm winning then that's just a bonus for me as I only seek entertainment.

After getting a negative experience from gambling, you should be able to avoid gambling and alcohol because I'm sure you certainly don't want to have a negative experience a second time. This will be tough for you as gambling and alcohol can make you more tempted to return. But I'm sure you can handle it well.

But, if seriously, I would combine 2 types from the list, "Casual Social Gamblers" and "Relief and Escape Gamblers" because it's always both, for me, at least, "relieving stress" and "managing causes of stress".

I would not confuse these two categories - there is too much negativity in the second (in the definition), they are rather close to drug addicts.

I personally don't see any negativity in the word "Relief", but I agree that escaping reality isn't a good thing in general. What I meant was that by managing causes of stress with gambling you are doing the same as a casual social gambler when he/she is using gambling for recreation - it's managing causes of stress, isn't it?

I wasn't able to choose from the mentioned type of gamblers. I feel like gambling when I was in need of money. Sometimes I feel lucky and most of the time it ends up with an unlucky day. If I'm not wrong, majority of my campaign payment ends up losing. I don't deposit and play, for that reason I feel like I was on the lucky side. If not, by now I could've experienced a big loss affecting my living.

Never knew there are types of gamblers but it interesting to see, for me and according to what you shared I'm a serious social gambler, it matches perfectly with me, I'd love to be a gambler who just gamble for fun without risking big amounts of money that will regret doing later but it's hard, gambling addiction is bad but at least I'm not a compulsive gambler.
