have you played dragons dogma? RPG with fast devil may cry combat mixed with shadow of colossous (you can climb big monster and hit their weak points) - All action RPGS should have such combat mechanics IMO!No innovation and same old mechanic.

I love to play RPGs on my own. That is the only type of game that I can enjoy without playing on multiplayer, because a good RPG just immerses you in an interesting story with lots of characters and a cool world. I'm currently playing Witcher 1 for the first time, I played the second one but never played the first. I am enjoying it a lot, it is very story-driven and the world looks great. Will probably replay the second one after that.
I'm also playing Elder Scrolls: Oblivion and Skyrim from time to time, that's another classic RPG series.
