Will get my hands on Deus Ex directors cut tomorrow, which puts me in a weird situation. Currently I'm mining scrypt, and playing games would cost me my hashrate, essentially costing money.

So basically I'm "paying for playing" which sucks :/

Maybe I should wait till crypto prices drop?

I've found that not all games interfere. I have 105 GHs of BFLs running no problem when I play games. Even with scrypt, cgminer has been made to use less memory on the version 3.0+ versions.

Hey I want to ask something. Most of Bitcoin users must be quite "computer guys" right? So you guys must be quite skillful with games or programming :-? Is this true

Yes, one must know how to use computer to be able to use Bitcoin, so some kind of games play most, some just Solitaire  Smiley

Dude, I was there at the birth of 3D games(WOLF3D) and been playing them all along. One of my rants is this trend of going back to 2D. Why the heck would you move away from realism and regress?? I understand that ipads are one reason for it, but still...

And yes, programming is one of my functions. Not an expert by far, but pretty awesome with byte level manipution for sure.

I know no tournament involving BTC, I only found the Urban Terror server where for each kill you gain BTC, and each death you lose BTC.

Thanks, didnt know about it. It is popular?
I might try it later this week

Sounds awesome, but aren't those kinds of servers infested with hackers?

Wow, just got done beating Dishonored. Highly recommended. The older weapons are annoying, but the storyline and visuals are awesome. The special powers like slowing down time and making a swarm of rats appear are awesome. I think it will be in my all time Top 10 for sure.

Quite true. Today I must say that there are only 2 masses of type of persons using bitcoins(and only a few outside those 2 groups): IT/programming and the financial ones, that are on the board to make some cash.
I'm both an average gamer and an average programmer.
Note that I said that I'm average, I'm far from skillful, no matter which game we're talking about.

Any PS4 owners in here?  I want to buy one but I'm thinking about waiting for a month or 2. There seem to be a few bugs in the current ones.
There is always a bug in the recently launched consoles.
PS3 and Xbox360 had the same thing.

I was lucky with my PS3. Bought it on launchday and it still works fine. There was an article on the news that factory workers sabotaged the PS4 because the working conditions are terrible.
Lol. Looks like the chinese are fighting back. Grin Back on topic, bough Prison Architect during the Steam sale. Pretty entertaining and doesn't take up much space.

Prison Architect is great, but it feels very incomplete (because it is).
It's pretty easy to master due to the small number of features. 6-7 hours in the game and only rare riots, no contraband, no digging, complete control and high profits with ever expanding prisoner space.
I think they should add more unexpected events, like earthquakes and people breaking into the prison.
Otherwise it would get boring when you have unlocked and built everything.
They probably will. This is an alpha and they promised more features. I'd say an infection (deadly or not) would be an interesting event. Or an outside attempt to bust out another prisoner.
