I wouldn't call that luck just yet, not until he successfully cashed out his winnings out of that gambling site he is playing with. I don't find it funny either but it's a depressing moment to me. I'd rather see a normal result even if it's not a win because I can still walk out with that easily. Of course as a gambler I also had accidental moments and sometimes it turned out to be great like I bet on a slight high amount (unintentionally) and luckily hit a win. It's only a small multiplier though.

I only find the video above shady because why it was already recorded with another phone, camera or something? It was like they already expected this to happen? And then the name of the casino is also mentioned. Was it a kind of promotion? And it wasn't my first time hearing the name of this casino along with an interesting story.

This is an annoying situation. Look, our phones don't just malfunctions out of the blues. There must have been signs that went ignored for a long time and now the gambler in the narration paid dearly for overlooking such a small issue that would have cost a little money to fix. This is an incidence that he will live to remember.

In my case, I haven't had such an incidence and pray never to because I would cry my eyes out. The only minor incidence which I get to experience from time to time is very low internet bandwidth that sometime last longer than 5 mins and affects my game.

My understanding is that everyone has experienced bad things while they were involved in the gambling arena, whether in terms of games, losses, or things that are worse than the average that those who gamble have experienced.

I never play casinos on my phone it is always on my desktop I am aware that something like this could happen, especially in games like Crash game, but this thing can be prevented if you use the multiplier to cash out, but we are tempted to try it manually because of the possibility that we can hit a high multiplier.
I feel so sorry for that player, the amount is so huge that it is hard to get over that loss, and it's hard to duplicate that feat I hope OP can move on, and thank you to OP for posting this for awareness.

HAHAHA I agree with you, because I myself felt that way, I once placed a bet with a really large amount, because I touched the wrong target point, and it's true what you said about how anxious I was when that happened.  the other side really hopes to win and the other side I am more resigned. To prevent this it is probably, best to gamble using a PC, but the problem is that gambling using a PC cannot be done anywhere.

Because what you say is true, I also tend to want to gamble where I want and what I think makes gambling comfortable,  gambling doesn't always have to be played on a PC because it can't be played anywhere That's why I still use a cellphone,  because it helps me to gamble which can be done anywhere,  and also with other things. I think I prefer to use a cell phone,  because nothing else, I can do it wherever I want The rest that I have to pay attention to is being careful when touching it.

 My Ugly incident experienced, is already thinking I have won 2 different tickets on sports(football) betting. Only for me to cash out and find out that the team I predicted to win  which was already winning with 2 goals lead later drew the game in just 7minutes remaining to end the game. I was shocked all through out that week because it was a good sum of money.

True! Because the phone is always into us and sometimes without our intent we can do wrong things in the phone like mistouch or unwanted touch, I had a bad experience using a smartphone while gambling. I'm into gambling games at that time, and little did I know, without noticing, I missed touching the cellphone and entered a huge bet. I was shocked when I saw it, but it was too late. Imagine the anxiety hoping that the bet would win; sadly, it didn't. But even though I experienced this, I'm still using my smartphone. Why? Simply because I can gamble anywhere and anytime, maybe I will be more careful of what I do, but if there is a chance that if I'm at home, I will be comfortably playing gambling on my PC for a bigger screen and more immersive gambling, I think there are more bad experiences out there for those gamblers.

I wonder if this is the first time OP played Crash Game on that device, I seldom play Crash Game on my cellphone and if the connection is slow because it is likely to happen, I always play Crash through my desktop and with a good connection, what happened to the user is disheartening I can compare this to a guy who won a jackpot in a lottery but he messed up the ticket and now he cannot claim the jackpot.
You're the most unfortunate if these things happen to you, I can bear if it's only $100 but that amount is so huge that I cannot sleep or eat for a week losing that kind of money.

I dont really understand the story, you said that he got 4870+ multiplier with bet amount 277, but you said the player won 73,059 only? If the win amount is 73,059 only means that he managed to cash out before the crash? But you also said that he was unable to cash out, so it is like incomplete story? As far as I can watch in the video, his bet amount is ZAR 15 only the 277 shown in green is his balance imo. If his bet is 277 then he should have missed more than million ZAR if he could cash out at 4000+. However, I believe even if there was no malfunction on the phone, he should have cashed out earlier because I believe he tried to cash out earlier when the crash reach before a thousand multiplier. He made the video because the crash run up to thousands and it can be a viral video. To avoid something like this, better to play crash automatically where we set our target multiplier, so even if there is an error with our phone, it will stop as what we have set the target.

I salute the mentality of gamblers who are able to accept victory and defeat with a smile, calm and not carried away by emotions, especially in making decisions and clearing up the situation that is being experienced and even managed to hold back greed and sadness in these two conditions. Well if it is with technical problems, then for sure this rarely happens such as with what most of the users in this topic have said. The only instance which made me mad is accidentally betting an amount with extra 'zero' and turned out to be a losing bet. Therefore, I just lost an amount that I did not want to place. I really felt bad for a week and took a pause playing because I was upset. After that, I do always check the amount I wager before placing it in. These unwanted instances are just expensive lessons; we should learn from it.

Once a game is won it automatically looks as though arriving at thst win was easy, then if you withdraw and leave a fraction and lose it in the process, you most definitely will deposit thinking it to be a sure win, but then the approach might not be a one-size-fits-all approach, hence, the reason why I think it might just be a "me" thing

Mmmm. Haven’t noticed that and I would stay on the fence line because I’ve had someone who staked a little amount of money, he won huge from sports betting. He then withdrew the money out but instead  of beginning to lose as you said, he won huge again and still withdrew the gains he made. It could be psychological to lose after making the withdrawal, but it depends on whose mind. You should know that the mind finds a way to work with what you think.

Well that's just bad luck. I do have experienced such BS, indeed. I wonder if somebody can be legally made responsible for devices failing (other than yourself, of course). I do not mean to sue anyone, I am just curious what the legal situation would look like?

Still, 3.9k USD is not the world. It is a lot of money but it too will someday, in the near future be gone. Unless he was smart enough to make an investment with it instead of gambling. I am 99% sure that even if he did win that money, he would have continued gambling with it and have lost it anyway. Most people cannot resist the urge to think of themselves as invincible whenever they think lady luck is 'with them'.

Not entirely my experience, cause for the most part I keep myself safe and sound by only ever gambling in the comfort of my home, and also only ever playing with people who I trust whenever I get invited to go out and gamble in a local casino.

A friend of mine told me about a shoot-out that happened within their area, after people who are piss-drunk decided they'd play tong-its (a Filipino card game that I don't really understand the rules and mechanics with but from what I can assume it's a derivative of poker) while they are inebriated off of gin. They played their cards, they are having fun, until someone apparently accused one of the drinkers/players of peeking at his cards, which apparently is something that is frowned upon in this game. Of course the accused denied the allegation and since they are drunk they figured fighting it out is better than actually talking things through, one of the players allegedly pulled a pen-gun/sumpak (an improvised gun made from PVC pipes) and threatened another that he'll shoot them. The other person didn't appreciate that remark and immediately pulled a gun and shot it at the other person. Luckily no one really died cause they're all piss drunk and can't aim well. But they got arrested for it lol.
